Before the movie, we had a bite to eat at the cinecafe. It looked very atmospheric inside, and the staff was very friendly. We ordered the mixed grill platter for two. The order arrived very quickly. We were disappointed that the meat was quite tough and didn't have much flavor. The fries were also a bit sparse. The platter did look nice, with pepper sauce, tapenade, and herb butter. The dessert was very tasty: the raspberry meringue with vanilla ice cream.

I had spareribs, but I didn't find them as good as the previous times I'd eaten them at Cinecafe. They stuck to the bone. And were a bit tough. A missed opportunity.

We had a drink here while waiting and that was fine.

A great location with a wide range of possibilities. Enjoy a wonderful movie and replenish your energy with a snack and drink. A charming ambiance and decor. The key words here are hospitality and expertise. Note that these are capitalized. A visit to this acclaimed venue is absolutely highly recommended.

On Wednesday, September 24th, my friend and I were "guests" at CineCafe. That turned out to be a big mistake. We ordered mixed grill to share... Was there anything to share? Hardly any. Three 3mm thick pieces of what we suspected were beef-like meat, dry flakes of grits, about 7-8 cm x 4 cm. Two freeze-dried chicken breasts and a piece of even drier pork. That was it. How to share those six utterly failed bakes is a complete mystery. Three whole rosti rounds per person, a bowl of salad without dressing, a small earthenware bowl of watery pepper sauce (nice and easy to microwave), a load of mayo in a stainless steel container, and two paper cups with something that was supposed to be herb butter, but we still don't know where to put that substance. Bread was included, and not included, for example. Spoons for sauce were not provided. For all that, you have to pay an additional €24.95 per person, shameless!!! BAD, DISGUSTING, TOTAL FAILURE, makes absolutely no sense. Give it a wide berth.

We had reserved a table. Upon arrival, it was chaos. It wasn't clear where to go for a reservation. The staff didn't look up or around. It was also very inconvenient that not every server was allowed to take an order. An English-speaking server didn't understand a thing and reacted rudely. We were seated right next to a large group's buffet. It was very annoying to have a table next to a busy buffet, and it wasn't tidy. The table wasn't set for other reserved tables either. After a 30-minute wait, we still couldn't order anything because the staff didn't have a bird's-eye view. We were completely ignored. We left and went to a Chinese restaurant on Badhuisstraat, where we were treated hospitably and had a delicious meal. The next day, we tried it again for a drink. Another 30-minute wait, and no order was taken. I went to the bar and told them we wanted to order. I didn't feel taken seriously and was more or less laughed at for having to wait so long. Ordering at the bar wasn't possible. Strange, and it calls itself a café? They said: "We'll come to your table." I told them not to be in the line where I'm sitting. I went back to the table. The employee in question went to take another order first. Then it was my turn. It turned out I was at a reserved table, by the way. But I ordered a meal anyway. I thought, "Just make sure the service is better." Cine cafés used to be better. But now it's gone downhill. Terrible service, in other words.

Delicious food, again this time. The grilled dish for two is fantastic, more than enough, and so flavorful. The service was also very attentive. A pleasure to eat here.

Although there was an initial hiccup with a long wait to take orders, this was more than compensated for with a free drink. We enjoyed fish and chips and the Cineburger. They were delicious, both hot and flavorful, with delicious fries. The Dame Blanche dessert and the Deep Dish Cookie were delicious. The service, after the manager briefly came over, was excellent. The Film by the Sea atmosphere was a joy to watch.

The service was very friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly. The food was delicious. The Chef's Burger was so filling that I didn't want dessert. The fries were also very tasty. The mayonnaise, as almost everywhere, was a bit sparse. My wife was also very pleased with the kibbeling (fried fish). All in all, a good experience.

I have been here before and the food was always great.last time the burger was not good cooked but they did everything to let us have a good meal back.Was well apreciated and the service more than 5 stars.thank you girls

Nachos chicken for 2 people is not recommended, a little nachos, a little chicken and some cheese and then they dare to ask almost €20 for it.

