You could just sit on the terrace, no service.

Stayed 3 nights and will never stay again... Elevator broken, which is great if you have difficulty walking and have to climb that spiral staircase! Outdoor lighting broken Balcony furniture too filthy to sit on Microwave broken Kitchenette faucet was loose Soap dispenser in shower broken Smell in the room Beautiful view🤮 2 cheap coffee pods per day No privacy because the neighbor can just walk in through the balcony. This place is simply being milked dry with minimal resources.

Too young and inexperienced staff, but we had a great time at my cousin's wedding.

Cozy, atmospheric, lively, very tasty, good drinks, and perfect with the hotel above. Lovely terrace, the whole place dog-friendly, and a real "homecoming" feeling.

Stadscafe the Ballroom! Dat is waar het nu om draait en wat een goede keuze om dit te doen. Nog steeds lekker eten en de prijs is ook goed nu. Ik blijf fan van de gyoza groente en jullie rose is zo lekker. Ongedwongen sfeer en gezellige uitstraling. Ook in de zon op het terras is het lekker vertoeven hier. Leuke cocktails en toffe mocktails. Goede bierkaart ook, een lekker uiltje van de tap gaat er altijd wel in! Ook de mogelijkheid om te kunnen darten en biljarten is natuurlijk een mooie bijkomstigheid. Ga er eens heen en ontdek hoe gezellig het is!

It was fine, but not exceptional. The dishes looked beautifully presented and were delicious, but there were very few vegetarian options. The atmosphere is somewhere between a restaurant and a café. We also kept smelling cigarettes; it was probably smoking somewhere. It was nice for a one-off, but we wouldn't go again.

Super delicious food, great ambience, nice service! Really recommended. The restaurant is located in a small square, a little away from the hustle and bustle. Great terrace with comfortable chairs. The service is outstanding and the food is great. Price-performance match. We recommend!

Great hotel for a great price and in a prime location

Samen met 8jarige hier wezen dineren, het all-you-can-eat menu zag er veelbelovend uit. Aangegeven dat er een lactose-intolerantie was, en hier werd echt fantastisch rekening mee gehouden en in meegedacht. Er werd zelfs vooruitgedacht over een mogelijk te pittige saus voor het kind. Het eten was in 1 woord uitmuntend; heerlijk bereid, mooie porties en goed heet. Je kan echt merken dat er werk in gestoken wordt. Geweldige ervaring dus, en we gaan hier zeker nog eens eten.

Had an all you can eat meal on King's Day. It was fine! Nice atmosphere, wide choice of dishes and friendly service.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary last Saturday, April 6, 2024. What a great location this was to celebrate. Coincidentally, on this day there was also a public holiday in Vlissingen. There was a large stage on the square with live music which was super cool. The Ballroom is very beautifully and attractively decorated and we were allowed to decorate it extra and we certainly would have done that. We received help from all sides and the staff was so sweet and helpful. In the evening a delicious BBQ was organized by the location, which was incredibly delicious. Then we went to the dance floor and were served delicious drinks and we went to look at the stage together. When we were at the front we were also invited to come on stage. All in all an unforgettable evening, great service and very good communication between them and us. We were a group of about 45 people.

A very nice location for a good bite to eat and a lot of fun. The chef clearly has product knowledge and behind the bar they fill the glasses with matching drinks. The new cafe snack is also highly recommended.

Spare ribs dry, vegetarian satay stick not very tasty. Furthermore, excellent food. Carpaccio and steak recommendations! Service extremely slow. Fifteen minutes between two tapas dishes didn't make me happy. Waitress not very sympathetic. Only after a second expression of displeasure did she agree and we were given an extra half hour to order. Due to the poor service and slow service, I wouldn't go here again.

Good food but there are areas for improvement: - service was disappointing, after 45 minutes only the 2nd dish and I think that is too long for a tapas. When the waitress' attention was drawn to this, an argument arose. I don't think this is nice. Ultimately I was allowed to sit for 30 minutes longer, so this was a neat solution. - Soups were very disappointing, onion soup was a kind of maggi with water unfortunately and the tomato soup was also very salty. - carpaccio and steak gravy were really tasty. Many desserts were also very tasty. - a bit more expensive than worth it, I think, 40 euros per person excluding drinks.

Is a tent made for people with a long breath, lasts forever. Also unfriendly people serving. Also quite pricey, when there is so much space between each round. In addition, 4.50/8 euros for a draft beer. After reporting our dissatisfaction, the kitchen remained open half an hour longer. Nicely resolved.

Ongedwongen, vriendelijke bediening. We hebben de keuze van de chef genomen. Eten was lekker. Drie soorten friet en veel vlees. Van mij had een bakje friet ingewisseld mogen worden voor een lekkere salade. Ik miste wat groens. Aan het eind werden we nog verrast met een compleet dessert. Ruimschoots genoeg eten.

TO AVOID "All you can eat mussels" the evening started off well, unfortunately my friend who doesn't like mussels asked for bifstek fries in salad. To his great surprise with a stone in his salad. Complained to the owner, but rude, he insinuated that we put it ourselves. Then at the kitchen the owner/cook says we have to leave the restaurant. We were a group of 7 people. DISPLAY. I will inform my network as much as possible. IN THE NAME OF HEAVEN DON’T GO HERE I hope I get charged with defamation, do it. If the owner would have apologized the matter would have been closed but he did not. We will not return to this restaurant again. Mussel meal with stone in salad. Inconspicuous bar with pool and darts. Insanely good and delicious cuisine. Anyone who likes smoked chicken or pulled pork will be rewarded. The fish was also incredibly fresh and the homemade tartar sauce had a kick. Definitely worth a visit!

Sint Barnadus Abt 12 on tap is the only reason to visit this place.

The Ballroom is een aangenaam ongedwongen cafe restaurant. Uitstekende, vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Naast typische café gerechten ook een uitstekend aanbod aan diverse steaks van diverse herkomst en ze weten hoe ze die goed kunnen bereiden. Daarbij een redelijke wijnkeuze. Fijne ervaring en uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Sit here for a drink and snack. Mojito was tasty. As a snack with drinks we went for the tapas croquettes. We got 8 croquettes the size of a potato croquette. Very tasty, but no sauce or skewer/forks included and it cost a whopping €15. That really didn't hurt

Helaas was de vlaamse stoof echt beneden peil (geen smaak en erg vet). Compensatie was een bakje frites. Jammer! Dit kan echt beter

Friendly service but the food (social deal menu) is really not good. It was also cold in the shop because people went in and out to smoke.

Both the nachos and garlic bread tasted like rancid oil and were inedible. The salad was there just cucumbers and onions without dressing. The bill was brought without us asking for it (kicked out?). The fact that the nachos and the bread were returned almost untouched was accepted without comment and no question was asked as to whether something was wrong. Unfortunately not recommended.

Unfortunately, a lot comes out of one package and that is a shame. My advice would be to serve a number of simple but good fresh dishes instead of 5 courses that don't really make the cut.
