I am quite satisfied with Burger King Zwolle. I occasionally pick up via the drive-thru. Unfortunately, a double Whopper was missing the last time. There was a (cheaper) cheeseburger included, though, with the wrong sticker for a double Whopper. I was quite annoyed about it when I got home, so I sent an email requesting compensation. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from the branch manager. I am satisfied with the good handling of the matter, hence the good rating.

Once I didn't get a tray; it was an hour early, and I was given my food in a bag while I ate it on the tray. That way, they have less washing up at the end. Another time, it was already closed half an hour before closing time. Not every member of staff is equally motivated. I have received much friendlier and better service at other Burger Kings.

I have to explain in my best English that the chicken strips are burnt (I think from the day before and thrown in the deep fryer). The coffee also sticks to the tongue. We got the impression it was reheated coffee.

The fries were cold, the hamburger was cold, the food was inedible, never again, and expensive for cold food. Paid 39.95 for a 3-burger menu that was inedible.

I ate inside here; upon entering it already looked very quiet. We ordered, but the plate was broken. They had called us over, but the food was ice cold and disgusting. Later, I needed lids for the cups; they spoke 0.0% Dutch, and I am still nauseous after a few hours. My father had to throw up, and my mother and I almost did, so this is a one-time thing and never again.

Good afternoon, I ate here with a friend of mine. But this was also the very last time. The chicken nuggets were very dry and our burgers were just thrown together. The sauce on my burger wasn't even spread and the cheese wasn't even melted. Very lackluster. Not again for me.

What a load of crap. I ordered food here via Thuisbezorgd, but ultimately received absolutely nothing. Furthermore, I didn't get my money back either. The manager then does nothing and shifts the responsibility onto employees and Thuisbezorgd. Meanwhile, I am out of food *and* I have lost my money. This is really no way to treat customers at all. If something goes wrong with an order, you expect at the very least that responsibility is taken and that you are helped properly. That is absolutely not happening here. For me, in any case, I will never order anything here again. What terrible service. 😡

The food was fine, but the fries were lukewarm. The trash cans were all full with empty trays on top. As a result, you could only get takeout.

The food is usually okay, but we just waited 25 minutes at the Drive Through (to be clear, we were first in line and had already paid) for a couple of burgers. Zero communication and not even an apology for the long wait. Understaffing can happen, but the way you handle it is a choice.

After waiting fifteen minutes at the ordering kiosk at the drive-thru (we were the only ones there), the order was taken by a girl who spoke broken Dutch. After paying at the first window, we already saw that something wasn't right, but it was okay; too much food usually comes to €49. We settled for 2 menus, 2 separate burgers, and 9 chili cheese nuggets. We were standing at the second window, asked for our order number, and it took 20 minutes before we received our food. In the meantime, we could look inside at the drinks tap, and that thing looked disgusting. After the 20th minute, we finally received our food, but sauces were missing and the food was lukewarm. Immediately after that, we got stomach aches; what a filthy place this is. I wouldn't even recommend this to my worst enemy; unfriendly staff, just really dirty! After waiting 50 minutes in total and paying €49, you often expect something better than this, right?

It really had no taste left. The fries were salty for one bite... the burger was tasteless and even the drink (iced tea) tasted way too sweet.

The staff either speaks broken Dutch or do not speak to you properly at all. I come here regularly, and despite the fact that there are new employees every week, it is a recurring phenomenon. The policy of this branch is flawed.

The food was okay, but the drinks were way too sweet. I think the machines weren't calibrated properly. Also, I don't think there is any air conditioning inside (or it wasn't on), but at 30 degrees, it was boiling hot inside because of that.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings for the burgers and fries. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, and it was also extremely clean.

The vegetarian burger had pork bacon on it. Paid for 9 nuggets and got 6. It was all handled well by the staff, though.

I previously contacted them via email regarding this issue, and at the time, I was told that something would be done about it. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the same thing. The drive-thru regularly closes about fifteen minutes before the opening hours listed on the website. Additionally, it happens that just as you are about to drive in, a bollard is placed right in front of you, forcing you to turn around. This is very unfortunate, especially since the food is always good. However, it causes a lot of disappointment and frustration. You also see multiple people having to turn around at that moment. I hope that this will be looked into seriously and that the opening hours will be adhered to from now on.

