Café Biljart De Zaak in St. Marten/Sonsbeek

What is wrong with this place? I just ordered drinks for 5 people and the security thinks it's okay to just ask where I'm from? Dutch passport with curls, just act normal and find another job.

I don't think it's permanently closed.

This is an amazing cafe - the owner and staff are so friendly, it is full of the most interesting books, and both the interior and terrace are fantastic spaces to spend time, chat, work, think, anything. Especially recommend the espresso tonic drinks or the specialty lemonades. I can’t wait to return to Arnhem so I can go to this cafe again.

Very bad. No sauce with the spare ribs. Fries cold, very hard, and too brown. Salad was sitting in liquid. So, never ordering there again.

Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience with this club. During my visit, personal information about me was shared without my consent, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Later, I was told by the owner that he could not protect me in certain situations if problems were to arise. I had expected more professionalism, discretion, and respect towards guests. Everyone should be able to feel safe and welcome. Therefore, this was a disappointing experience for me.
