Good food, friendly service, lots of options and nice atmosphere

Had a delicious meal at Drewes, the coffee is always made with love for me 😌

Went to Almeerplant today for the Christmas spirit. Beautiful!! Around 12:30 we wanted to eat something in the restaurant. I ordered a healthy sandwich, without ham, mayonnaise, or dressing. The girl making my sandwich put mayonnaise and dressing on it. So I walked over and asked if that was my sandwich, and she said yes. I told her I ordered without mayonnaise and dressing, and she said she hadn't understood that. Fine, it happens. An older colleague of hers came over and made my "new" sandwich, with the same filling as the "wrong" sandwich, so with mayonnaise and dressing residue. Terrible!! I even scraped it off myself. If I had been allergic to these products, you would have had a huge problem right now! Extremely poor service; they should have made a whole new sandwich. The buttermilk in the refrigerator was also past its expiration date. We did get a new one, but only after it had already been consumed.

Very unpleasant service. After i ordered food, coffe, 2 drinks and a icecream they refused to give me a glass of tap water.

I've always been satisfied with the quality of Drewes. But today, we were quite disappointed. Our coffees were overly sweet, with barely any milk foam on them; it simply didn't look appetizing. The muffin I had was very dry; I didn't eat it. And finally, my partner had a hair in his cherry bavarois and strawberry jam on top, which shouldn't be on a cherry bavarois. My partner is very critical, as he's a pastry chef. We returned the bavarois, but we received a piece of the same cake back. We hope the quality will be better next time, and for the price, it should be.

The prices here are skyrocketing, and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Calling a slice of bread with toppings for €8.25 a special offer is outrageous. Moreover, the new furniture hasn't exactly contributed to the atmosphere. The tables and chairs are so close together, you can hear everyone's conversation. With my walker, it's awful having to bother people because I can't get past them. They really need to work on the prices and layout.

We had paninis here. To our surprise, they weren't freshly made, but rather pre-made ones from the refrigerator. When I saw it, I thought it was strange, but I assumed they knew what they were doing. But unfortunately, they weren't very tasty, a bit soggy... Edible, but tasty, no... If you can't make something as simple as a panini fresh, maybe they shouldn't be on the menu...🙈

The cafe is nice and the food is delicious, but the staff definitely can be improved. Namely, someone Maaike, who imagined herself to be the queen of the kitchen. She didn't like the way we asked her why the kitchen is closed one hour before the closing time. After that she attacked us in rude aggressive way in the presence of our kids. The only thing she had to do is to warm up an apple crumble but she decided to close the kitchen at 4 pm, while the cafe is open until 5 pm. There is nowhere information that the kitchen is closing at 4 pm. I know the owners of the cafe via via, I was always glad to support their small business, but it's so sad to see that the owners/management pay little attention to train the staff how to deal with the customers.

Als je na ongeveer een half uur je patat & hamburger ontvangt dan verwacht je kwaliteit en alles vers bereid, in dit geval een supermarkt -goedkope- hamburger en mega vette ranzige friet. Toen we aangaven dat het eten niet zo lekker was want we vriendelijk bedankt want als niemand klacht dan weten we het ook niet.... eh misschien soms even zelf proeven en tijdig het ver van de frituur vervangen?! Hier eten wij nooit meer dat is duidelijk

Drewes was al een bekend begrip in Almere City Mall en dat is al van zeer goede kwaliteit. Ook omdat dit de koffie en thee speciaalzaak is waar je uiteenlopende soorten kan kopen. Bediening is van zeer goede kwaliteit.Je hebt hier het gevoel als of je in de huiskamer zit. Drewes is enige jaren terug ook binnen Almeerplant gekomen met een soortgelijke gelegenheid. Hier is de keuze van losse koffie en thee kopen beperkter omdat dit het karakter heeft van een soort lunchroom waar dan ook de kwaliteit weer van zeer goed niveau is.

De produkten zijn prima. Het probleem zit hem in de ongeinteresseerde bediening. Tijdens ons laatste bezoek stonden er maar liefst 5 of 6 jonge meisjes - lees kirrende pubers - in de keuken. Bij aankomst (ca. 15u30) stonden de dames uitgebreid te kletsen en lachen met elkaar met de rug naar de balie. Met ons 4 andere wachtenden. Een van de dames keek ons even aan, maar ging daarna verder met kletsen en wat vegen met een doekje. Een andere dame knikte haar toe ons te helpen. Onwillig stapte ze naar voren met de vraag of ze ons kon helpen. Ja graag... 2 smoothies en 1 apple crumble. Ze antwoordde: "voor eten en drinken moet u bij mijn collega zijn" . Huh??? Daarna mochten we onze bestelling nog 3x herhalen, want telkens bij verkeerde persoon (hoe moet ik weten bij wie ik moet zijn als niemand geintereseerd is om ons te helpen?). Vervolgens moesten we ook nog 15min wachten op het appeltaartje wat we zelf mochten gaan halen aan de balie. De slagroom bleek niet geklopt/geschud. Wij hebben hier vaak tijdens ons bezoek aan AlmeerPlant gegeten en gedronken, maar de ervaringen van de laatste drie maanden hebben de deur dichtgedaan. Erg jammer. Overigens is de zaak in centrum van Almere wel goed.

Dit keer gegaan voor een broodje kipfilet met (pittige) mango chutney. Attente bediening : de dame vertelde ons dat de chutney wel erg pittig was en dat het verstandig was om eerst een beetje te proeven. Inderdaad een vrij pittige maar wel lekkere chutney. Lekker broodje vers gebakken( trouwens tosti’s ook erg goed). Bezoekje moeite waard

Bezoekt u tuincentrum Almeerplant wel eens, sla dan de koffiecorner niet over. Voor een fantastische cappuccino en een heerlijk broodje komt u hier even tot rust. Alles zelf ambachtelijk gemaakt. Tijdens ons laatste bezoek genoten van een broodje kaassalade en zelf gemaakte filet americain. Echt een keer doen. Voor ons een dikke tien en nog redelijk geprijsd ook.
