Very nice restaurant! The food was delicious and the atmosphere cozy. Friendly staff and fast service. I will definitely come back.

As always, we had a great meal and the service was great. The steak is highly recommended.

A fun experience in a neat space which celebrates the history of the area with elevated cuisine. I had their Tournedos in a pepper sauce for my main and the Dame Blanche for dessert and both were delightful!

An incredibly beautiful building. Inside you will be amazed. Unfortunately, I thought the food was very expensive for the quality. The service was friendly only because it had to be.

Historical place. You imagine yourself back in the time when everything on the Heijplaat revolved around the RDM and with Courzand as a social center and rest point. Food is a reflection of that. Straight forward. Just a good steak. Good glass of wine. Nice personal service.

Beautiful building in art deco style with beautiful elements. Very atmospheric. Dinner is truly fantastic. Butter tender steak has rarely been better eaten. Service is really good. The owner's daughter (?) creates the atmosphere, together with her other colleagues. You can go with a large group and it is also possible to be intimate with just the two of you. It is more than worth it to visit this special historic spot.

Siempre me encantó venir aquí para cenar y el ambiente y por lo tanto decidí elegir este lugar para mi fiesta de bodas. Es muy triste decir que el restaurante no es capaz de organizar una fiesta más grande. Éramos 70 - 80 personas. - Esperó una hora para el entrante / comida para niños (aprox. 15 niños) - la capacidad de las personas para aceptar pedidos y servir era demasiado poco - La planificación durante la cena se retrasó una hora, a pesar de la confirmación previa que pueden manejar 150 personas; no hubo excusa o comunicación del jefe de equipo durante la cena -Nos trataron mal algunos de los empleados Las sillas estaban rotas (¡entre las cuales estaba la de la novia!) - Sin verduras con la comida y plato infantil muy sencillo (patatas fritas y nuggets con mayo) - La calidad de la comida es muy buena - Parte del personal nos trató muy comprensivo y amable Es muy triste escribir esta reseña y realmente no me gusta (incluso esperé un tiempo para calmarme). Creo que la gente debería ser advertida y habríamos elegido un lugar diferente.

Beautiful nautical and historic location. Had a delicious meal with 8 colleagues. The Dry-aged sirloin steak was delicious. The only disadvantage I found was that it was quite noisy, but that didn't spoil the fun.

You notice that the chef really wants to put the best result on the table! Highly recommended!

Not suitable for a gluten-free diet. Staff is poorly informed. Ended up getting a pokebowl with soy sauce (usually contains gluten) and fried onions (usually contains gluten). I didn't completely eat the dish when I realized this and still had a lot of complaints.

a shame about the management, had a salad with a ketjap dressing that was really soggy and so salty that I didn't give it up. When I said something about it, it was dismissed as "yes, that is possible". So it is not so much about something not going well in the kitchen, but more about the handling. Were there for the first and last time, which is a real shame considering how beautiful the place is. While it was super quiet, there were also other guests who complained about the fact that coffee and cake were not served at the same time (there was a 15-minute interval... so coffee was already finished of course) and the response to this was also very laconic.

Nice location and good friendly service but that was it. The food was not worth the price. I received my fries in a large bowl to share with others who also had fries with their dish. Should have asked. Not enough sauce for the fries. Also it seemed to be fried in old oil. They were too greasy, too brown, and way too little. The Chicken Satay was just okay, nothing special.

Authentic Rotterdam (I should probably say Heijplaat!) and good food. This is where you want to bring guests. Highly recommended, especially because of the horse meat.

Gnome was there once this week with about 8 other gnomes who visit each other every now and then in the present to review the past. Today also some Gnomes who last saw each other almost 40 years ago👀😳. Started with coffee☕and slowly (and actually much too quickly) started having lunch, telling all kinds of stories. From 2 croquettes on bread to bouncers and salad to beers and tea and everything else, the time of 40 years has flown very quickly to the present day. Location was great👌 and very pleasant to be in the old building of the RDM workers. Due to the domed hall and the other guests present, there was a bit of a cacophonous noise inside, but it did not spoil the fun of gathering.🤣 After a number of gnomes left early, a number of them continued to "simmer" until after 3 p.m. and apparently that was also the closing time of the establishment. By the way, a very nice, quiet, special location. And after this very nice day and meeting, this Gnome got back on his 🚲 horse.

Beautiful location in the hidden village of Pernis, in the old canteen of the RDM shipyard. Completely in Amsterdam School style / Art Deco. Good cuisine with surprising quality.

We have indicated several times in this restaurant that if you sell a draft beer as "Texels Skuumkoppe" it must also be "Texels Skuumkoppe" and may not serve "Texels Zeebrees Blond" as being "Texels Skuumkoppe" and maintain that this is a real "Texels Skuumkoppe". This is misleading and contemptuous of the customer who drinks this beer anytime, anywhere and really knows that the "Texels Sea Breeze Blonde" served is not the much darker Skuumkoppe. Stop this deception Courzand!

Nhet enige nog echt havencafe restaurant van Rotterdam Zuid. Vol met historieen vlakbij de havens. Het eten is goed maar de totale ervaring maakt het een leuke locatie

What an unexpected PEARL in the Rotterdam port area. WOW! What a wonderful atmosphere. I love it. From the outside you wouldn't expect this inside. Good service. Clean toilets. Good food. Good coffee with a nice little personalized cookie. Will definitely come back here again.

