Café 1st Grade B.V. in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

I often come here with customers for a fun evening. Unfortunately, as you can read in another review, an employee who resembles Lil' Kleine is a real tyrant who ruins the place. He's not a great bartender and always a bit grumpy. If you don't like working here, quit your job. If you do like it, project it, or work in the back of the warehouse or the basement—somewhere you have NO customer contact. People generally come there to have a good time and pay plenty for drinks as it is.

Bad experience at Eerste rang in Almere Stad. I was here yesterday with a friend, and we were treated rudely by a bartender who was clearly intoxicated. He tried to walk between the bar and the DJ, even though there's no exit. The only exit behind the bar is on the right, yet he acted like we were the problem. I'm 39 and hardly ever go here, but it's always the same: lots of young people, lots of drug use, and even bartenders who don't seem professional. The only positive is the security guards, who are thankfully friendly. Not recommended.

I regularly visit Eerste Rang Almere, often alone, and spend between €100 and €500 per evening. I always tip generously and have always tried to treat the staff respectfully. That's precisely why it's all the more striking that several employees consistently act unfriendly, intimidating, and unprofessional. One of the employees – recognizable because he resembles Lil' Kleine – stands out the most. Even when I consciously try to avoid his behavior, he continues to stare at me from a distance, addresses me harshly ("What would you like to order? What's on offer?"), and adopts an attitude that is completely out of keeping with hospitality. When I indicated that I'd rather not be helped by him, he chose to pass this on to a colleague with whom I always had good contact. This deliberately exacerbated the situation, while I was simply trying to avoid an uncomfortable interaction. This is a way of working that is not only unprofessional but also completely disproportionate to how a guest should be treated. It's important to note that this wasn't the first time. I've witnessed this behavior from several of his colleagues, and this is the second time it's actually negatively impacted my evening. For a business that thrives on hospitality, and where regular guests spend a significant amount of money, this level of attitude and behavior is simply unacceptable. Based on this, I can only give one star. If management values ​​returning guests, serious training in customer service and professional conduct is essential.

Last Friday I was at Café Eerste Rang, and doorman Mario was incredibly friendly. He immediately gave us a warm welcome and cracked some funny jokes during the bag check, making us feel comfortable and safe. Unfortunately, I can't be as positive about the other doormen; they should really learn from Mario's hospitality.

I was practically carried out of this "wonderful" establishment, despite the fact that, apparently, everyone I met there was in the same condition, if not worse. I'm terribly disappointed. I never want to come here again.

I was declined to enter because I am not Dutch Person , these people should not operate , human rights are not respected , the worst experience ever, I recommend that all expats people from Almere to go there too see their rights are not respected by security people. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN SUCH PLACES

Denied entry tonight at Café 1st Rang for not having a Dutch passport, despite holding a valid EU ID. No clear reason, no apology. Discriminatory and unacceptable. Reported to police and anti-discrimination authorities.

Please note that if you want to have a drink here, you also have to pay for the toilets!!! We were very surprised by the service! The gentleman was not only very friendly, but our drinks were also brought very quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were satisfied. When paying, we also gave a rather large tip, for just a few drinks. After paying, we wanted to pee before we went home. And then they asked for money again. I indicated that we were sitting on the terrace, but the lady didn't care. Stunned and dissatisfied, we paid. Because yes, I really had to pee. But if we had known this earlier, we would of course have given less tip... This was a bit of a disappointment for us.

I want to ask if I should finish my drink now or not he just takes my drink and throws it away

Best place! And very tasty tea is here! Highly recomended place.

This is the worst place ever in almere and maybe in the whole Netherlands I was just trying to get in with my dutch friend and the security guards did not let us in, they said that we drank so much even though we were super sober ( not to mention the people who were drinking beer on the entrance and they just got in smoothly , but maybe because i have black hair, it was an obvious discrimination, with pain in my heart, i can say that this the first time i was hit outside the bar for doing literally nothing wrong, i am just shocked about how we were treated and i am not gonna stay still about it, i wish if the owner of this place can see this review just to connect the dots and contact me because it was a terrible night for me and i am still in pain physically and emotionally, just had to write this review to let everyone know how things work in this terrible cafe

During liberation day we spent a few hundred euros there, but one of the staff members was not service oriented at all. Just grumpy, not customer friendly at all. When ordering, we had to hurry up because the gentleman was busy. Order for around 25 euros each time. Then the chairs were pulled out from under us. You can also give a warning. All in all a pleasant day, but that was not the fault of this employee.

Almere heeft weinig clubs(cafes), maar Cafe 1e rang is dan ook wel de beste van Almere!

Visited this place for coffee at around 14.30. I didn't have such a good cappuccino in a long time, will visit next time at night, to enjoy some drinks

Jammer dat er op socials geadverteerd wordt met Formule 1, maar geluid niet mogelijk is. Dat ligt niet aan het personeel, gastvriendelijk en vooraf duidelijk en eerlijk. Maak geen reclame voor iets dat je niet aanbiedt. Tweede ster voor het vriendelijke personeel, anders was het er 1 geweest.

Bierwinst glazen, vaasjes 25cl verkopen om vervolgens 20cl bierwinst glas te krijgen

Bonnetje van mijn jas kwijtgeraakt en door het personeel heel respectloos toegesproken. Werd behandeld als een herrieschopper terwijl ik enkel mijn jas terug wilde en hun rustig probeerde te benaderen.

Gezellig en lekker los! Mensen achter de bar en de dj hebben goeie humor. Prijzen zijn redelijk. Vooral leuk met kleine groepjes.

Nice bar on the Grote Markt of Almere, bar tender was great for conversation during quiet hours.
