Cozy little café with a friendly staff and a good selection of food and drinks! Their pancakes with a mix of mascarpone and maple syrup 🍁 is very nice. Prices are very reasonable, I highly recommend this Cafe!

Jansen, that's my mother's name too! Of course, I couldn't pass her by. And you know, my mother is a great cook, right? Here, at Café Jansen Schinkel, I had a wonderful time. A delicious and filling sandwich with grilled chicken and salad! A bottle of water was immediately put on the table, which was nice because the coffee was nice and strong! Highly recommended, and certainly not just for the food. You can also work or study there! 👍👍👍

Very cozy - gezellig - place for coffee. The coffee is "ok" - it seems to be served with much more milk than normal, so you might want to ask for less milk when you order - you can always add more. I was disappointed with the service. A smile in return for mine would have been a minimum expectation.

I worked there cooking and the girl in charge has no idea what happens inside the kitchen, in fact if there is an inspection they will close the place due to lack of cleanliness, how do they keep things without putting plastic or data When it was made, she never opened the dishwasher drain in her life telling me that it is clogged, when I opened it to clean it was totally disgusting, dirt from years and Spider and other bugs coming out of there, she cleans the kitchen with a paper and a disinfectant instead of soap and other products like in other kitchens...she canceled my next shifts because I told her everything to her face and it seems like she doesn't like to much this and that could affect her employment. I hope the owner of the place sees this

I enjoyed this place as the coffee was good, the staff is quite nice, and it is a great space to have a chat with friends or study.

Had a nice late lunch. Ordered the steak sandwich and the avocado toastie. Prices were fair and the food was well prepared. You can sit inside or outside. Overall it’s a Convenient spot to go for a bite, with easy parking.

Having just survived Amsterdam marathon, we stopped off here on the way back from the finish line: what a great find is all I can say. Great service, great food, a really nice quiet spot on a Sunday afternoon, and great beer as well. They had no ham but suggested bacon instead in their cheese and ham sandwich which worked well (and should go on the menu). A great spot and thanks for making us welcome!

Simple breakfast menu, amazing music playlist, the ambiance is very hipster or 70s revival/bohemian. Very unique art and the woman running the place is absolutely adorable. She hustles, She makes the food, waits the tables, handles cash register and buses the tables. She also seems to manage the small boutique hotel attached. We happened upon this small restaurant as there isn't much open nearby.

Very warm place, where you immediately feel welcome. You can study or work in a peaceful environment and enjoy unique sandwiches for a reasonable amount of money.

2 lunch gerechten geproefd en werkelijk heerlijk! Goed op smaak en heerlijk brood. Bediening kwam zelden aan tafel en erg traag, enig minpunt. Kom hier zeker nog een keer terug.
