Great spot for a bite to eat and a drink. Friendly staff, and the lunch is simply delicious.

For an easy bite and drink with a large group, without to much hassle this is one of the best places to go:)

I don't know what's going on here, but the service is downright grumpy. I ordered drinks beforehand, and the menu looked good. I've had lunch here twice before. But now the atmosphere between the staff and the customers is really antisocial. That slightly older woman seems to have issues and is struggling either with herself or with the other staff, but the staff is also snappy. Oh well, she got up and left. A shame, but that's not what we pay for, is it?

We made a reservation for two people tonight, November 8th, but after 20 minutes of setting up, we received no attention or questions, so unfortunately, we left again. We were politely told we'd be gone, and we didn't get the impression anyone cared. Not a good advertisement, Mom! Too bad, we were really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, we left disappointed and ate at De Beren, where, despite being busy, they found a good solution, as they should!

Moeke's is a great place. The food is good, and the atmosphere is cozy. It was just very noisy tonight. But we had a great time with a group of six. We'll definitely be back.

Good place to go to meet friends for a drink and a meal. You know what you are going to get. Good service, a nice atmosphere so you can talk and hear each other with food that isn’t going to break the bank but is very much edible.

Cozy and lively. A lovely cafe, delicious food (a trio of game, sea bass, and the white chocolate cheesecake) paired with a lovely red wine.

Disinterested staff. We had to wait almost 10 minutes before they came to us. They waved frantically to get attention. The cappuccino was also lukewarm. We decided to eat somewhere else.

Disgraceful experience. Our waitress was downright rude: she only took one order for a table of two, walked away, and later slammed the cutlery on the table with a mocking "please." Then she openly pointed at us and gossiped with colleagues. Aggressive, demeaning, and completely unprofessional. We will never return—and advise others to spend their money somewhere where guests are treated with respect.

We've been coming here regularly and happily for years. But that's all changed. The new staff completely ruins the experience. They mostly just chat with each other, or with customers they know. Last Friday, after a long wait for drinks on a nearly empty terrace, we asked for the lunch menu. When I grabbed it myself 10 minutes later, I was met with a passive-aggressive "I can do that for you, you know!", after which I explained that her colleague had already done it 10 minutes ago. After that, they angrily took our order and didn't ask for any more drinks. The fun is gone. The food is delicious, but we're going to look for a new regular spot in Delft.

At the busy and overpriced animal market. The food is fine. The service is good, too. But it's really expensive. 45 euros for lunch for two people is really expensive. But unfortunately, they're no more expensive than the rest, because that's what it costs these days.

Just a lovely terrace at the Beestenmarkt. Lovely in the sunshine. Ordered nachos, and they were a real treat for two. So thumbs up in these times when portions are getting smaller and smaller. The wine was also excellent.

The satay van kippendij was very good; the chicken was juicy, and the satay sauce was flavored with plenty of peanuts. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. It was a perfect end to our visit to Delft. The next visit will follow soon.

Good staff, friendly and helpful. Nice location, of course, always good at the Beestenmarkt. The food was really mediocre/sufficient. The carpaccio could have had much more flavor, and the chicken thigh satay had far too little satay sauce and was expensive for three small sticks. Gin and tonics are basic; just a standard lemon or lime slice and ice cubes. They could have been a bit more playful, which is often the case in bars and restaurants. Plenty of gin, though. I thought it was expensive for the quality. But I think that's just because of the location. All in all, we had a nice evening.

I sat here for half an hour because I was joining my friends later. During that half hour, no one asked me if I wanted a drink. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait a very long time to get anyone's attention. My friends sat here for an hour and were only asked about drinks once.

I went here for dinner tonight with a group of 6 friends. I have no complaints about the food. Absolutely delicious!! Three people serving, only 1 of whom was friendly. The other two people were extremely unfriendly, one of whom was even rude! All 6 of us plan on never coming here again! Too bad.

With friends on Saturday 27 July 2024 we had a drink and a bite to eat on the terrace at Moeke. When we arrived around 2 pm the terrace was already full, but there was room. There are large trees on the terrace square so you are often sheltered from the sun. The waitresses that day were friendly and pleasant, although it sometimes took a while before we were helped. That did not spoil the fun and we all had a nice time on the terrace. The moekes share platter tasted good, the same goes for the bittergarnituur.

The food was plenty and tasted good. Unfortunately the burger and fries were a bit cold. Until we were finally able to order, things were a bit haywire, so we had to wait a long time and other guests could order before us. It was relatively loud.

