Cozy cafe with fun activities like darts and pool. Hardworking staff who bring drinks to your table quickly, despite the crowds.

€19 for a burger is too much for what it was. A correct price would be around €14... Including fries and sauce would justify €19. Otherwise, the service was good and the pub was cozy. We came from Belgium specifically because this is an Orval ambassador café.

Playing darts at Café Piet Huisman is really no punishment with all that specialty beer.

Very nice café with mixed public and very good selection of beers. Make plans for after a visit, but certainly not for the next morning. Oh yes you can also play billiards and darts, but I'm not really into that.

Not since the renovation. The facade has now been completely renovated, with windows and now reminds me of an Irish pub from the outside. Inside, the bar has been renovated and everything now has a lot of atmosphere, with wood. Of course, the beer selection is unchanged. The billiard tables are also still present. Popular with the NEC supporters

Went to a performance. Nice and full. Nice atmosphere and nice service

Went there on a Monday and the bartender was able to advise us well about the beers in their range. Decor brown yet modern. You can play pool here and there was also a slot machine.

Had 1 drink but experience and choice enough to come back again!

When you look at the front you think "nice to have another café in Nijmegen". But upon entering it is a nice large space with a lot to do. If you want to enjoy a drink, it is possible. But pool, billiards and darts are also possible. Would you rather play a board game? No problem, these are also available. Pleasantly busy on a Thursday evening. Highly recommended.

Fun fact about the pub: Piet Huisman is the father of the cousin of the current owner. Not to be confused with his uncle. The bar staff are very friendly. Nevertheless, we had a great time. Big plus: they serve Brand plus. 5/5

Horrible staff. 🤑 Too lazy to work. Maurice, co-owner, prefers to throw his customers out, literally. It won't be long before they are closed, because people are sniffing and dealing. Hence Maurice Huisman's aggression. Will an honest review be deleted?

A very cozy pub. Formerly a real billiard stronghold, but nowadays there is also room (enough) for a cozy brown pub. The beer range is really next-level, of course because of the Biermenneke 'next door'.... Closed on Sundays, except when the match between NEC and Vit... is played!

A wonderfully atmospheric and inviting bar that offers a diverse selection of finger food, some bigger dishes, and drinks with a notable emphasis on various specialty beers. The inclusion of pool tables and thematic decor adds to the overall charm, although it can get a bit crowded, which is quite understandable.

Bier was heerlijk, veel soorten speciaalbier op de tap. Na de verbouwing wel een tikkeltje hip geworden. Eten erg lekker, wel overpriced (zoals in alle hippe tenten). Nog net geen fritz cola. Bediening was aardig en biertjes waren snel getapt. Kom wel terug hoor, kan er ook leuk poolen. Joe

Een goeie plek om lekker bier van de tap te drinken of een van de vele speciaalbieren die via untapped te vinden zijn.

Super gezellig, vriendelijk en gastvrij

Biljarten kost 7,50 per uur en als je dan vraagt waarom de biljarts niet verwarmd zijn staan ze je als een aap aan te kijken . Sorry maar raar

What a great place to spend your evening with your friends/family/partner. Fun as there are 2 pool tables and good spots for dart games and also slot machines. The place is separated in two parts. Firstly you will find the lounge area with the bar and later on the game area. It has a good variety of beers and snacks. The prices are where they should be and have on mind that in order to play you need to pay either by game or by the hour. Specifically for the pool table is €7,50 per hour. The place is in an absolutely great condition with good music. The only thing that I would like to be different is for the music to be a bit louder! Great place, great people!

Gezellige tent met lekker bier, goeie borrelhapjes en aardig personeel

Als je echt ergens gezellig wat wil drinken, dan moet je bij Piet Huisman zijn! Enorm veel keuze in verschillende biertjes en gezellig poolen/biljarten.

Slecht. Ik had n review op hun site geschreven. Ben letterlijk de kroeg uit gegooid. Die wordt gewoon gewist. Slechte beoordeling, natuurlijk. Voor mij zegt dat genoeg, quilty.... Aangifte gedaan, Maurice, zoon vd baas, liegt tegen de politie, ook dat schijnt te mogen. Weet zeker dat er camerabeelden zijn, ook gewist, natuurlijk. Oeps, Huismannetjes, dit is niet oké.....

