It was terrible burgers cus they take ready-made burgers from another place and they bring it to their place, so they dont have their kichen, also the price was very high for that meal. Horrible experience. Dont recommend to others!!!

Terrible food and poor service. We ordered the English breakfast and American breakfast. Turned up cold, had to be sent back. Order got messed up. Sausages are cocktail ones, pancakes are processed, fried eggs were almost raw. Even the coffee tasted stale. Do yourself a favour and avoid - you will regret going in.

Food was okay. The service was good until we finished eating but still were drinking. They told us to finish numerous times until they brought people to our table and forced us to leave. We weren’t there for an hour and spent 90 euros to be kicked out for no good reason.

TOURIST TRAP! You get charged for drinks you didn't order. The food makes no sense. The menu has no concept. The pictures on the menu don't even come close to what you're served. All three of our dishes were incredibly tasteless, dry, unloving, and presumably like ready-made meals. We were given the wrong drinks. The waiters approach and entice everyone who walks by, even if they have food in their hands and are eating.

Absolutely horrible food! We ordered a burger and a ceacar salad. The salad was wet and bland, the tomatoes where mushy and it was overloaded with a cheese that definitely wasn’t parmesan . The burger was overall disappointing. The paddy was undercooked and equal to a shoe sole.

Best avoided. Service not great infact quite surly and unfriendly. Food was okay but surprise surprise on return home and checking the bill we were overcharged. Be very careful if you do eat in this place, you have been warned.

The tiramisu was disgusting, the coffee tasted like dirty water. Prices are absurdly high and the waiter was unbelievably rude. To make things worse, after eating there both my friend and I had stomach problems and acid reflux. One of the worst places I’ve ever been avoid at all costs!

The coffee and the cake were very bad. Coffee was more with water and a very small amount of real coffee and the cake tasted like from a supermarket. Never again. You're welcome, disaster, run far away. ❌

First, you're lured into the restaurant as you walk past. It's questionable, but we fell for it. The burger is terrible. The bread is dry, the meat is like coal. The nachos are simply smothered with various sauces, regardless of whether the customer likes them or not. Definitely not recommended.

This is not a good cafe and would not recommend. Went there recently, was nice on outside and had a large menu. Sat outside and was nice ambience. Went for a breakfast and some of the worse food came back. Ordered Scrambled eggs. They sent me out Fried eggs. When I told them it was wrong, they took the plate back to change it. Came back 2 mins later with ‘scrambled eggs’ which was obviously the fried eggs just mashed up. Sausages were not tasty, bacon was full of fat. Definitely did not get Moneys worth. Service was ok. Staff were ok and matter of fact without veering into Friendly. Avoid this place.

We celebrated my sister's bachelorette party in Amsterdam and chose this café, among others – a perfect choice! As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the waitress and served incredibly friendly. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately given our full attention. A special highlight: We were allowed to dance to songs of our choice, and were cheered on, applauded, and even joined in by the waitress, who sometimes joined in the dancing herself. The atmosphere was simply fantastic and made the evening unforgettable. The prices are a bit higher, but the atmosphere and the experience were absolutely worth it.

We sat outside. They took good care of us so we didn't have to sit in the sun. The staff were great. There was singing, dancing, and entertainment. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. The best spaghetti Bolognese in a long time!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. And we even got a Coke "sneaked in," but we didn't pay for it. We would definitely come back here.

Kind staff, nice drinks, can recommend mint tea with jasmine and they have the most tropical cocktails. Located at the centre is just great to relax after work.

We stopped by Cafe del Mondo for breakfast while waiting to check in to our hotel room. It had such friendly vibe. Inside is cozy. Outside has a nice view of Neumarket Square. Teresa was a wonderful hostess - so friendly and nice!

Had delicious food and even better beer. Staff was wonderful! Would come back definitely!