Moeke in Delft – schnitzel, sun and a bit of a Dutch holiday feeling Anyone who says you can't eat well, watch people and get your vitamin D at the same time hasn't been to Moeke! Here you sit in the middle of Delft on the sunny side of life - between old trees, a church tower and nice hustle and bustle. I had the schnitzel. Gigantic. Crispy. With a lemon wedge that looked like it deserved its own seat. The mushroom sauce was…let’s call it charmingly understated. The fries, on the other hand, were very communicative – loud and crispy. My wife had the tarte flambée and wanted to exchange it for my fries (of course I heroically prevented it). Conclusion: Moeke is not a culinary gourmet temple - but a wonderfully relaxed place with honest food and an atmosphere that makes you almost forget that you actually just wanted to have a quick coffee. Clear recommendation for sun worshipers, schnitzel fans and everyone who likes to sit in the middle of life!

In the past I have been here with guests on average twice a week for lunch. Unfortunately - and I find this annoying to report - since there is a somewhat older, stout lady working in the service, I have decided to have lunch elsewhere with my guests. This lady has her own rules, is stiff and has no form of empathy whatsoever! Too bad, because the meatball is good!

If you sit outside and are cold and ask for heating, they will even turn on the patio heaters for you. It is clear that hospitality comes first and not money as at Belvedere on the corner.

Incompetent operation, sometimes even brutal. Starter in an excessive portion, main course okay but with the wrong price/quality ratio. Too expensive for a cafe.

The service was not friendly, when I asked a question I was more likely to get a sneer than a friendly answer. Not just once, but from start to finish. This lady was either not having her day or is like that. The food was great. Four varying dishes, but all really delicious! I definitely recommend it for the food. Busy place, hot chocolate with whipped cream was delicious. Real whipped cream is rare anymore. The food, on the other hand, disappointed us. Poached eggs were placed on cold avocado which cooled everything down quickly. The top of the chicken burger bun was burnt. Camembert salad was 70% mixed lettuce, half a stewed pear including core. Shame! The staff was friendly though.

After a tour in the city, I had lunch at Moeke Delft with my friend. The first time for us. Upon entering we choose a table and are immediately helped in a friendly manner. Cup of coffee and tea, followed by lunch, a delicious carpaccio with ciabata. Delicious! The decoration of the restaurant, the atmosphere, good service and the delicious food ensure that we will definitely come back 😁

Had dinner here on Boxing Day with a reservation. Friendly welcome by the employees. It was also clear that the operation was going well; everything was served quickly and you noticed that the employees worked well together. The food was okay, that's all. The two of us were placed at a round table where five people could sit around it, which was not very cozy. It was a pity that at one point guests who arrived were told that we would be leaving soon, so they took a seat opposite us and looked away. So we stood outside again 45 minutes after arrival with somewhat mixed feelings. Would go here again for a drink this summer, not for a (Christmas) dinner anymore.

When the weather is nice, you can sit among picturesque surroundings and feel like you are on vacation in southern Europe. However, the drinks prices are accordingly. The service is predominantly carried out by students. Trying but not necessarily competent.

It was very busy and we often had to wait a long time. Not a problem if you are in nice company, but in terms of atmosphere it was too busy and too crowded for me. Food was delicious!

Cozy place. We were warmly welcomed by a kind and polite girl who took us to our table. The food is good but the quantity is not the greatest for the cost of the dish. The wine is priced a little higher than that found in other restaurants in the city. There is no door to the kitchen and the staff wash the dishes talking loudly and we see all the movement. They could close the kitchen. The bathroom is not the cleanest.

This afternoon I sat here on the terrace with my friend. Despite the fact that we sometimes had to wait a while before we were helped, the food was definitely worth the wait. The food was really delicious, I had the Toast Avocado, which I was able to customize to my liking, and my friend had the 12 hour. Really enjoyed it! The hot chocolate is also recommended. We were also helped by two very nice ladies and young man. Really super attentive and friendly staff! They really made this experience much better with their good service :)

The food was fine. But the service was really not okay. People who come in later are helped sooner and even if they actually come by after calling twice, you order a drink and say that you want lunch, you have to keep beckoning again to get a card. Then it takes another 15 minutes before the food is even consumed. It's a shame that you go for lunch somewhere for a lot of money and that no one cares about you. It wasn't that busy either.
