Very engaging people 😀 Served quickly and the food is delicious. Prepared with love. A good conversation is always possible. People with their hearts in the right place. Definitely a brasserie to make you laugh. I know what I'm talking about; I have been a customer since I was a teenager and that was a long time ago. Watching sports is possible and so is requesting music. You can dance, in other words, you can do a lot. Highly recommended, customers even come from here and there.

Kibbeling gegeten met frietjes, zeer lekker. Sympathieke bediening, gezellige kroeg. Je hebt keuze uit voldoende gerechten en biertjes. Verwacht geen hoogstaande cuisine, maar eerlijke keuken.

Had a cup of coffee during the day. At that moment it felt like an old brown pub. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. A table was immediately made available for us. Coffee was tasty and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Considering the review, I decided to have a bite to eat in the evenings.

leuk café, maar de patron werkt ook in de keuken, dus staat er zelden iemand achter de toog, bediening van het terras, beter binnen afhalen. slechts één biertje van het vat, Jupiler. hmmmm

Cafe “the big sip” Visited on a quiet afternoon. Quickly served on the terrace, order on the table quickly. Cozy and friendly atmosphere & service. Homemade soup, tasted good. Experience is that every now and then a car drives past (through the) terrace, but also motorcyclists who think they have to give full throttle. So you cannot let children go for a while in the otherwise quiet street.

Wat een teleurstelling was dit, zeg. Vast en zeker een prima plek om iets te drinken, maar zeker niet om te eten. Ik had het al moeten weten toen ik de kaart zag, maar we hadden geen zin om ergens anders naartoe te gaan. We bestelden saté en ossenhaaspuntjes in rode wijnsaus. De rode wijnsaus was extreem zout en leek in de verste verte niet op wat men als rode wijnsaus kent. Bij navraag of dit wel echt rode wijnsaus was, kregen we als antwoord dat er echt wel rode wijn in zit. Het zal wel, maar dat maakt de saus niet automatisch lekker. De saté was nog teleurstellender. Grote brokken kip die bedolven waren onder de pindasaus die zo te proeven direct uit de kant-en-klare emmer was geschept en opgewarmd. De salade op het bord was nog het beste van de hele maaltijd. De frietjes die bij de gerechten werden geserveerd waren ook slecht gebakken. Ik heb voor het eerst sinds lange tijd mijn eten voor het overgrote gedeelte laten staan. De ober voreg niet eens of het had gesmaakt, maar ruimde het bord gewoon op. Wat is dit zonde voor een terras op een leuke plek. Ik ga hier nooit meer naartoe.

En paar kroketjes en een soepje. 3 drankjes bijna €30. Best wel duur voor een overvallen kroket op een witte boterham met een rare mosterdsubstantie. Rare groentjes ook. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Delicious food. Friendly service. And toilets nothing to complain about! Worth a stop for a nice meal. Of course there are better restaurants in the area with a name and a Michelin star. You can go there too! But we're frugal, eh.

Nicely decorated café with a nice menu. Price, quantity and quality were not in proportion. Price for Schnitzel is very high when you ultimately see what you get for it. Food was ok but very sparsely prepared.

we zijn hier terrecht gekomen rond de middag en besloten om een snackje te eten. een groot terras buiten en gezellig om te zitten. het eten was lekker maar de bediening verliep traag. er was maar een persoon voor zo een groot terras. die persoon wist niet waar eerst lopen. dat was jammer. we hebben er twee uur gezeten voor een spaghetti en een ice tea. gelukkig hadden we tijd en was het mooi weer
