Sake Sushi in Binnenstad

Nice and tasty sushi restaurant where you order via smartphone. Nothing special, but not bad either. Just a nice place to eat some sushi. One tip: at 9 PM, the staff started eating their own meals: wraps with all sorts of toppings. That was a bit strange among all the guests.

The staff almost throws the food on the table, but the food is really tasty.

The food was great, and the price was perfectly reasonable. Ordering via mobile phone was straightforward and quite quick thanks to the pictures. The service was efficient and friendly. Personally, I found the decor a bit too dark. But otherwise, it was a nice atmosphere.

We eat here every week. It's really always good!

I need to eat gluten-free. That is possible here thanks to a clear menu; they also keep an eye out if something containing gluten is ordered and let you know.

the food was so good its insane we did a all you can eat with 2 people for only 70 bucks. for that we got unlimited sushi, steak, fruits and other dishes. it all tasted so good. the only bad part was that the staff barely talked to us. they just came over put the dish down and walked away. but they were fast. we had to scan a qr code to order on our phones. its always nice to order like that

Usually, I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this time, I decided to do it. Sake Sushi has always been a point of reference in Vlissingen, whenever I would like to go out for eating, because the food has always been of high quality. But lately, I don't know what's happened. Two times, my partner and I have gotten sick from eating there. The first time was six months ago, in December. It was really bad. We had diarrhea, vomiting, and we were sick for a few days. Mind you, I am pregnant and I don't eat raw food, and my partner is not very fond of raw fish, or even fish itself. But we let it go, and this weekend we decided, "Okay, let's go. It's been a while. Let's give it a second try." It was the worst mistake, because since yesterday we've been very, very sick with vomiting and diarrhea again. And it's very dangerous, especially for a pregnant woman, as I am. I was so dehydrated that I ended up in the hospital with IVF because I couldn't keep any liquids in, and it's so dangerous. I don't know if management has changed, or the cooks. All I know is that unfortunately, this place that used to be one of our favorite places to go, we will no longer go there. Although the staff is always nice, we always have a great time, and the decoration is beautiful, another thing that we noticed this time is that they wouldn't bring all the food that we ordered. And it all came in the end, cold even. So we had dishes upon dishes of food that we ordered in the first or second rounds, and we ended up paying for it to either leave it or take home. I don't know if that's on purpose, but it seems that we're not the only customers complaining about that. At least they should be able to keep better track of orders. The other time the lamb smelled like old and bad meat, we returned it and they brought us a fresher one. It's not nice having a bad experience twice.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at this sushi restaurant in Vlissingen. The ordering system is very limited, with only 5 items per person per round and a waiting time before ordering again, which makes the experience slow and restrictive. The portions are very small — most dishes come with just 1 to 3 pieces, which feels more like tasting portions than a proper meal. Drinks are also overpriced and limited in size, with no real larger soft drink options available. That said, the ice cream was actually very good. Overall, the concept felt overpriced for what is offered, and it did not meet my expectations for an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. I personally would not return.

Very bad, both food and service.

I've rarely eaten so badly. Weekend away, so I booked this in advance because I love sushi, and this immediately came up because of the good reviews. Anything but... After 40 minutes, I still hadn't received half of each round. We asked the staff several times, and they did their best (you could see them running around). But to no avail. Our neighbors didn't get their full round either, so they said, "We'll just keep ordering it." After a bone-dry chicken skewer and vinegary miso soup, we were done. We left our drinks and left. I've rarely left a restaurant so frustrated and disappointed. When we pointed this out to the staff at the checkout, they didn't even dare look at us. No hassle, because it was a waste of our energy and sick stomachs. But once and never again!

Loads of salt on the food, which is a smart move, as it makes you drink a lot more. It also takes a long time for the dishes to finally arrive. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

The sushi was quite varied; some were really good, but some were bone dry, even with soy sauce. The (hot) dishes also lacked flavor and weren't very warm.

The food is delicious! I eat here every year with my mother, and it's fantastic. The people who work here are also incredibly sweet.

We've been getting sushi delivered for years. Each time, it gets worse. This time, we ordered for €60, but the portions were smaller and the food was tasteless. Tasteless and a shame. We won't be ordering from here again.

Great sushi restaurant run by a Japanese family. Delicious food (both traditional sushi and warm dishes). All you can eat formula, but certainly not vulgar. Ordering is done with your smartphone. Friendly service. Cosy decorated place.

Service and atmosphere are excellent, I even had dinner a few times. But we always wondered why we drank so much more here than usual. On the last visit we noticed it even more, salty! So much salt is used in all dishes, so you will drink more. Too bad, but we won't be coming anymore.

All you can eat sushi. You can order up to 5 items per person per ordering round using your own cell phone. No limit on order rounds. Super quick preparation, no long waiting time. Fresh and top quality. Absolutely recommended in terms of taste. Courteous service. We come here to eat at least once every vacation.

Very tasty, cheap and all you can eat Asian food. The staff is also very friendly. It can sometimes be very busy, so you have to decide whether you can handle it, but it is highly recommended if you want to eat well and don't want to spend a lot of money.

We used to come here quite often, but it took a while because they never actually change the menu. Recently I saw that the menu has changed, but it is actually the same and not much innovation. It has become less itself. They have taken the gunkan with salmon off the menu that I always ordered. I hope that in the future they will come up with a new menu with more different sushi and we will definitely come back.

Tonight I visited sake and my experience was mixed. We had reserved a table, but the place was not pleasant. Luckily I was able to ask a member of staff to move us to another table, which she did. The food was tasty, but the waitress was not really friendly; When she brought the food she put it on the table, but there was no smile! Furthermore, we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. I also didn't find the atmosphere in the restaurant very inviting.

