Delicious frozen cappuccino and comfortable to sit on!

Four of us ate there and initially noticed that the service was poor. Although there were four waiters around, no one seemed to care for our table. It took a long time, and we had to proactively approach the waiters before we were served. After we finally had our drinks, we ordered our meals: 2 hamburgers, 1 kg of French mussels, and 1 kg of Spanish mussels. When the meals finally arrived, one burger was missing because it had fallen in the kitchen and had to be remade—that can happen, and we don't hold it against the restaurant. However, we had ordered two different types of mussels and received a 2 kg pot of French mussels. I immediately approached the waiter and pointed out that this couldn't be right, as we had ordered two different preparations. So the large pot was taken away. The French mussels came back immediately, as they simply had to be transferred to a smaller pot. The Spanish mussels arrived 10 minutes later, but unfortunately, they weren't remade. Here, too, the remaining 1 kg of incorrectly prepared mussels had been transferred, some chorizzo had been sliced into them, and they pretended they were newly prepared mussels in a new broth. When we ordered more drinks in between, a bottle of water was also forgotten. Then we wanted to pay at some point and split the bill. Unfortunately, that absolutely didn't work, so the waitress had to come back. The first couple had to pay around €113, which was correct. Then the second couple's bill came: €145. This couldn't be right, since couple 1 had appetizers and more drinks; the bill for couple 2 had to be less. We, of course, pointed this out to the waiters, who took the bill again. The error was then passed off as a system error, and the correct bill was brought: €82. I don't assume this was a system error; if you added up the individual items on the bill, you got €82, and the total on the bill was €145. I wouldn't eat there again because the service was poor, they misled us with the food, and even tried to cheat us with the payment. I recommend that anyone who eats there check their receipt very carefully.

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of small and large dishes. The option to combine smaller portions into a single meal, similar to tapas, is particularly noteworthy. This means there's something for every taste and every appetite. The food also tasted really good; everything seemed to be freshly prepared. The service was also extremely friendly and helpful. The ambiance is also perfect; when the weather is nice, you can sit comfortably outside on the Vlissingen market square.

Great food. Everything is a surprise. The portions are absolutely reasonable, considering the increased prices. Excellent. We'll be back anytime, even as chefs.

Outdoor seating, excellent selection of food and drinks. Staff very knowledgeable and aware of allergies. We enjoyed a family late lunch, mixture of tapas and lunch menu. Recommend the honey chicken. 100 %

I'm a bit old school when it comes to restaurant service. The food wasn't anything special, and unfortunately, neither was the waitstaff. They were either overstaffed or understaffed, and if something ran out, they immediately took it away, as if they were bored. I also found the food quite pricey. Sorry, I can't say much more about it.

It's a shame that you haven't even finished your drink before your cup is cleared away and immediately afterwards you're asked if you want anything else.

All the stars go to the tall blonde woman with the bun. 5 stars for the service, slightly less for the food; it wasn't really to my taste. (For example, I've never had the patatas bravas so spicy.) The other staff were also friendly and helpful quickly. Excellent.

A fantastic location for a delicious bite to eat and a drink. Excellent menu and a wide selection of drinks. The staff are very welcoming, enthusiastic, and highly professional. Reasonable prices. So, I highly recommend stopping by. You definitely won't regret it.

We were greeted at 8:45 p.m. with a smile and good humor, despite the late hour. The dishes we chose were very good, served simply and in a green and welcoming setting. We didn't have to wait forever for our piping hot meals. What more could you ask for? We recommend it without hesitation. Whit Monday, June 9, 2025.

Best restaurant lunch experience. The waiter was super nice, loved the ambience and the big menu they had here, and the food was absolutely amazing. Get their Sandwich Souf and you should be good for your lunch, the chicken and the rest of the sauces and toppings were excellent. The egg was also yummy. The sisi was refreshing with a nice bubbly flavor. All of the other dishes we got were really nice as well, especially the butter chicken with their naan bread. Plenty of seating outdoor and indoors as well to best accommodate the guests too with many different seating options to offer, which I like as well. Worth stopping by here in Vlissingen for lunch for sure! Amazing!

