Nice, friendly, and professional service.

We ordered some fries with parmesan, but they weren't very good since they lacked sauce to dip and the parmesan was whole. On the other hand, the nachos were really good, with lots of sauce and well toasted, recommended. The service was sufficient: they were attentive and always asked if you wanted more drinks (sometimes one for the dough). They weren't very friendly either. If I had to say something to improve, it would be this. To finish, we asked for tap water, and they brought us a 0'2l glass bottle for €3.50. A shame as a house. A place to have a bite, but don't ask for water!!!

Nice spot, but unfortunately there isn't a smoke-free terrace (section) yet. The dining experience was negatively affected by this. And here too, they are participating in the Dutch trend of calling Weißenbier "witbier." How do you explain Dunkelweißen then? Otherwise, the staff is friendly and usually attentive. The food was quite tasty, but I expect the yolk in a poached steak to still be largely runny.

Just had a drink on the outdoor terrace, but it was such a nice place to sit. Very cozy, and the tall waitress with dark hair really stood out. She does her job so well and with such enthusiasm. She kept an eye on everything and was very friendly. Top-notch.

A lovely restaurant with an ideal location near the Markt. The terrace overlooks the canals, creating a charming setting. The food is good and the portions are generous. Vegetarians will also find plenty to enjoy. The restaurant offers homemade lemonades: the cucumber one is truly unique and refreshing! The service is quite good, although a little more patience when taking our order would have been appreciated (we don't speak many foreign languages, which usually slows down our requests).

It's great to see that the menu has vegan options! Although I think they could be just slightly more appealing. After all, no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on lentils and quinoa, right? Still, this shows that Cafe de Wijnhaven is inclusive, responsible, and progressive. Keep up the good work!

A great spot in a buzzing area, we only stopped for a drink but then noticed the food coming out and decided to stay for a meal, very impressed with the quality of food and great beer! The beef carpaccio salad was really delicious, what a lovely combination! Lovely staff and friendly service

Nice outing with colleagues. Wide options for any type of drinks, beers, cocktails and great food selection, also several vegan options. I loved the quinoa salad, compact, full, with a very tasty humus.

Service was fast, friendly and accurate. Food on the level i expect for a place like this (and i'm often disappointed). Beer collection surprised me. No haute cuisine, no beer enthousiast heaven, just one firm level up compared to the average city terrace. I will come back here for sure!

A really lovely location, and you can sit outside right by the canal – a great spot in Delft's old town. The food was delicious, and the homemade lemonades were good too. I think we'll come back, maybe next time for a relaxing glass of wine ☺️

Good place for dinner. The kitchen closes at 10 pm, which isn't so common in this country, so it's convenient for us Spaniards.

We sat lovely in the sunshine. Had something to drink and eat. The truffle cheese flamkuchen with mushrooms and spring onions is highly recommended.

Very nice staff, it was very busy upstairs. The noise level from 2 groups was extremely high. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very warm anymore. The carpaccio was very tasty, but the ribs were disappointing in my opinion.

Our favorite place to visit in Delft! This place serves a "Sate" as you would want to see it everywhere. The skewered chicken is juicy, the peanut sauce is nicely spiced and everything else on the plate was top notch. Go here for good food, great atmosphere and great service!

On a sunny Saturday, we enjoyed a drink and a charcuterie board in this traditional pub. We had a wonderful time sitting here right by the window, the perfect spot to catch up.

We had Moules et Frites! The mussels were good; prepared in the Thai style. We liked the fries less: not crispy. Cozy, casual atmosphere, as befits a casual eatery.

Both the food and the wines are top-notch!!! The staff is just as it should be: efficient, cheerful, and friendly 👌👌 I will definitely be back

Cozy atmosphere on the terrace in the middle of historic Delft

This is the best place in Delft, I've been coming here whenever I'm in Delft for the last 10+ years.

I am in the lucky position to go out for dinner fairly often with international travel for work for 30 years but I can safely say this was one of the most fabulous meals I have had! Fingerlicking good! Not a super big portion but then again: isn't that better?! Long live Hari hachi bu. And the service: superB too!

We had the drinks platter with our daughter (11). It was cozy, delicious, and the service was friendly. There was a nice selection of beers, and the young lady had a good selection of homemade lemonades, etc.

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and always friendly service. A great lunch menu, and hopefully, patio seating will be back soon!

