Delicious, generously filled sandwiches with chicken thigh pieces. Tender and well-seasoned. Not your typical plate, but stylishly presented and served by the chef himself. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a delicious lunch!

Another delicious meal; the popular spareribs were excellent. French onion soup was also super delicious. The Kibbeling plate looked delicious too. Thank you for another wonderful experience at See You!

We ordered two croquette sandwiches, but received two croquettes with bread. We didn't want to be rude, so we left it at that. Unfortunately, my croquettes were overcooked, which detracted from the flavor. The accompanying salad was partially wilted, which was a shame! We left without complaining—perhaps that was our fault—but we still ended up with a slight hangover, especially due to the extra charge for the croquettes we didn't order. All in all, not recommended.

Friendly service, was still learning, will be fine

The staff wasn't very attentive. It took quite a while for orders to be taken. The restaurant was only moderately busy.

We had been waiting for 20 minutes for the service, but they were too busy chatting. The tables were not cleared and the mess of departed customers was still on the tables. We left without ordering anything. Not customer friendly.

We were back after seven years. We ate kibbeling, of course, which was very tasty and had a large portion. We sat outside and were served promptly, and the food arrived very quickly. Three different, friendly ladies asked us how we were doing many times. We were very satisfied and would love to come back again if we're in the area. Thank you very much and all the best. Highly recommended.

We had a delicious kibbeling meal, then took the motorbike to The Hague.

The location and ambiance were very nice. Unfortunately, the service staff were very unfriendly. We weren't even greeted and had to wait quite a while for someone to come to our table. The menu was only brought upon request. We were looking in vain for a friendly smile. We ordered Onze Kibbeling, or fish and chips. The chips were okay, but the fish was dry and simply tasteless. The plate cost €20.50, which we found truly outrageous. We certainly wouldn't eat here again.

Made a reservation by phone, after sitting for half an hour we had to ask ourselves if we could order a drink, then we went for the spareribs, COLD lol But they were lovingly thrown in the microwave, the place is really overrated It's also very ironic how the owner skipped our table during her half-hour round through the place to ask if everything was 'to our liking'

The spare ribs are the tastiest in North Holland, it was said. Let's test first. My conclusion, certainly true. Really delicious spareribs and good fries. What a pity that the service was really substandard. We had to wait far too long (read almost an hour) for our dessert. It may happen that you lose your booklet, but a sincere apology is appropriate. Instead, our dessert was just grumpily “thrown” onto the table. Shame!!

The food is fine. But the wait is far too long. It took 45 minutes to an hour to get our food, and it wasn't busy at all. Having to ask twice and then getting a snap back from a staff member who might have just turned 16 is a restaurant that's not doing it right. It's a shame.

The food was great. The fried cod wasn't greasy, so you don't feel like you're eating too much. Friendly service. The price-quality ratio was good. The view of the sea and harbor was fantastic.

On our trip to the Netherlands we randomly choose to go to the Noord pier. We were hungry and saw the sign for the Best Ribs at the Cafe Restaurant. We had to try. They didn’t disappoint!! They melted off the bone and were so flavorful both sweet and spicy. The view is icing on the cake. Highly recommend if you nearby.

Were here today, but had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come to us to ask what we wanted to drink/eat. There were only 2 other tables occupied. The waitress was very grumpy and couldn't smile, food was thrown on the table.

We went there for spar ribs on the advice of a friend, the meat was super tender, but the taste was very appropriately a bit sweet with a chemical aftertaste, the restaurant is practically next to Tata Steel, it took quite a while (more than 20 minutes) until they asked us what we wanted to drink, even though the restaurant was not full. Things didn't go well at checkout either, they just took a 2 euro tip, probably by accident..., which I let them keep out of politeness, considering the staff was friendly. Furthermore, I thought €26.95 was quite pricey for what you got, there was not enough meat, fries were very tasty, so 2 stars for the tenderness of the meat and the friendliness of the staff.

