Great bands on Friday nights. Good atmosphere, a pub a little different from the others on Dam Square.

Een geweldig muziekcafé waar op de een vrijdag- of zaterdagavond rock en metal de boventoon kunnen voeren. Op een doordeweekse dag of zondagmiddag komen de americana en country omhoog. Voor ieder wat wils dus. De sfeer is altijd top. Iedereen is welkom. Voor de locals, maar zeker ook voor expats en toeristen. Karaoke, pubquiz, silentdisco of gewoon een gezellige avond met goede muziek. Be at Heroes just for one day or many more.

Although it is not a restaurant and food cannot be ordered here, I still gave it five stars. Simply because 10 stars total for atmosphere and service is not enough for this place. Regular fun evenings with live music, a silent disco with a battle between 2 DJs, vinyl evenings, theme parties at Halloween or a bad Christmas sweater evening at Christmas. Is there nothing special to do? Even then, an evening at Heroes is still special. Second living room for many!

What a cool place! 😎 Great atmosphere, and just excellent music! They have a fantastic selection of beers, including my favorite, Duvel, as well as a nice menu of specialty mixed drinks. 😄 They also have outside tables, which is great if you want to enjoy the sunshine, or the coolness of the evening. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be coming back!

I did not have any food, I went back to Heroes bar after a couple of years, and the owner remembered me, which made me feel great , Heroes has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are easy to talk to, they have a wonderful range of beers and spirits, and I can't wait to go back again.

The new premises are a much larger copy of the old bar. The atmosphere is still the same.

A week ago, Heroes moved up a few doors. The building is much bigger, but still has the same great atmosphere, nice people and good music! There is now plenty of room to play darts and hopefully soon also live music. Fancy!

Great atmosphere and brilliant bartender/owner. He made us custom drinks, played our song requests and was all around great. Very cost efficient also!

I found this place by chance, and I'm ssooooo happy I did. Small but cozy place. The staff are just outstanding and the music superb. This is a must if you stay in. Zaandam. You'll feel at home.

Fantastic bar. Loved it from day one. You feel welcome from the first minute you’re in, the beer is perfectly tapped, and the music selection is great. I did not feel the need to probe anywhere else, Heroes it is !

Heroes is a great place to meet friends and relax, the owner is amazing and the service is great to, good Ale and Spirits menu and good coffee, I would recommend a visit anytime your in Zaandam and I can't wait to visit again 😊

Vandaag voor het eerst in Zaandam. En kwamen langs heroes. Smiddags al een klein drankje gedaan, was al super gezellig. Savonds nog terug gegaan voor een paar borrels aan de bar. Super gezellig personeel, goede sfeer. Voor ons niet om de hoek (komen uit Brabant) maar gaan zeker nog eens terug komen hier. Top bar!

Super leuke eerste ervaring mee gemaakt. Personeel/en de eigenaar waren erg vriendelijk en ze laten je thuis voelen. Zeker een aanrader om hier een keer naar binnen te stappen om wat te drinken.

If you're a true music, beer and spirit fan then this is the place for you. Best night in Amsterdam and so many recommendations for an authentic experience. An absolute must for those looking for a real experience. I'll be back.....terminator reference was an unfortunate coincidence....music is top notch. Real tunes

Me and the wife called in for a beer. Ended up staying for a few more. Had a great night everyone in the bar made us feel welcome had a few game's of darts as well. Would go back next time we in Amsterdam and recommend it to anyone in the area to call for a beer you won't be disappointed Darren & Catherine

Gouden tent. lekkere rock en als Jayh Samson achter de draaitafel plaatsneemt wordt het pas echt een feestje. Regelmatig live muziek of andere activiteiten....ik word er blij van!
