Café 'Mie Pieters' in Heukelom

After a nice walk with friends, we had a drink and a bite to eat. A pleasant atmosphere and a beautiful location.

It's a shame you have to order inside and then walk back in three more times before you get your order. No clean glasses either. A bit of a shame, it's just not quite right.

A cozy café in a beautiful location, perfect for a tasty bite to eat and a drink after a walk or bike ride in the wooded surroundings. The (asparagus) soup of the month was fantastic!

A delightful, traditional Brabant café and lunch restaurant. Persian rugs still adorn some of the tables. On Fridays, you can also dine here between 6 and 8 pm. There's a vegetarian menu with the option to add meat or fish. The fixed price is €37.50.

It's a nice place, a bit in the middle of nowhere. But way too many dogs; it looks like a dog shelter. The food isn't tasty.

We didn't take anything there, after fifteen minutes we happened to see on the menu that you had to order at the bar yourself.

Extensive beer menu on the patio. Order inside, and it's brought to your table. Cozy atmosphere. Ordered fries with crispy fries and delicious mayo.

Had a nice lunch in pleasant surroundings.

Easy stop on the way to Oisterwijk

After a lovely walk we visited Mie Pieters. What a lovely place! A lovely terrace, spacious, cosy and well maintained. We had heard that they had their own baked apple pie and it was really delicious! Due to the lovely weather it was pleasantly busy but the service was fast and very friendly. An absolute must and we will definitely come back! Thank you!

The location is fantastic for throwing a party! Fortunately, the ingredients for a great party are mainly location, nice weather, good service and of course guests who are in the mood for a party. All of that fell perfectly into place at my party! And so I look back on a great party with one caveat.... The owner is not suited to running a catering business. She is unfriendly, not hospitable and there are few agreements to be made with her when it comes to the content of the party. Especially if it does not yield enough for her. A cup of coffee was not even possible during the preliminary discussion. For the vegetables that you brought yourself - and therefore bought yourself - had to be paid extra. And that while the owner would rather not take care of it herself. During the party, the soft drinks were served from one and a half liter bottles in glasses that were much too small. That is not catering worthy. And of course all drinks have to be paid for according to the high prices on the menu. Price agreements were not negotiable. They are already, according to themselves, much cheaper than other venues. I will leave that to the reader to judge. In addition, after the party the owner came with the message that she should have also charged room rental, but that she did not. Totally surprising of course, but very nice that she had 'mooched' us off with that. In conclusion I can say that Mie Pieters is a great location for celebrating a party. If the owner would act a bit more hospitable and customer-friendly, the entire experience would be perfect. P.S. of course I also had a choice after the first two conversations. However, because I had started looking for a location late, there were few options. Otherwise I might have made a different choice.

Lovely old and nostalgic village pub. Beautifully situated. Lovely after a walk. And the pub quiz is fun.

Present at an afternoon party. we had the back room, and a table outside. Even though the time had already started, the room was still closed. lovely surroundings and a great time outside when the weather is good. the little ones could play around in the demarcated playground. big plus. Staff barely showed up. we have to walk all the way around every time to place our orders. Also clearing glasses and bottles was apparently too much. After we spoke to them about this twice, they started to keep track. snacks: various appetizers were put on the table, which was well liked by most of the group. see vegetarian option ref: In my opinion, far too young staff who actually didn't know what they were doing.

When the weather is nice, you can sit in the garden with the children in the small playground.

Did a bike ride in the area and stopped at Mie's for lunch. Really worth it! This is enjoyment!

Super fun & cozy Real living room atmosphere! Owner & wife are very nice. Spanish-speaking chef (when will the Spanish snacks come?) and a nice and hardworking waiter Javier. Will definitely come back here!! Beautiful location near the woods and river. The atmosphere of Brabant is completely exuded here. Delicious regional beer from the Trappist monastery of Latrappe is part of it!! “Taste the silence” Life is good in Burgundian Brabant! Nice and close to Oisterwijk & Tilburg

Simply pleasant. Good service both on the terrace and inside. A feeling of home. I can't say more about it

Nice place to have a drink. It is attractive both inside and outside. When the weather is nice, you can sit in the garden with a playground for the little ones. When it gets colder it is wonderful to stay indoors. The staff is always friendly, you immediately feel at home. A wonderful place to rest after a walk in the woods.

I ate there and it was fine. But the coffee, and in particular the Coffee: Café latte macchiato. Really a 10 plus. Insanely good and price-quality top. Also for the ordinary person. Not too expensive and no fuss. Just from person to person.

All in all it was a lovely getaway from the city, easy distance with the bikes.

We walked in the area and then had a drink here. Small but cozy terrace, friendly staff. Due to a shortage of staff, the question was whether we wanted to place the order inside, but we were served at the table. The iced coffee was really fantastic, we will definitely come back for that!

Van oudsher is dit café de pleisterplaats voor vele fietsers en wandelaars en enkele dorpelingen uit Heukelom. Een prima kop koffie, een knapperende houtkachel en een glimlach maken samen de cocktail die iedere verkleumde voorbijganger weer ontdooien.

Was excellent again. Lovely outside in the sun with a delicious Steenbrugge blond and a super filled homemade pea soup with rye bread and bacon. Yum.

Just had lunch at this cafe, unfortunately disappointed. The quality of the food was okay for my friend (he had a bouncer), nothing special, he probably made it better himself. For myself, the food was so disappointing that (as can be seen in the photos) I left more than 2/3 of my food. The proportions of the ingredients were terrible, the nachos were soaked in the sweet chilli sauce (which consists of more than fifty percent sugars), in short, very sweet. It was in four layers on the nachos. The herb cheese that came with it added nothing, just like the quarter stalk of spring onion that was present, which could have been more present. The cheese also had virtually no taste, in short it tasted like normal nachos that were soaked in the sickly sweet chilli. In terms of drinks, the quality was also minimal for me, it was a smoothie made from frozen fruit, without imparting much flavor to the drink. My friend's cappuccino was of good quality. In short: only grab coffee here. Finally, I wanted to point out that we raised the problem but that they did nothing regarding the price, so it was a waste of money.

Na iedere wandeling is het altijd goed toeven bij Mie Pieters. Het ligt ietwat uit de gooi, maar er is altijd wel een route zo te kiezen dat Mie Pieters er in past. De bediening komt altijd met een smile en een vriendelijk woord. Mijn omwandelcafé van nu af aan.

We waren aan het fietsen toen we hier langs kwamen en trek hadden. Het was er lekker druk op het terras , (bleek hondenwedstrijd in de buurt ) Maar ondanks de drukte werden we snel en vriendelijk geholpen. We kozen de eigen gerechten, de Mie Pieters gehaktbal en de Mie Pieters tosti. We kunnen zeggen dat we dit een aanrader vinden. Mochten we ooit nog eens hier in de buurt komen, dan zullen we hier zeker terug komen. Binnen zag het er ook heel gezellig uit.

Closed on Monday, there was a sign on the side of the road, you stop there, motorcycle on the jiffy, helmet off, gloves off, motorcycle bag and when you are on the terrace ..... There was a nice picnic bench But quite a few people stopped

Nice spot. Nice people. Large terrace and part of the terrace with shelter. Quite nice when it rains!

In and In sad, during the time we spent on the terrace everything went wrong around us, a simple menu and then almost everything was gone at half past three. Finally, after almost an hour on the terrace, we received our sausage roll, just warm but still frozen on the inside. (received for free in the end). Constantly losing notes, losing orders. What are face masks, service just walked around without them, no registration was seen.
