Nice tasty burgers under 9 euros

I placed an order for 6 people, and I know that when you place a large order, it usually takes a long time. When I finally received the order, the boxes weren't checked, and they're not there for no reason, so we had to search for what was what. Unfortunately, the burgers weren't warm anymore.

Cold (but still tasty) burger and tiny, almost lukewarm milkshake for 20 euros: I find that quite rude.

Just been here. Ordered a beef burger, but the beef wasn't cooked properly. It happens, of course, but after pointing this out, the lady cooking it disagreed (it was clear the burger wasn't cooked properly). She said this burger should be cooked that way. Well, I'm pretty sure this burger isn't supposed to be that way. Then, with a nasty look on her face, they offered me a new burger. I opted for the crispy chicken. And then they rudely asked, "Do you think this is cooked properly????" The staff is awful.

Canceling an order isn't a problem. But it is if you wait 30 minutes before canceling!

Too long a wait for 4 burgers! A fast food restaurant where you have to wait 40 minutes for your order.

Pulled beef brisket fries is a must have! Delicious. Burgers - spicy one not so good. Original school one was great. Would recommend.

Been sick for 2 days from eating at this place

Yesterday we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. And it wasn't because it was busy. The ladies in the kitchen had no idea what they were doing. All the orders were mixed up, so they forgot half of them and the order was wrong. When we asked where our food was, the only answer we got was that they couldn't do anything about it. NEVER AGAIN

The burger and the sauce were delicious.

Ordered food on Thuisbezorg.nl. The food took a long time to make and showed up 40 minutes later than expected to, which was not the delivery man’s fault. We ordered burgers which were fine although one of them had hot sauce in it for some reason. We ordered regular fries and it came with bacon and peanut sauce mushed in it. Also the small fries didn’t even come with what we ordered. Do not recommend that you order from them.

Nice Pakistani guy behind the counter. I ordered a burger and loaded fries. While the fries were dry without the piri piri sauce, the burger was really on spot! I had a better experience here compared to the one I tried in Oost.

My favorite burger place, i wanted to make my order online today. So i went to their website so they don’t have to pay any commission to any app. To my surprise that prices on their website is more expensive than on other apps. How is that possible? Should not it be the other way around?

Normally my go 2 place for a hallal burger but last visit there was nothing “hallal” about this place! The cashier guy was totally drugged out! To the extreme he was staring or had his eyes closed while barely communicating! There was another guy there to step in but what the hell?! If i was the owner/ co-worker and didnt have staff then just close the place for the day in stead of having this drugged out filthy guy behind the counter that ruined this place/reputation! I walked away and end up not ordering i do not trust them with my food anymore, they used to have nice staff (young boys/girls) working there such a loss.

This was really a disappointment The hot dog tasted like a cheap sausage for a much too high price. Not all the fries were warm and the milkshake was really watery. In addition to this, someone (I think the owner or employer) was having some kind of performance review with an employee. It sounded very unpleasant and uncomfortable. You wouldn't do this in your business at a loud volume if there were customers in the business, would you?

Homemade fries delicious burger I recommend

Loaded fries were very good. The ‘large portion’ should be bigger.

I placed an order and part of it was not delivered! Contacted by telephone and simply no answer. Bad service, because the burgers and fries were very tasty. But I paid too much for items that were not delivered! Advice: check your order at the door! And advice to burger n shake: check an order before sending it out!

The food itself was tasty, but my milkshake was not shaken, just some kind of disgusting chocolate milk. The door was ajar the whole time and the music was way too loud.

The Brooklyn Burger itself was rather average and didn't particularly impress in terms of taste. In contrast, the fries were outstanding: crispy, fresh and perfectly cooked. The ketchup that was served with it also went well and rounded off the overall picture. The vanilla milkshake was another highlight, with a pleasant consistency and an intense, balanced taste. While the side dishes and the shake were convincing, I would have expected more from the burger.

Came to Amsterdam on holiday and fell across this place on our way to Amaze and what can we say. The best burger we have ever tasted. Freshly cooked to perfection. Saved to our favourites to come back again very soon.

