Café Centraal in Wijk 10 Breskens

Had a delicious meal at Buurman/Centraal Breskens. Nice and relaxed, friendly service. Yesterday at the Philippine mussel bank, today invited by my neighbor in Breskens.... fantastic!

Food was mid. Service was great.

The café owner still has a lot to learn when it comes to customer friendliness. Questions are answered in an arrogant manner. It is fine that it is busy, but basic politeness shouldn't be difficult. The rest of the bar staff are, so the owner still has a lot to learn from her staff. Do better.

Wow, amazing woman behind the bar!! Can't laugh about anything, serves the beer “with a smile” the younger bartenders they are totally okay!

Just like the one who had a bad experience with the owner. I was treated disrespectfully by him. My advice: avoid this place!

On this sunny day, we had a lovely meal with a club of 10. Friendly service and everything perfectly under control. The interior is also beautifully decorated 👌🏻 simply highly recommended!

Stopped by this week to enjoy an Aperol Sprits, our favorite drink; the price for this was €8.00, which is absolutely not too expensive. But the drink, whatever it may have been, didn't come close to Aperol. It tasted quite nasty. When we pointed out to the waiter that there might be something wrong with the recipe, we were told that it came from the tap and that they hear that quite often. Now, we often go to places where the Aperol Sprits comes ready-made from the tap and is actually tasty. This was 100% not Aperol. However, there were original Aperol bottles proudly displayed behind the bar.

I ordered a pasta, my partner a salad. The menu states that the main courses are served with fries... The waiter immediately says... Fries or bread. My partner ordered fries with her salad, I in turn asked for bread with my pasta. I see a supplement of 2.5 euros for bread on the bill. I ask the waiter if this is correct given the statement on the menu ''all main courses''... and her specific statement that it would be fries or bread. She said that this does not apply to pasta... And that in that case you suddenly have to pay a supplement of 2.5 euros for bread. To keep things cozy, I paid the bill without discussion.

Nice place, A café latte for 4 euros is probably cheap here. Otherwise close to the sea, easily accessible on foot.

Just had two rustic sandwiches with carpaccio and truffle mayonnaise, etc. It was delicious, but I could have had a bit more carpaccio. The wine was excellent, by the way.

the service staff were very attentive and polite. the burger was solid and couldn't fault it. the radiant heaters in the outdoor area make it more than pleasant to sit and enjoy until late in the evening. we will be back.

als je 4,50 voor n muntthee vraagt mag er wel n schijfje citroen in en honing ipv suiker erbij gedaan worden. cola was niet voldoende gekoeld.

Lekker gegeten, konden binnen eten kwam heeel goed uit ivm de warmte en hadden ook geen last van paffende gasten en er was airco. Prima bediening.

Nu ligt er eens een prijslijst meet de ptijze´ zijn niet juist...😩 2 Heineken medium à 3,7 Euro op de kaart en moeten 4 Euro betalen...😲 Mijn Heineken smaakte dadelijk minder lekker 😩

Vandaag een fietstocht gepland van Nieuwvliet-Bad naar Breskens. 'sMiddags een plaats gezicht om te lunchen en Café Centraal beviel ons wel. Eerst een mocktail, Coconut kiss en fruit punch, gevolgd door een lekkere maaltijd, huisgemaakte garnaalkroketten, Zeebaarsfilet met courgette, zeekraal, tomaat, garnalenjus en frietjes. Afgerond met een tas koffie. Lekker gegeten. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Druk bezochte.