Bijna twee jaar geleden voor het eerst geweest tijdens een zakendiner. Geweldige ervaring. Weer terug, nu met gezin voor lunch. Het viel tegen, net een paar minnetjes teveel. Het begon bij het menu. Op de achterkant staan wat bites. Bij het bestellen bleek dat deze gerechten niet meer beschikbaar zijn. Slordig, maar kan een keer gebeuren.. Lunch besteld. Toen bleek dat er een ingrediënt niet voorradig was voor een van de gerechten. Dat check je toch elke dag voordat de service begint ?.. Voorgerecht was een verzameling van voorgerechtjes. Zeker lekker, maar geen EUR 32 waard. Hoofdgerechten (eend, gamba's, hamburger) waren goed, smaakvol. Lekker veel groente. Niks mis mee. Nog een wijntje besteld. Vergeten.. Dessert. Koffie compleet was prima. Ik had een espresso na besteld, maar volgens mij kreeg ik een gewone koffie.. Het andere dessert was een dame blanche. Het was vooral veel, maar slappe slagroom en een veel te dunne chocoladesaus... Gewoon een 4. En tot slot de toiletten. De vloer en de toiletten waren net schoongemaakt. Maar de dispenser met papieren handdoekjes was leeg en best smerig. En niet bepaald schoon was ook de prullenbak. Alles bij elkaar denk ik: wat jammer.... De sfeer was goed, de entourage is geweldig, de bediening vriendelijk, het voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht en de wijn waren echt lekker en goed. Maar alles bij elkaar kom ik deze keer niet verder dan een 6. Ik wil zeker nog een keer terugkomen, maar dan moet alles wel kloppen.

Beautiful restaurant with a lot of nostalgia of the "good" old days of the RDM. It has been rebuilt in as much of its original state as possible and it exudes history. The food is good and the service is cheerful, helpful and pleasant. I say go take a look and taste it and note that it is also open on weekends, which was not the case in the past.

Not what it used to be… The food was mediocre and expensive for the quality you get. The service was strange; You have to wait a long time to order an additional drink, you get a dessert menu silently pressed into your hands, etc. We had put in the comments when making the reservation that we were coming for a birthday, but nothing was done about this. The only thing I can be positive about is the historic building.

Yes, on my dear father's birthday we went for dinner. We had steak which was so tasty and Valeria had a delicious frikandel with fries. Super delicious. Went to eat on Saturday and when we arrived the management started talking strangely and unintelligibly. We were assigned a table that after a while was crowded by other tables that could not get out properly. The drink order was taken and asked do you have Pepsi or Coke, the waitress looked confused. Finally it became clear Coke. Drinks followed as soon as we passed the card. After a while she came asking for asparagus with ham or lamb. 4 people said ham and what is served lamb. Ordered drinks again Fanta cassis and the rest. The waitress came with Fanta and cassis and the rest. Was also on the receipt. I ordered dessert early instead of cake, coffee, yes, that's good. Dessert arrived, my cake and Dame Blanch ice cream without chocolate sauce. Yes, coffee is coming, I said never mind. We went to get the sauce but it wasn't delivered. So just vanilla ice cream with whipped cream. But the bill did say Dame Blanch. To make matters worse, 51.50 euros too much on the bill. Yes, we always do it that way and the final bill will come later. I said a customer is king but he said a customer is not king. It was the first time for us but also the last time.

Went for dinner with friends, a total of 5 people. The food was reasonably good, although everything was not right. When the bill exceeded €300 Pfffffffffff, I think I was charged €52 too much. When you get home, look at the amount carefully again. That doesn't make any sense, so I'll check back this afternoon.

Nice old-fashioned Dutch café. As soon as you step inside you immediately get the feeling that you are entering an old-fashioned harbor cafe with a wooden table top and paintings of ships on the wall. Beautiful experience and you can enjoy a nice beer there.

For me, the last time I was here was in the mid-1990s. And last Saturday I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in here again. How renovated and nice to see the history of the RDM here and there. I definitely recommend having a cup of coffee or something to eat here. I will definitely come back again.

The food was shamefully bad cold, reheated, tasteless and hard meatballs. Informed in advance about gluten-free food, this was not arranged on site. Barked by the cook when asked. The atmosphere of the building is good, the furniture is shabby (the table almost fell through its legs, the chair is wobbly).

Kerstborrel gehad hier. Was goed te doen. Eten had wat warmer gemogen en beter geregeld maar dat was wellicht niet de schuld van het restaurant. Service was uitstekend en we werden bediend met glimlachende dames.

We waren er nog nooit eerder geweest. We hebben ons laten verrassen door de kok. Het was GEWELDIG! We hebben HEERLIJK gegeten. Hele mooie/lekkere gerechten. Goede service, heel klantvriendelijk. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Chateaubriand gegeten die was gedeeltelijk aangebrand en de bijlages minimaal de groente was zo karig het was zeer slecht ende friet was te hard gebakken en dat voor €61,50 mij zien ze daar nooit meer

Very friendly staff, we had a great evening at the bar having wine and snacks while watching the stunning art deco decor! And coming by water taxi is part of the experience for a unique evening away from the city center.

Food was good but for the price I was expecting better fries they were very over cooked and the oil didn't seem fresh. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't allowed to specify how I wanted my burger cooked. I understand that it's different culturally, but I struggle from a poor immune system so I try to play it safe. It should also be noted for others that tap water is not offered even when asked for.

Een bijzondere plek in een bijzondere omgeving. Waar eens de voetjes van de dokwerkers van de vloer gingen, is er nu een gastvrij en smakelijk onthaal.

Super leuke locatie, sfeervol, ook voor zakelijke besprekingen en vergadering, prima vergaderzaal te huur, goed bereikbaar met auto en watertaxi, voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Aanrader dus !!