Just had a drink on the nice, cozy terrace. Service was very friendly. Also for our dog some attention and immediately ask if he wants a bowl of water. The food that passed by also looked good.

When I'm in town for work I like to dine at this place. Excellent and very good dishes, excellent choice of drinks. When I'm in Vlissingen for work it's a pleasure to dine in this place, very good food and an excellent selection as regards drinks.

Delicious food and very friendly staff

We opted for the "sharing menu". Very tasty! The portions are just too big for us. Slightly smaller portions would allow you to try more different tapas. (Tip: the Tacos are great) The service and atmosphere were perfect.

Moderate. An empty aquarium, a chalkboard with everything half wiped, food that is OK but certainly not what you expect when you read the menu. I wouldn't recommend it. Very friendly!

Attractively decorated location. This afternoon the four of us had coffee here with a delicious piece of cake. Then had a drink with a portion of bitterballen and gyozo. Bitterballen were of poor quality. Hardly filled, so quite hollow. Gyozos had hard edges, so were not fully cooked. The employee then arranged for new bitterballen to arrive. Unfortunately, the cook probably took bitterballen from the same package. So hollow again. Shame.

Hier terecht gekomen omwille van de positieve beoordelingen. Slechtste ervaring ooit, mijn partner bestelde mosselen 1 kg volgens de kaart, iets meer als half kookpotje gevuld met minieme mosseltjes van een ondermaatse kwaliteit voor de prijs van 28,50 euro. Zelf had ik de garnaalkroketten, 2 kroketten 1 lichtgebakken en andere zeer donker gebakken. Garnalensmaak ver te zoeken, overheersende vissmaak. Verwachten toch dat als je in Vlissingen bent dat je minstens toch als je mosselen of garnaalkroketten besteld dat je lekker kan eten.

Excellent Italian restaurant with great food and friendly, competent service

What a pleasure to join SOIF again after many years. Great place for lunch and dinner. This time a well-filled fish soup and goat cheese salad. Pleasant service and a nice cup of coffee.

We took a short break here after the bike tour. Actually just wanted something to drink. Then we got hungry... Fish soup and onion soup... We have never eaten such delicious soups. I recently went to Café Solf for breakfast and it was really delicious! The portions were just right and were perfect for two people. The waiters were super friendly and looked after us very well. The quiet environment in the morning was particularly pleasant - just the right thing to start the day relaxed after a long evening. A great place for a relaxed breakfast that I can definitely recommend!

Ff een snel happie pakken, maar dan verassend aangenaam. Fijn terras met leuke bediening resulteert al snel in een bestelling van 4 oestertjes, boa bun, en de sticky chicken. Goede koude oesters, heerlijk boa bun met traag gegaard buikspek en heerlijk zuur plus lekkere krokante sticky chicken maakt het een verassend bezoek dat onze opinie 5 sterretjes waard is!

Had the "Honey glazed Salmon". Did not really enjoy it. Quite tasteless. Koriander dominated. Salmon not really "glazed". Not a bad food but I expected more creativity in the Kirchen. Very friendly service.

Delicious food! It wasn't that busy because of the rain, so the service was fast. And very attentive, with an empty drink I was immediately asked if I wanted to order something new. The shared dinner is recommended, the bao buns with pork belly are top of the line; deliciously cooked. The Iberico ribs are also nice and tender. Also asked during the meal whether everything was to your liking; where do you still see that!

After a comment that the hamburger was not cooked enough (a risk of salmonella), a new one was brought by friendly service and management.

The food was very tasty. But everything was served far too quickly. The cheese balls for the aperitif only arrived after the second dish was served. Ordered 15 minutes earlier. Otherwise it was a 5*.