A paradise for anyone who needs to eat gluten-free. This owner knows how to do it! Definitely a cozy atmosphere with amazing food. If you're looking for the tastiest gluten-free kibbeling, Sea U is the place to be! We'd happily drive an hour there and back.

Always good at Sea You, no matter what you eat or drink. It's cozy and the service is very friendly, which is why we come here regularly.

Just had a great meal here with 5. Everything gluten free available with the exception of wraps, schnitzel and vlamtjes. Also many lactose free options. The brownie and dame blanche also very tasty!! Very friendly and help you with questions. Too bad about the fog. Pulled away at the end and revealed a beautiful view. Definitely recommended!

Worth a big 5 stars for us. In any case, we can order almost everything on the menu GLUTEN-FREE with confidence. Meat, fish and vegetarian, you choose. Fantastic view over the IJmond to the sea. Very friendly staff who do their utmost to make you happy, even in a time of staff shortages and messing around with QR codes on a table at the adjacent competitors. After dinner, relax on the North Pier. So Sea You is number 1 for us.

A cozy and hospitable restaurant with beautiful views over the canal and the pier. The food is excellent and for people with a gluten allergy, everything on the menu has an option of fresh fish or meat. For a nightcap you can also get a gluten-free bitterbal, all prepared from our own kitchen. Quite unique, we would love to come back.

I'm happy to drive a bit for fries and cod in a delicious tasting experience. It's the best place for that, and...no rancid oil. Excellent.

My mother really wanted to go here on August 28th. It happened to be a fantastically sunny and warm day. Everyone was on the beach. Inside, it was quiet. There were few staff, and the service was slow. The fish and chips and the Caesar salad with smoked salmon were okay, that's all.

Food good and large portions. Nice service Atmosphere is a bit unpleasant, could be brightened up with sea/sailing-themed items. Floor could use some paint Steak dish is very expensive, 32 euros

The older man looked awful, with his polo shirt covered in stains. He acted like the boss and acted like a grump, but the female colleague was very friendly. The food was excellent.

I couldn't believe my luck! Everything on the menu was gluten-free, except the wrap and apple pie (I think). The food was delicious, and the amount you get was amazing. Definitely recommended for people with intolerances. This owner/chef knows exactly what to do! Highly recommended!

It took a while before I could step foot back into Sea You after my husband's passing. We loved coming there for lunch after a long walk on the beach or a bike ride. Now I bring my "little pet" after a walk on the beach, and she lies quietly at my feet or sometimes with her head on my lap while I enjoy a delicious lunch and the friendly staff.

After a long time, I visited this restaurant again. It was a breath of fresh air. A fantastic view. The most beautiful in the Velsen area. You can see IJmuiden and the fortress island, as well as the boats coming to and from the locks. The kibbeling (fried fish) was excellent, and the fried sole were simply superb. Kudos to chef Rob. The waitress was very pleasant and did her job very well. Visiting this restaurant if you're in the area is an experience not to be missed.

Ok breakfast for a hefty price.

The atmosphere is not very pleasant, and the staff even less so. Especially the 'old woman' just snaps at you and is irritated towards you when she drops a spoon herself, the younger staff makes a lot of mistakes and is very disinterested. They also brought bread themselves, because the food took a while to arrive (no problem), but this was added to the bill afterwards. The owner is also not exactly customer friendly (I'm curious about the response to my review...). The food is fine, but not special. We will definitely not return here because of the staff.

Prima Restaurant waar je vriendelijk en enthousiast geholpen wordt. Eten is er ook zeer goed, complimenten aan de kok! Daarna een gezonde wandeling over Pier Acht met uitzicht over de Noordzee en je dag kan niet meer stuk. We komen hier zeker terug.

Nach einem Spaziergang eingekehrt, war fast alles Ok. Der Burger war lecker, könnte aber für das Geld - ca. 17 € - etwas größer sein. Aber schöne Aussicht rundum - Top ;-)).

Das Personal raucht am Tisch vor den Gästen und musste zur Bestellung aufgefordert werden. Erst die Zigarette zu Ende rauchen dann Bestellung aufnehmen, geht gar nicht 👎