Burger 'n Shake has really tasty burgers that taste great. The fries are freshly cut and taste really good – a real treat. The milkshake, on the other hand, was more reminiscent of cold frothed milk, in my case with cocoa. Although the consistency wasn't the classic milkshake, the chocolaty taste was still satisfying. Overall, Burger 'n Shake offers a good selection of tasty dishes, with the burgers and fries being particularly noteworthy.

The staff were really helpful and nice. We ordered a coconut milkshake (really good - 6€ for a medium) and a Chimichurri burger (I enjoy spicy but this just tasted spicy, and had little deep good flavour above and beyond )and q Brooklyn burger (this was good but the sauce was very basic, creamy). The burgers were about 8€ one. Overall, the service and milkshake was excellent bit the burgers were just a bit average in taste for my personal taste. Would recommend trying it though to see if the flavours work for you.

Best burgers I have eaten in a long time, the Old School and the Brooklyn Burger are highly recommended and the milkshakes are very tasty and the smoothies are delicious. The fries are always freshly made and my big tip is: get the fries with Belgian mayonnaise!!! The service is always nice and the waiting time is very low. It is not recommended to order alone, but that is the case with all burgers. The atmosphere is quite okay with good lighting and stylish and unique decor. And very suitable for young and old. Really a nice and good tent!!!

Finally ate some really tasty burgers again. What a difference with those big chains. The fries are also delicious, made from real potatoes, as they should be.

The food was delicious. I tried the Brooklyn burger and the fries, and they were also delicious. I recommend trying the restaurant, and if I return to Amsterdam, I won't hesitate to visit it again. Just a small note, I wish the guy behind the counter would smile.

Food was fine, one of the loaded fries was labeled as spicy, but so extremely spicy that I lost my taste for over a week. Idk why but have a feeling they made it extra spicy on purpose (read further in post). Moreover: we walked into the restaurant wearing Indian jewelry (which looks a bit alternative/feminine) as guys and instantly felt very uncomfortable by the staff. Felt more like we were in a shisha lounge then a restaurant. Staff kept gossiping and laughing, looking at us etc. Guys helping us weren’t friendly and also treated our female friend weirdly. For a place in Amsterdam (a city known for its diversity and people being themselves) this place felt very uninviting and we’ll definitely not visit it again.

Burger was ok,burger patty has little fat in it so it’s a little dry. Loaded fries is not good. No way those fries are fresh.I think they put some old fries with cheese on top in the microwave because that is what you do when it’s almost closing time!

Fantastic food, but when your girl tells you the guy behind the counter keeps looking at me in a weird way, you get disappointed.

Staff was so helpful and kind. The prices were affordable. Each burger were 7.75 and drinks were 2.75. I didn’t really like the meet inside the burger. Overall atmosphere was nice & cool.

BEST BURGER EVER Perfect consistency and juiciness of the meat, and the potatoes with cheese and bacon were the cherry on top!

Not precisely the best in costumer service, but they deliver a great burger. Wouldn’t be my first choice but if you are nearby and hungry, definitely check it out. Really clean restrooms and multiple locations throughout the city, which is convenient when looking for places with a certain food quality.

Chimichuri burger is spicy and simply leker! Fries are amazing as well, and portion size is pretty decent.

De tent trok me meteen aan, van buiten en binnen. Ik had besteld en Viola, het was binnen een No-time klaar. Het is super lekker! En ga er zeker nog vaker komen!!

Wenn wir nicht solchen Hunger gehabt hätten, wären wir vermutlich nicht reingegangen, denn das Lokal hat uns nicht so sehr angesprochen. An der Theke dauerte es etwas, bevor wir bestellen konnten, das Personal war noch untereinander im Gespräch 😉 Aber die Burger waren 1a und die Pommes sogar frisch handgeschnitten und nicht fertig und vorfritiert aus der Tüte und dadurch mega lecker. Das machte alles andere wett!

As far as fast food burgers go it's good. The fries are good too. Nothing amazing but it's worth going to if you feel like a decent burger a level above mc d, burger king etc. Prices are reasonable.