We had a work party there. We rented the top floor. Great atmosphere. Delicious snacks, including vegetarian options, of course. It was a successful party. There was music in the background, but who knows, maybe we could have controlled that. The staff took a group photo.

Went here for a special occasion with a group of 10. Unfortunately, we were very dissapointed. Our order was wrong multiple times and we had to wait for more than 1,5 hours …. when we complained they were not helpful or hospitable at all. very dissapointed but the food we did get was not bad. luckily the people I was with made up for it xx Russell

I recently had lunch here with a friend. The food itself was good, but on the terrace, I was constantly bothered by wasps. They landed on my food and wouldn't leave. This made me not want to eat my food anymore. I finally went inside and reported it to the staff. Unfortunately, the staff reacted indifferently and were very unfriendly. This made for a rather unpleasant afternoon.

Settled on a busy corner, this café is made for those who love to watch the world go by. We enjoyed a spread of dishes: smoked salmon, and pastrami sandwiches, a tomato soep, Korean fries, and the daily bread with shrimp kroketjes — each one fresh, and generously portioned. The staff was warm and efficient. The terrace, while offering a fantastic view of city life in motion, comes with a slight tilt and wobbly tables, making it better for a quick lunch stop than a long, lazy afternoon.

Great food, friendly staff. What struck us was the lack of company attire. No T-shirts, and no dress code either. So, short skirts, crop tops, and all sorts of things were there, but not properly dressed.

We've been here for drinks twice. The first time was great: a nice terrace, friendly girls working outside... However, when we went a second time, we heard the man behind the bar shouting loudly at a customer who said he'd gotten the wrong order. We don't know who was right, but when we hear someone shouting outside, we find this unacceptable. (Even though the customer was saying this in a normal tone of voice.) We thought this was a real shame, because the first time, it was a pleasant café.

Iced capuccino is served out of a can, without warning and unable to be changed. Great location, rude staff (not the waitress)

Cozy and beautiful old café... first we sat outside on the terrace and then inside. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with friendly staff who exude a cheerful and cheerful atmosphere with a keen chat and know how to work. The food was delicious and there was a great "Uiltje" on tap. It could have been a bit colder, but otherwise, it was excellent. When we return to Delft, we will definitely be back.

This proved to be an excellent choice for a recent lunchtime visit. Despite being incredibly busy, the experience was remarkably smooth thanks to their quick and organized service. It's clear the staff here are masters of efficiency! The menu offered plenty of choice, catering to various tastes. A definite highlight was the hot dogs – absolutely amazing and so tasty! In fact, everyone at our table thoroughly cleaned their plates, a testament to the delicious food. What truly set Café De Wijnhaven apart, however, was the super friendly and accommodating staff. One of our party was celiac, and despite the bustling atmosphere, the team had no problem repeatedly checking with the kitchen about gluten-free options. Their patience and dedication to ensuring a safe and enjoyable meal for everyone, even when swamped, was genuinely impressive. If you're looking for a delicious lunch in Delft with fantastic service, even during peak hours, Café De Wijnhaven comes highly recommended.

A very cozy place to be together and drink and eat, watch the most diverse types of people from all over the world, I always get a pleasant "I'm at home here" feeling. Today September 15th lovely sunny day monument day, ate nachos and drank a beer! Many days lucky with the nice weather nice sitting on the terrace, fast service and a nice chat with the staff! Had a nice evening here for the 20th anniversary of our karate club, with various guests from outside Delft. Everyone thought it was a cozy cafe with good food and drinks. The Wijnhaven staff was also flexible in the preparation. Top experience!

I absolutely adore this place and its staff. They really made the experience of having drinks here. They were on the ball (took our drinks/order very seriously), checked up on us often and had a good laugh with us! I'm very excited to come back here, and even planning to choose this place for my birthday celebration! P.s, the cocktails are absolutely to DIE for!

I went there with my family, they seemed to like it, but I have something to say. First, they forgot to break the fried potatoes, it's not terrible, but we had a small child and she was waiting for her. I can also say a plus, we couldn't choose what to order, the waitress helped us make a selection, she was friendly and treated the child well. The food took a long time to cook, it was tasty and the portions were big, but the beef was a bit tough for me, but everything else was very tasty. There are blankets to cover yourself with, which is a huge plus. It's very windy there, and if it wasn't for them, we must have gone somewhere.