Sadly not as good anymore as it used to be. Prices have gone up a lot and portions have gone down. Still had a good enough experience but did notice a lot of changes since my last visit.

Beautiful complex with a cinema, bar-restaurant and library. We were welcomed directly to our table and they offered us drawings with pencils and pencil sharpeners for our children 🥰. The prices are very reasonable and the plates are quite large. My wife and I had the movie hamburger and the children had the children's menu with croquette, fries, mayonnaise sauces and applesauce with tomatoes and cucumbers. They loved our hamburger with fries. Desserts: white lady and 2 children's ice creams (the children's ice creams are accompanied by a candy that once in the mouth, it sparkles

Bad service is only behind the bar, you have to raise your hand to order a new drink, that's not how it should be. Don't ask if you enjoyed it either. Unfortunately I also got food poisoning, I ordered a cine burger where the minced meat was still raw. I didn't dare say anything about it.

We come quite regularly, but there has been no upward trend in terms of food over the last year... What is new on the menu is rarely an addition to write home about. The spareribs were always perfect, now it was ok. The burgers also looked pitiful, I have rarely seen them so thin. The pumpkin carrot cake was really dry and unedible, this was resolved nicely. It has really been a lot better, hopefully there will be an upward trend again. The service, on the other hand, was fine 👍

The menu also includes vegetarian dishes (indicated by vega) and vegan dishes. I had “Vegan Groentepannetje” oven-baked vegetables with falafels. The vegan tarte flambée also sounded very good.

Spacious bar with a huge selection of tap beer. A young friendly man with black curly hair recommended 2 beers to me, both of which were 10/10. All in all, great place!

Recently had a Korean BBQ chicken salad as a main course. For € 18.95 you can expect something, but it was mainly a lot of lettuce. There were 3 pieces of chicken on the salad. When I said something about this they took the salad back to the kitchen. Instead of chicken I got lots of sesame seeds, spring onion and a little crispy onion. I have no problem paying for food, but the price/quality has to be right and that was clearly not the case here. Pity!

Overall I was satisfied. The food was tasteful, could be a little more. The service wasn't that attentive. It took a long time before we were served.

This Grandcafe is inviting, even when there are only a few people. And since I spend the night in Vlissingen for work, I usually eat here alone. That doesn't feel unpleasant in this cozy setting. The service is friendly and the place settings are served within a reasonable time. I eat the double trouble double hamburger. This one is, rightly, famous for its size. Delicious and filling.

Cinema bistro... relatively large. Service and staff top! The Cineburger was surprisingly good. Lots of good beers on tap!

If you want a good hamburger you should eat it here.

Nice atmosphere, staff friendly. Nice that they have a wide choice of beers on tap. Bread board beforehand was fine. Chicken satay was pre-cooked, you can taste that it was not fresh from the grill. Flamm kuchen ditto, dough was not fresh but purchased and warmed up. Main courses were disappointing, price/quality not in balance.

Tonight Spare ribs with salad and fries. Tasty, good portion too. Nice girls and boys in the service. Nice to have something to eat here after the movie. As a bonus, the Pipes and Drums of Vlissingen in concert on your doorstep.

The risotto was more like rice porridge than risotto. Moreover, the service was not very friendly.

Bad service. Daily menu, for example, unknown to staff (just look online, they say). Not eating well (both got sick from smoked salmon). And the atmosphere is downright canteen atmosphere. Food arrived way too late in combination with the movie and we had a whole hour. We would have liked to have an after and/or starter, but that was no longer possible due to time.

The service was very slow. We had dinner here and were only able to order 1 drink because we received no further attention from the service, which is a shame!

Not attentive to (new) guests. After a while you walked away... especially if you saw the manager(?) smoking outside next to the terrace.

