Can be fun, music is always good here

Underground (long ago including Gonzo) is one of the few large dance cellars in Nijmegen and therefore special. Music is diverse, but not always Mainstream. Friendly staff. Great for an evening of entertainment. 😁

Can be fun, but sometimes they play very strange music

At first I always thought this was a top place, but I just stood in line and arrived with a beer in my hand, security saw this and didn't let me in because I radiated public intoxication. After this (after some discussion) the police were immediately called in (with whom I communicated in a very calm manner) and I was pushed away twice in a very aggressive manner by the security guard. If I had had any form of evidence I would have filed a complaint. It's a shame that the police report that they did not see me being pushed and therefore could not do anything. I have no business here anymore. By the way, the last time I was here, after the corona closure, I found the atmosphere a lot less pleasant than before. @ndrgrnd pick this up, make it better. It was fun with you once

Previously it was always a nice place where everyone could feel welcome, but it has changed with a nasty atmosphere

A nice atmosphere, but actually always too busy, because there are no good walking routes for the cloakroom, toilet or beer, you always have to go through the crowd! And unfortunately beer is always served in plastic glasses, which is a shame...

Real old-fashioned dance bar in the appropriate cellar. From house to rock, variety and a cozy atmosphere. Entrance is free, which makes it so non-binding. Special stage for performances and otherwise an extra dance floor that is slightly higher and provides an overview.

One of the nicest dance cafés in Nijmegen. Friendly bartenders, music to suit everyone's taste and delicious beer! (Kornuit) What more could a person want?

DJs are inconsistent. You never know what you'll encounter.

Beautiful cellar, always fun even if it is quiet. The choice of music is also always different and fortunately never a mixed party blast, but still good music to get you going.

The music here is ALWAYS good. Because it's underground (literally), it also has the best "club feeling" in Nijmegen.

During the introduction the drinks are cheap here, but I don't think the music is very danceable and the space is quite small.

The bar will close at exactly 4:00 am.

If you want to go out in Nijmegen and you don't want to go to tents full of testosterone males, but just have a nice beer, then this is the place for you. Nice shots too.

Great little club if you feel like dancing and don't want to hear the standard "nightlife CD". (From rock, indie, techno, rap, tech house, good pop songs, much more

Hip hop, techno and deep house music that makes me happy is played here. Very friendly staff and the beer is not expensive either. This place certainly attracts the best nightlife crowd in Nijmegen. Definitely drop by if you're in town for some drinks and dancing.

Very diverse music club, nicely hidden away. With very good airco they make sure the cellar area is kept nice and cool.

Chill party location with a modern cave/wine cellar look.

The place to go for your alternative music night (hiphop, EDM, punk/rock, they used to also play hardrock and a little bit of metal but not often anymore, sadly). Most of the time there is no entrance fee, exceptions are special nights (Vierdaagsefeesten, new-years eve)

Lived in Nijmegen in 1990's when this place was called Gonzo' s.. returned this year after 20yrs and this is still the best music bar in Nijmegen... !

An oasis in the Molenstraat! Something deeper and dirtier would have been nice as far as I'm concerned.