Toptent, erg leuk personeel en altijd een goede sfeer, waar ze ook nog een zeer groot en wisselend bierassortiment te bieden hebben zowel op fles als op de tap. Ook erg handig dat ze dit via Untappd updaten, zodat je al vanaf je telefoon naar de beschrijvingen en beoordelingen van de verschillende biertjes kunt kijken. De bierwinkel ernaast is trouwens ook zeker een aanrader.

Wat n vreselijk café. Mijn man en n Collega hebben dit cafe gered. We wilde vanavond n biertje drinken. We werden werkelijk de kroeg u uitgeslagen. Letterlijk.. Er mogen alleen nog snuivers naar binnen. Matrices!!!! Goed gedaan, looser.

Heel gezellig Cafe met heel veel lekkere bieren.

Van buiten lijkt het niet wat maar binnen is het supergezellig! Heel veel biertjes, pouken en darten en een boel gezelligheid.

Zeer goede bierproeverij gehad waarbij met bijzondere bieren. Zeer flexibel, vriendelijk en kennis van zaken.

Incredible Pub. The service was great and the athmosphere was very pleasing. You can play darts for free and the pool for a small price. We didnt eat anything but the drinks were good.

Ik kom al jaren hier om een biertje te drinken of een biljarten te kunnen leggen. Sinds kort hanteren een prijs van 7,50 per uur, prima geen probleem mee.. indien biljart is bezet, (je kunt niet reserveren) kun je je op een lijst laten plaatsen.. maar waar voorheen je dan een uurtje kon biljarten zodat andere mensen daarna konden spelen was dat er niet meer bij.. pas als ze de mensen die aan het biljarten zijn geen zin meer hebben ( ongeacht hoelang), dan ben je aan de beurt.. wij waren rond 20.00u binnen en rond 0.00u kwam er een biljart beschikbaar. Voor een maaltijd niet super maar de borrelplank was heerlijk. Groot aanbod in bieren en vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Kroeg waar we graag komen om een biertje te drinken.

Moet vanavond na jaren te komen opeens 22,50 euro afrekenen voor 3 uur biljarten nadat dit jaren niets koste. Niet fijn dat je dit na jaren te komen niet vooraf wordt meegedeeld. Verder is de prijs buiten proportie voor een biljart dat niet wordt verwarmt, waar gaatjes in het laken zitten en wat verloop op de tafel heeft. Op dit moment is in de markt een prijs van 4 euro per uur al aan de hoge kant maar dan heb je wel een topbiljart ter beschikking. Ik heb er begrip voor dat biljarten wat mag kosten maar dan verwacht ik ook kwaliteit te krijgen voor zo'n hoge prijs en geïnformeerd te worden ( vooraf). Blijkbaar is de visie van cafe Pietje Huisman veranderd in meer gericht op het grote kapitaal binnenhalen en minder om de mens een fijne avond te bezorgen. Ik vind dit een slechte ontwikkeling en ga eens achteroverleunen en na denken of en hoe ik verder wil met biljarten bij Pietje Huisman

Geweldig biljart- en speciaalbierencafé met een heerlijk uitgebreide bierlijst en kennis van zaken. Aanrader voor iedereen die van een goed bier houdt.

Altijd gezellig. Vakkundig en zeer vriendelijke personeel. Gemoedelijke sfeer.

Prettig vertoeven, goede service en muziek niet boven praatvolume.

Bij Piet Huisman (Pietje zoals wij het noemen) is het altijd gezellig. Het personeel is vriendelijk, de sfeer is top en ze hebben ontelbaar veel biertjes. Mocht je nou na al dat bier trek hebben gekregen; dan is er ook een heerlijke borrelkaart. Ik ben in een hoop bier cafés geweest en kan aangeven dat dit verreweg mijn favoriet is.

Lekker potje poolen met een biertje en borrelhap kan hier uitstekend!! Biljart kan overigens ook, maar dat kan ik dan weer echt niet.

Een erg goed biercafe in Nijmegen, net buiten het centrum. Super veel verschillende bieren, ongedwongen sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Absoluut een aanrader, en ik ben hier vanaf nu vaker te vinden!
