Nice green terrace, friendly service.

Enjoyed a delicious special beer after day 3 of the 4 Days Marches on this wonderfully atmospheric terrace.

Last Thursday evening we had a great time at Frowijn. The girls in the service were running their legs off to help everyone as quickly as possible. The cheese platter is delicious, varied and richly filled. One of our favorite places in Nijmegen to have a drink!

The waitress on July 3rd was terrible. The service was so bad, she was actually angry that people were there enjoying their drinks and spending time with their friends. She was also rude. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Very nice and cozy cafe. The service is friendly and happy to have a chat. The food on the menu is something different from normal, and that is an added bonus to the café. Another highlight: the ice cubes in the delicious aperol spritz resemble olives.

Super friendly service. There is no beer menu, but this was more than compensated by offering a sample package of delicious beers. The cheese board also looked great, very well filled and tasted delicious.

Huge disappointment on the first spring day of 2025.. Frowijn is clearly not what it once was. Had to wait half an hour for my order, became very curious because it took so long, attention had to be paid to that.. After 35 minutes I asked where my order was. Finally I received my order; a very dry Baguette with 'French sausage', so dry that the slices of sausage fell off the baguette, the only garnish 3 pearl onions and 2 gherkins in a tiny container and 5 salted almonds, a colorless appearance. Baquette was so bad that it was difficult to eat, so it wasn't eaten! Gravy and coffee were good, but €9.95 for a piece of dry bread, you won't see me there again! Very unfortunate, it used to be one of the most beautiful and best terraces in Nijmegen...

This was a very nice café and is still a great café since the change of ownership - although the service is sometimes a bit slow. The only problem is that since this year this café has been using every opportunity to play a festival and is therefore a nuisance to the neighborhood (noise, music of poor quality and loud volume, blocking traffic). Unfortunately, providing feedback in a friendly manner was of no avail. Shame.

Lovely real pub with nice decor and friendly staff! Perfect base for the Zevenheuvelennacht, the Zevenheuvelenloop and the Four Days Marches. Good coffee and nice collection on tap.

Lovely terrace where you can drink various tap beers under trees. It's a quiet authentic cafe and not as busy as in the city.

It is simply a wonderful place to have a drink in a French atmosphere.

Love the place, it's located in a cozy place near the city center. The service is usually very good, especially when the Frenchman himself is in service. The food is very good, but it's not original from France. The price I'd say is within the norms of Netherlands. They have heated seats outside and cover sheets for when it's cold. Free toilet for customers.

Relax on the terrace, two cappuccinos. Until you pay and have to pay €8 for two cappuccinos... that's a bit of a shock. How dare a local pub behave so arrogantly that they charge €4 for such a drink that is also lukewarm and with a failed pattern of milk on the coffee. Apparently the barista is still in training. In Milan they would be embarrassed by this price and quality. Too bad Frowijn, lost a customer after all these years.

I wrote six months ago that I was disappointed with the price/quality ratio of two baguettes (to go). Went back for a second chance at the invitation of the owner. Once again enjoyed the excellent ambiance, but now with a baguette with garnish 😀. Owner: thanks for the quick and positive response.

Perfect terrace for a coffee and croissant in the sun and inside the coziest café to spend time in! Great service and very friendly staff! (A little playground for children!)

Cappuccino FOUR euros. I have never paid so much anywhere in Nijmegen. It was a good one by the way!

Nice place for a drink after a four-day walk... I sat here on the meadow, nice place but not all the staff speak Dutch and I find that special. How difficult can it be to learn good morning good afternoon good evening and the map... but otherwise definitely recommended...

Very pleasant cafe. Lots of tasty beers, good atmosphere and the bartender (we were allowed to call him "the fat one") is very friendly! I'm looking forward to the four-day event to sit here on the terrace again!

Frowijn is one of the nicest places in Nijmegen: tasty beers, nice small snacks and a cozy terrace. AND (important!): also use GLASS and no plastic during the Summer Festivities!

Nice, quiet terrace when the weather is nice and a cozy, intimate pub the rest of the year. To e.g. On the cheese board you immediately see 'just a little bit better' and also in the range of toasted sandwiches.

Perfect for relaxing after 4 days of walking. Ultimately, after endlessly combining tables and chairs, there is always room to be found. It is interesting to stand in the pee line and chat along with the other people waiting. As a man, you run the risk of the men's toilet being claimed by the women's row. Equality has its price. Vedet beer.

Café Frowijn is now a household name in the neighborhood as a neighborhood café. Many regular guests. Large terrace where you can enjoy the sun for a long time in the summer. The cafe itself, on the other hand, is small and outdated. Could be renovated.

Enjoyed a few specialty beers. Small cafe on a corner, I think the terrace is larger than the interior. Located in a quiet spot in Nijmegen, but still feels cozy and cozy.