On Wednesday, February 25th, we ordered burgers and fries—they were sooo delicious—for me, they were the perfect burgers and fries. On Friday, February 27th, we came again and ordered burgers, fries, and coffee. Unfortunately, the reusable plastic cups ruined the coffee's flavor—it tasted like dishwashing liquid (like Fairy). After that experience, I don't want to order a drink there again. ❗️Please pay attention to this❗️ Since we liked the cappuccino itself, we decided to order it again on February 28th, but this time for takeout (since they serve regular cups), and we were disappointed. The guy didn't know there were different sizes of cappuccino, and then he made a 300ml cup that looked like it was 200ml. I immediately went over and asked another employee if this was normal, because I'd ordered at this same place the day before and they'd poured me a full cup. I was assured it was normal, although I don't think so. In the photo, there was clearly not enough coffee in one of the glasses. I was disappointed the second time I tried this cappuccino. It was completely different from the previous one. It was undrinkable, as if there wasn't enough water or milk. Perhaps if they had made it to the standard, the volume would have been correct. For me, brands like Burger King always set a standard of quality, but here, in the same establishment, different people do things differently. Incidentally, the team that worked on February 27, 2026, in the morning was very good, but on February 28, they weren't up to par.

A truly disgusting Burger King. It's unfortunately one of the few in the area, which is the only reason we come here. They don't keep tables clean. The order board is useless. They shout everything out in accents. If they make the wrong burger, they take it back and throw it away right in front of you. The atmosphere is also like eating in a stable.

First of all, everyone who ordered was mixed up and kept warm on a warming plate. Those with large orders had to wait longer because they ordered more, which the employee explained. Against my better judgment, I went to BK Zwolle (the worst in the Netherlands). I thought things would have improved after a year and a half since my last visit. Not so! At the drive-through, I had problems with the ATM. Ultimately, it was charged twice. I told the lady that the first payment was still pending. If I hadn't checked on the way, I would never have known. So I had to drive all the way back. Sleeping children in the back, cold food now. I got out and wanted to speak to the manager. And this is what happened: The ATM had been acting up for a week, according to the lady, but the manager only realized this after I was at the counter and her colleague mentioned it. The whole team is from India, and the manager doesn't speak Dutch. I got one of the two payments back in cash from their cash register. With a lame apology. No compensation, no full refund. I just paid 17 euros for a return trip, a cold meal, lame apologies, no compensation for a mistake they made, and I'm left to find out, even more disappointed than before. @BurgerKing Netherlands, close this place down!!! It's been a clusterfuck here for years, and no one from Zwolle will ever go there because they know this. Future customer, do yourself a favor and drive to the McDonald's across the street where the service and quality are actually excellent.

The Whopper is truly delicious. The Burger King Whopper is a unique treat. The staff at Burger King in Zwolle is also excellent and does a good job. But for some reason, there are very few Burger King restaurants in the Netherlands.

You have to wait an incredibly long time for your order, and if you want to eat inside, you still have to wait at the counter and pick it up yourself. The service on December 5th around 1:30 PM was abysmal. Everything was too much. I had submitted feedback online and wanted to order a free burger. The process was terribly slow and clearly aggravated. Returning the cup took over five minutes because the waitress deliberately avoided looking at the counter. With eyes turned to heaven and a sigh, the bill was settled. No thank you, no please, no goodbye. Please go home if you don't understand the word "service." I don't want to pay for you!

The fries were ice cold and the buns tasted stale, resulting in a nasty aftertaste that I can still taste. It's unbelievable that Burger King Netherlands doesn't enforce this better. As another reviewer said: "You'll find more atmosphere in a coffin than at this Burger King." As a true Burger King fanatic, I've eaten at several locations over the past few weeks. But this experience was quite disappointing... My girlfriend and I had the Ultimate Cheddar Burger, which I think had the chedder flying through it. We also had various burgers, and the long chicken was actually the only one that was actually warm. I have no idea if the beef burgers were left out longer, but they were so cool that the chedder hadn't even melted. International lunch menu with significant quality issues. Orders had to be placed at the counter; there was no table service. Napkins were not available in the dispenser, a trash can was overflowing, and trays were not cleared away by either guests or staff. It's a branch if you have no taste and are blind. The staff makes it clear they don't want to be there. A very bad experience at Burger King. We ordered at 6:50 PM and waited 10 minutes for our food. We ate the fries first, and around 7:10 PM we wanted to start on the burgers, which turned out to be ice cold. It was awful, the bun looked awful, swimming in sauce. And the cheese on my friend's burger wasn't even melted.

It was 11:15 p.m., the doors were already closed; we only got in because people were leaving from the inside. At 11:20 p.m., the ordering counters were turned off. Extremely unfriendly, the bacon on my burger was half-raw... never again!

The outside of the serving window is truly horribly dirty. It clearly hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. You have to stare at it while waiting for your food, which isn't pleasant.
