Café Swart in Wijk 21 Oude Haven

Friendly bar! We were warmly welcomed and given advice on which beers to try. Great atmosphere and beautiful decor.

We initially found it a pleasant cafe. Unfortunately, they write with a fork. When I pointed out that I'd been overcharged, I got a scornful look. It's perfectly fine to make a mistake with the bill, but then they should fix it properly. This was rude, and I feel ripped off. It's a real shame.

Cozy atmosphere, wide choice of drinks

We came here to have a drink after a concert of Drukwerk. There was a theme night in the peaky blinders style but we were allowed in. Nice atmosphere and a good dj who played there. We had a nice evening, worth repeating.

Nice place for a drink. I just haven't experienced the staff seeming to enjoy their work.

Went during the autumn bucking tour. Once again it was well organised

18 euros for an expresso martini that was made with pre mix. Terrible worst cocktail I've had and the price was shocking. Nice staff and location.

What a wonderful café, the crowd is very friendly and the service is top notch. We always like to come here when we go out. We do not compare prices as the ambiance also contributes to the enjoyment.

Atmospheric café with good music and nice people

Simply Café Swart, where Gambrinus used to be, is now Swart and has been a great place for an evening of fun for years, especially during Grijs Ge Draaid, or the Swarte Goud evening... Jupiler and Hertog Jan on tap and plenty of choice of other drinks.

Nice setting right in the middle pf the Red Light District. You can seat outside or inside. There is heating lights for when sitting outside. Our server was so-so. The nacho plate was a bit underwhelming and the washroom not well kept.
