Such a pleasure to walk into Peter's home cafe, welcomed by warmth, both heartfelt human and physical, Roxy Music and a wealth of nice stuff to rest one's eye on. My appreciation, compliments and respect Peter! Fred.

Unique place with special decor and owner

Very cozy, almost living room cafe. Friendly service.

And then suddenly it gets interesting. There are occasionally nice surprises among all the Limburg standard sausages. No less hospitable or cozy, but more interesting. Great coffee, atmosphere and local drinks

I feel like home at Cafe de Gau, Peter the owner is very friendly. You don't get any food there but they offer different warm and cold beverages and of course cakes...

They are now regular customers and there is no other place like this. Cozy, just beautiful. Outside in front of the café, inside, but also through the café at the back. A dream outside. Everything was delicious 😋 and super nice, always friendly staff. Can only be recommended. Greetings from Aachen Kronenberg.

Great cafe with very friendly people

We sat outside there yesterday and had something to drink. Shortly before my cousin's wedding in the community center. Top service, freshly tapped beer & delicious wine 🍷 Thank you, thank you

Very cozy. Really nice cafe! Nice service, a nice quiet terrace and inside it is separate and nice, decorated with love and a touch of art.

Heel gezellige locatie met veel kunst. Binnen echte huiskamer sfeer. Vriendelijke bediening. En overheerlijke rijstevlaai. En alles in hartje Vaals waar wij tot vandaag alleen maar hart langs gefietst waren.

Leuke locatie op pleintje, rustig gelegen tegenover gemeentehuis. Regenboogvlag prominent boven deur ! Chapeau!

Ein außergewöhnliches Kunst- Café mit Galerie. Vor dem Café sind Sitzplätze, von denen man das Treiben auf dem Platz und auf dem Dienstagsmarkt beobachten kann. Drinnen ist es nostalgisch-kreativ- gemütlich. Im Hinterhof gefallen mir die frei laufenden Hühner und die Vögel. Überall ist "Kunst" zu entdecken, sogar auf der Toilette😊

Ein etwas anderes Cafe. Man kommt schnell in Kontakt mit anderen. Sehr netter Wirt. Wechselnde Ausstellungen!

If you like art and a good wine this the place to be in Vaals. Be sure to try the grilled ham-and-cheese sandwich (tosti), probably the best in Vaals. This is not a restaurant, but a Cafe therefor I think the menu is limited to the sandwich, some pie (vlaai) and some other small cafe snacks like nuts. In the back there is a garden which has a couple of really beautiful live chickens and some tables and chairs to enjoy the sun. The reading table has a couple of newspapers and a couple of challenging puzzle games.
