Grand Café De Schutterij in Binnenstad

It's a shame that it's closing for half a year in November for renovations.

Before the movie, we had a bite to eat at the cinecafe. It looked very atmospheric inside, and the staff was very friendly. We ordered the mixed grill platter for two. The order arrived very quickly. We were disappointed that the meat was quite tough and didn't have much flavor. The fries were also a bit sparse. The platter did look nice, with pepper sauce, tapenade, and herb butter. The dessert was very tasty: the raspberry meringue with vanilla ice cream.

I ate here yesterday. I don't know how they prepared the kapsalon, but it was special excelent. It was different than other average kapsalon. A little bit caramelised taste, and tasty juicy. I didn't need any garlic souce, or chili souce, because it was so delicious itself. The chef said he make the best Kapsalon. He was right. I really enjoyed.
