A place where you definately want to have a quiet beer....and only perhaps....you might find love....

Four stars because you can't really eat there, just a toasted sandwich and some snacks. A lovely terrace well-protected from the cold and rain. Friendly and efficient service.

The Templar is a cozy Cafe with friendly staff and good beer (+ all other soft drinks and stronger brews). Bring your own friends or start talking to the people already there. It's actually always fun 😀

It's always nice when you come there. It quickly gets cramped inside when there are a lot of people. You can't eat nuts or snacks there, but I think it's quite expensive.

The well-known rejection technique; 'Nothing can be found on cameras' doesn't work for me. Because again, the camera is tight. You are just a number and people choose 'cleaning up the pub' over viewing images with the chance that the thief is still around somewhere.

Bouncer refuses women at the door and makes misogynistic comments. I normally think the Templar is a nice, pleasant place, but I would still take a critical look at your door staff. Afterwards we no longer had to come in with the entire group, so you also lost a lot of turnover because of this. It concerns the bouncer who was at the door on 21-12-23! Nasty little guy 👎👎

Very nice pub for all ages. Had a nice evening and will definitely do it again.

Idiot bartender, come in and ask if I can order. (1 person..), 'I'll be right with you', while he had nothing to do. 10 (!) minutes later a group comes in, they are helped immediately, and when I make a comment about what's going on with me I get a big mouth. Once was a good cafe, now it's a shitty place.

We always enjoy coming back to the restaurant. Cappuccino with appeltaart and cream are mandatory for us. Always a pleasure when we are in Nijmegen. Thanks to the friendly, helpful staff.

Lovely Cafe with an excellent terrace

There I was, sitting on a bar stool staring at the map. The beer list was vague, I saw special beer but without percentages. The only percentages I saw were for the 0.0% beer. I spent at least 6 minutes and 33 seconds thinking about which beer to gamble on, it was like roulette, a 1 in 16 chance that I would have a beer of around 8%. I went for the Rochefort 10, in retrospect a good choice of 11.2% but far away from my expectations for a soft beer. It was fine under the heat lamps, the warm glow covered my aura. Outside was better than inside, inside it is small. The toilet is so small that if you stand at the back of the toilets you have to tap someone else on the shoulder to ask if you can pass after urinating. They can certainly adjust the beer menu with percentages, otherwise a beautiful view at the beginning of the city.

It is centrally located, but does not have the same feeling as other cafes and pubs on Molenstraat, it has much more atmosphere.
