Everyone feels welcome at Frits & Anja! The menu and prices are in line with the image of a real Hague coffee house. And nice to know: Frits' mother still makes the soups herself!

I really enjoy the bagels here! However one time I came to pickup my order at 3pm and decided to sit in to hide from the heat (it was around 30 degrees outside). The employees started acting weird, telling me they were closed/about to close even though they were 1 hour away from the actual closing time?? Then (and this is just my perspective) I felt like the staff was eyeing me the entire time I ate my bagel until I finished and left. Very awkward experience in general. I will be coming back for the bagels only and definitely not for the vibe of the shop.