Café del Mondo en la animada zona Nieuwmarkt de Ámsterdam. La camarera sociable, charlando con cada mesa, creó un ambiente cálido y acogedor que atrajo a los clientes. Disfrutamos de las bitterballen Holandés : bolas crujientes y fritas con un relleno de ragú de carne cremoso y ligeramente a nuez. La hamburguesa clásica era jugosa y satisfactoria, ofreciendo comida buena y confiable. Aunque no es espectacular, la acogedora cafetería con mesas pequeñas se adapta a la energía bulliciosa de Nieuwmarkt. ¡Una opción sólida para una comida aceptable y sabrosa en una excelente ubicación!

I came to Amsterdam for work visit , I went to Cafe del Mondo which is very nice cafe , all staff are very professional, cheerful and welcoming especially Mr wagih and Mr sherif , they are serving a very tasty food and good service . I recommend this cafe to anyone who is planning to visit Amsterdam

We enjoyed a nice breakfast in a leisurely manner on a sunny morning. The restaurant staff warmly entertained every guest, and the chef took the initiative to greet us.

Desayunamos y fue la mejor comida que tuvimos en los tres días que hemos estado aquí. Casual y en una plaza. Asientos interiores y exteriores. Precios razonables. Nuestro servidor, Terizq, era muy amable y muy agradable para hablar.

Här får du vänta länge på service, beställningen blev fel, när det kom mat till slut var lunchsmörgåsarna med kyckling på torrt bröd inget att hurra för. Servitrisen förklarade två gånger att dricks inte är inkluderad, vilket vi inte gav för ett dåligt lunchställe.

Came here for coffee and a snack with my wife. Super friendly staff and food. We sat outside under heaters and umbrellas in the rain, and it was great. It will be a regular place.

We visited this restaurant during our stay in Amsterdam. We were offered in by a waitress when passing by, looking at the menu. After being told she was going to be our server, We sat down, she took our drinks order and we never saw her again.We then waited about 20 mins for someone to return to take our food order, then a further 20/30 mins for our food to arrive. The food was lovely when it arrived and we all throughly enjoyed our meal. We then waited a further 45mins roughly as the waitress seemed to be on a cigarette break chatting and drinking with the locals, for our plates to be cleared and to get the bill. The woman that sat us originally then appeared with our bill and asked for a review. All round lovely place to sit and people watch, but the service wasn’t great and really shadowed over the lovely meal we had.

Hoy fuimos por primera vez. Pedí dos desayunos ingleses completos, 14 euros cada uno, así que esperábamos buena calidad, especialmente en la foto que tienen de él en el menú, se veía muy bien. La realidad estaba lejos de la imagen que mostraban. Huevos mal hechos, dos embutidos de cóctel (en la foto mostraba dos embutidos de tamaño estándar, lo que teníamos era seco y sabía mal) , luego frijoles y Dios mío te hubieras reído de la taza de papel del tamaño dedal en la que estaban, es la primera vez que he podido contar frijoles ya que eran tan pocos. Pequeño trozo de tocino que era soso, no más de una pieza. La tostada tenía un chorrito de mantequilla en la pieza superior, así que la otra pieza estaba seca. Dios mío, espero que los propietarios vean esta crítica. Estafa y mala calidad.

My partner and I ordered 2 English breakfasts @ 13.95 euros each which consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs, toast with butter and beans. Unfortunately, I think the beans must have been in short supply as they arrived in a separate container which reminded me of the small paper containers for ketchup in McDonald's. There were very few, in fact , if I said there were 20 beans in the pot , I could possibly be exaggerating. The toast consisted of 3 triangles, the top slice of toast had melted butter, the 2 that were underneath had been left without butter. The sausage which looked nothing like the advertised photograph on the menu of 1 normal sized sausage, arrived as 2 cocktail sausages and were very dry and salty. The bacon, I'm guessing was streaky bacon was again very salty, fatty and undercooked in parts. I really couldn't see the point of the lettuce and half a cherry tomato that was added either. All in all, I will not be returning to this establishment and will also tell friends, family and colleagues to avoid also !

We came to have brunch and frankly the quality was not there… very sparse and not very tasty despite a price of 14 and 15€ without drinks. However, the terrace and the location are pleasant.