Normally no complaints. Had dinner here again last week with a friend. Both had symptoms consistent with food poisoning after 1 day. Tried to contact sake but unfortunately no response...

Unfortunately a big bummer. Atmosphere and staff are mediocre, but we don't think that is very important. The food was just 9/10 cold! Whether it was because of the food elevator or because they were too busy with takeaway/delivery, I have no idea. But really substandard. Sushi NOT FRESH! Ordered 3 different dishes with steak and 2/3 were just as tough as chewing gum. Desserts such as the brownie and lemon pie were still frozen. €100 just thrown away... The fact that there were only two/three tables occupied on a Sunday evening at 6:30 PM, which apparently also included people with a social deal, explains a lot.

Wir waren als Paar an Silvester zum Abendessen da. Für 35€ pro Person liegt das All you can eat für mich in der mittleren bis höheren Preisklasse. Für mich als Veganerin zum Glück gekennzeichnete Speisen (zwar nur vegetarisch gekennzeichnet, aber viele davon sind vegan). Mir hat alles gut geschmeckt, nur der tofu war steinhart. Die 35€ haben sich für mich nicht gelohnt, aber mein Freund, der Fleisch/ Fisch isst und vorallem recht viel essen kann, hat es sich eher gelohnt, aber auch er beschrieb das Fleisch/ Fisch als eher trocken. Wir würden nicht nochmal hingehen, aber es war okay.

The food is delicious and so are the desserts! We simply never received a few ordered dishes. "It's quite busy in the kitchen downstairs." Yeah, so? Too bad the duck has been taken off the menu. Another tip for Sake Sushi: put the less salty Kikoman on the tables! So old-fashioned to use that salty Kikoman. So bad for blood pressure. And drinks will be ordered anyway, you don't have to let that happen 😜.

There is a QR code at the table that you can use to run the app on your cell phone and orders are placed quickly. The service is very on point and the food is delicious, the fish is super fresh and of excellent quality. You can park in the underground car park on site.

Nice all you can eat sushi bar. Enough choices. Some dishes available at an additional cost. Hot and cold dishes, 5 per round. Are served separately, so sometimes you have to wait a while for the hot dishes. Drinks cost extra. Nice cocktail or mocktail as a welcome.

Poor quality sushi was already ready, not cool at a temperature of 23-24 degrees... Tasted very soggy.

We eat sushi very regularly, but we have never experienced anything as bad as this before! All sushi was pre-made in silver containers that had NOT been cooled (inside temperature at least 24 degrees) and therefore soggy and not fresh at all! Hopefully we don't get sick from this! Stay away from here people!

It really depends on the day what the service is like. You notice that sometimes communication is a bit more difficult. The food is always very tasty!! We always like to make a reservation. It is often quite busy.

We ended up here by chance on a rainy day to eat ramen and it was consistently delicious. After a friendly welcome, you order everything directly to the table using your cell phone, despite all you can eat. We ate our way through three of the soups, some sushi, salad and some more and everything was absolutely delicious. I would love to come back and eat here. The price-performance ratio was also absolutely great, thank you for the good food

I had been planning to eat at Sake Sushi for a while. It finally happened and I can only say, 'worth repeating'! Delicious food and nice concept.

Just ordered food for 60 euros! There were literally 2 hairs in it! 1 in the ginger, and 1 in the rib eye! The rib eye was also simply raw! I'm not used to this from sake. So disappointing!!

Nice All-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. The rice was sometimes soggy and occasionally resembled a compressed ball. Furthermore, the food was delicious! The seasam balls are recommended! Very nicely received and an effective concept explanation. You order via the QR code on the table. Didn't speak to any other staff. The food came very quickly at first, but once the place was full you sometimes had to wait a little longer and everything came in phases. In addition, it was a bit cold near the window side. Now 4 stars, it would have been 5 stars if the timing of the food was better, the temperature in the restaurant was more pleasant and the staff took the first drinks at the beginning of the evening instead of ordering themselves.

With the all you can eat you can order 5 dishes per person. The dishes come together smoothly and beautifully. The quality is good, both of the sushi and the hot dishes.

Bij binnenkomst moesten we zelf vragen of iemand onze tafel kon activeren. Sushi proefde niet vers, de overige gerechten waren wel vers. Eten was soms niet warm, dat stond wel al klaar maar werd niet uitgeserveerd. Waarschijnlijk personeels tekort. 50 min op 2 bakjes ijs moeten wachten…. Dit was de druppel voor ons om weg te gaan Personeel was vriendelijk

Not recommended, food is not tasty, dry and not fresh. In addition, food is packed in the middle of the restaurant for the delivery service. Staff are not friendly at all, don't say a word to you and put everything on the table without saying a word.

I don’t normally write a review but I have to say I felt the need today. What a nice place .The food was great. I’m old fashioned so I was a bit shocked to find that you have to use a QR code thingy to order everything. (In the time he took to explain everything I could have ordered ha ha.)Turns out it’s more of an all you can eat place which is why the QR thingy works best. When it came time to pay the chap was so nice he said that since we didn’t order much he charged us the a la cart price instead . How often does that happen? So yes I highly recommend the restaurant for prompt food ,good service and for generally not wanting to rip me off. Oh and everyone spoke great English.

It's been a long time since it was a nice shop with good sushi and the side orders were also very good. I couldn't even take a decent picture because of how hungry I was and how fast the service was. Again and again

I will never eat here again, all meats are as tough as shoe leather and the sushi snacks are tasteless. I even got sick from it and had to throw up......yuck!
