Café Topido in Kinkerbuurt

Filthy wet toilets where you almost slip, strong sour urine smell. The outside terrace is not too bad. Service depends on the women who worked there, a blonde woman dressed in black who always looked angry, grumpy and hates certain freedom behaviors, we as Café Topido visitors will take that into account. Finally. There are plenty of other places, tents or cafes in Amsterdam where you can enjoy and do nice things such as laugh, chat, get acquainted and so on, so avoid this establishment

This is from the group of Belgians from last week. The barista is a fantastic lady who created a fantastic atmosphere. We loved it!

Cozy coffee house and cafe. Delicious coffee and super nice atmosphere. The owner is the granddaughter of the famous Mr. Topido, very nice and everything is allowed, nothing is required.

Easygoing day bar next to the Ten Katemarkt. The bar is family business being ran by the family for many years. Mostly visited by locals. The lady who runs the bar now is very friendly and welcoming. You feel like a regular from the first visit.

Lovely little neighborhood market café. Not trendy at all, thank goodness. Just kind, funny staff and good drinks. Great place to watch life on the market!

Very unique place which we passed many times while being on the Ten Katermaarkt but never entered untill a Sunday when they organized a wine tasting event. Super nice staff and selection of drinks

A bar that opens and closes in time with the market. So though Google Maps says that the hours are 12 to 6, the lady running the place told us it was more like 7 to 7 (at least on the Friday we visited). She seemed proud to be manning it by herself, welcoming anyone who wanted a drink or a coffee, from the twitchy and sleepless early crowd to the local unemployed and clueless out-of-towners like ourselves. We had a cold crisp beer and a strong americano and couldn't fault either. Would come back. Am sure if you spent long enough here you'd be bound to hear some stories.

Als je de drukte wilt ontlopen en in een mooi deel van A dam met super leuke markt een koffie en/ of een drankje wil doen is dit een aanrader.

No nonsense cafe waar je rustig je telegraaf kunt lezen en een saffie doen met de barvrouw!

Mwah. Op de een of andere manier verwacht ik van een cafe dat behoort bij een slijterij, meer. Bediening vriendelijk, uitzicht op markt fijn, maar toch. Tosti bijvoorbeeld niets bijzonders, ook de koffie niet herinneringswaardig. Kom uit je slome toestand s.v.p.

Zeer leuk dagcafe waar je langs kan komen voor een hapje en een drankje. De dames achter de bar zijn aardig en professioneel.

It's okay. Nothing special. The service who seemed to be the owner to was kind of cool in her comments. We had breakfast there and it was just little bit dry if you would describe it. Coffee was better than average.

Este café parece ser frequentado por locais. A garçonete conhecia os clientes e a atmosfera é super bacana. Hospedamos em frente e fomos tomar uma cerveja e fomos super bem atendidos. Boa memórias deste lugar!

Het is een café met vaste gasten en buurtbewoners, met groot terras. tijdens de marktdagen komen er veel bezoekers binnen, ook in de buurt gelegen hotels en de Hallen.

Only one awesome lady running the whole place, drinks, making food, everything! She was fast and her food tasted great, and the price was very affordable.

As the owner of a bed and breakfast near the Ten Kate Market I can be found in Caf'e Topido every day in the morning for my newspaper and a cup of coffee or something else after I get bread, fruit, cheese and meat cutlets for my guest or myself. Pauline, Ilja and Sharon will take good care of you in a typical Amsterdamian setting and style. After having visited well over a 1000 times it's safe to call me an expert, I have yet to be dissapointed about anything there! Go there and say 'Hi' from Jeroen :-)