Separate dish and no choice possible with the combination menu with cinema and therefore the price ratio with food I thought was really expensive excluding drinks, so with the combination deal 1 main course with 1 small fries for 2 people with cinema

Valentine's Day is very bad here, we went here to eat and have a drink, there was plastic in my food, the manager called through the shop and eventually your food was reimbursed after talking to 2 people who already said that they had a short fuse and that it was terrible to be treated like that and I felt very embarrassed, the servers who helped were very nice, the manager could follow an example.

The food was very good. The service was friendly. Nice music in the background. Only the atmosphere was a bit less.

Having a bite to eat with colleagues before going to the movies. Luckily we had already made a reservation in advance because it was quite full when we arrived. When we were complete we started with a drink. Use the nachos and bread with dips as a tasty dish to share with everyone. Then almost all of us went for the spare ribs. And for those with room for dessert, we opted for a small version of the sweet dessert. Also with a view to the late movie and a long way back home by car. It's nice that your food is taken into account if you want to see a movie and you can book tickets in advance through them.

Double Trouble is recommended for the big eater. Or else you can take the rest with you to enjoy it a second time.

All tables have been reserved, so film festival visitors can only have a drink outside in an open tent in the cold and rain. There was no service at the bar. Not very customer friendly!

Still a nice and cozy dinner before going to the cinema. The satay and the famous Cineburger are still as usual! Next time experiment more with the new variants of the burger!

A bit of a mixed experience; One of the ladies serving was super good and friendly (clearly more experience). The other two were mainly busy with their nails. The food was very good and tasty! Especially for the location. Furthermore, it is of course great that they take the start time of the film into account and it is certainly not too expensive, so highly recommended!

Restaurant Cine Café is definitely worth eating there. It has a cozy atmosphere and you can enjoy delicious food. And they have a lot of beers on tap. If I want to have something to eat with friends, I often suggest going to the Cine Café restaurant in Vlissingen near the cinema. O.a. for their burgers. But what particularly struck me is their customer friendliness. And I've experienced that several times. So it's not a one-time thing. I recently went to Cine Café to eat a delicious "Cine burger". But when the waitress placed my order on the table, I was shocked to discover that it had a fried egg on it. 🤦‍♂️And if there's one thing I don't like, it's egg on my burger. The waitress saw from my reaction that something was wrong. And asked if it was okay? So I told him I don't like eggs. But. . . that it was my fault. I should have asked in advance when ordering if it could be done without egg. And I was already thinking how am I going to throw away that egg? The waitress very kindly picked up my burger again and said: "Oh, that's no problem sir, we will make it right, you will get another one." Well I was just surprised outside! Now that is customer-friendly thinking. Before the customer even has to say or ask anything, come up with a solution. Super. My compliments. And anyone who has ever eaten the "Cine Café Burger" knows that it is a whole meal and that there are few burger restaurants that can match it in terms of taste and size. So you definitely don't have to hesitate to eat there. I wish all employees the best of luck. And everyone who eats there. . .I wish tasty food. 😋👍

Good service, quick service, delicious food

Salad had a good taste, but for over 16 euros we expected a little more imagination. Lettuce with tomato, olives and chicken on a plate with 2 enormous croutons, well. The burger was great. Quite a lot of bread in proportion, but the taste is delicious. Fast, friendly service who often comes to the table to ask if everything is OK, even when you are visibly engaged in a serious conversation. Staff are smoking in front of the shop, not a nice sight.

Before I came here I was very hungry. The food was not a disappointment and was very tasty and the service was also friendly. The hamburger was delicious and well-sized. The chair was so comfortable that I ended up ordering 2 more desserts and 3 glasses of wine. The bill was so high that I couldn't afford food for the entire week and actually felt even hungrier than I already was. Next time I'll have Noodles.

Good place to have a bite or drink something if you are willing to wait for a bit. They do take the time that you might have to catch a movie in account. But the wait for food is on the rather long side of the spectrum.

Would you like to have a drink on Saturday evening after the 9.15 pm film? While you wait for your son to go to another movie? Forget it. Cafe = closed. Too sad for words.