We were there at the beginning of fall '24. The food was great. Warmth was provided with heaters and blankets. Even if the Mexican burger was eaten unconventionally, there was a super quick remedy. :D The waiter will know :) Thank you very much for the short but very warm stay. The prices are fair for Amsterdam.

The location has its atmosphere, but the service does not pay attention to the customers. We ordered two drinks and a cake but we never got the cake. There were 5 people from this cafe, 3 man and 2 women but very interested in themselves, chatting and their smartphones.

The quality of the food was not good, the toasted sandwiches were disappointing and the American pancakes were 3 slices of reheated pancakes that you could just as easily have gotten at Lidl, and were not worth the 10.50.

Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso en Café del Mondo! Fácilmente conseguimos una mesa fuera, que era perfecto para disfrutar del hermoso clima. El servicio era fantástico — nuestro servidor estaba en la pelota, siempre fijándose en nosotros, increíblemente amable, e incluso me ofreció una manta en caso de que tuviera frío. La comida era deliciosa! Teníamos la ricota de raviolis y espinacas y una pizza, ambos eran excelentes. Era el lugar perfecto para relajarse, disfrutar de una copa de vino y empaparse en el ambiente. Muy recomendable para una experiencia gastronómica encantadora!

Unfortunately, there is nothing nice about this place anymore, previously nice, real Dutch people who ran the business with all their heart! Now foreign people and immediate chaos, nothing fun anymore, staff busy with each other, waiter (tinted boy) stands with a toothpick in his mouth among the customers and much more, a pity, a pity, all the fun of this place is gone

Were spontaneously in Amsterdam yesterday (come from Germany). Around 6 p.m. we drank coffee there and later a beer. The young woman from the service (dark hair and slim) was super nice and accommodating! Until the late shift came. A slim man, probably Moroccan, at least look oriental. NO GO!! Don't let guests pass, rather play with beer mats and the best: at the next table two men talk briefly in English and one of the two guests gives him a joint!

stopped here for dinner I had a chicken sandwich which was totally dried out my friend had a disgusting burger Service was poor after food was served they seemed to forget about u. My friend did complain and the waiter responded This is a bar not a restaurant although looking around there were a lot of people chowing down on food.

The terrace was a wonderful place to sit on the rare sunny day we experienced in Amsterdam. The lovely Teresa seated us and served our snack and beers. She was so kind and friendly, and when she found out it was my birthday, she brought me a slice of cake! Great people-watching place!

Grumpy staff who are mainly concerned with each other and not with the customer. It takes a long time and the food is actually hard to eat.

We came here for lunch and it really disappointed us. The waiter already recommended half of the menu before we had a chance to look for ourselves. In the end I chose something that he recommended: the quesadillas. Very poor for 12.50. You get even better ones at Taco Mundo. These were just almost bare wraps that were placed in a sandwich maker. Putting the drinks on the table correctly and on time was already too much to ask. The food came before the drinks arrived. Oh yeah, and if you put the brand of the drink on the menu... MAKE SURE YOU BRING THAT DRINK. Not a cheaper alternative (a B brand).

Poor quality service as well as unpleasant and slow. The waitress retorts: “I don’t know, I don’t drink beer”, are you a waitress or what?? A real scandal. We're still waiting, it's been 40 minutes...

Yesterday we went for dinner and drinks with friends. The boy who helped us was very friendly and hospitable, the ladies were a bit grumpy and arrogant (shame). The service was fast, but the food was really substandard... Chicken that was undercooked, garlic bread without garlic, the normal butter smelled sour. The toilet was really dirty! It was clear to see that it has a new owner...shame!!

Overpriced and lousy service. We got a dirty glass with libstick marks and didn't got any cutlery or napkins with our food. The burger was OK though.

Stopped here for a burger and beer. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. We had one beef burger and one chicken burger, both were delicious. The beer was draught, cold and gorgeous. We sat outside but they had heaters so it was warm and cosy. Great atmosphere, we ended staying all evening and having a few beers. Definitely worth a visit.
