Staff was nice but charging 8.5€ for a cold sandwich is ridiculous

I bought banana Bread and when I wanted to eat it when I was at home, I found out that there was white mold in the bread, also the other piece was old and dry… When I got a matcha latte two days later I told the personnel girl about it, she only said that she would tell the manager and didn’t offer me any coulance or new bread or something, she didn’t wanted to listen to my feedback clearly and looked away and went on with my order, which seemed like she wanted me gone as soon as possible…… I found it very rude. I was kind and polite the whole time, which I didn’t get back from her, as she seemed to find it annoying that I spoke my feedback to hear. Also, apparently you can not trust that they check their bread before giving it to you? … Really disappointed and maybe I won’t go there anymore.

Ordered coffee with oat milk. Saw the attendant serving what looked like cow milk. Asked the attendant which confirmed it was oat milk. Then I got sick because it was cow milk and I’m dairy intolerant. Just a lack of basic respect and customer service. The minimum I should be offered is a refund.

Nice concept. Order via a large ipad, pay and collect. However, both my coffee and croissant were cold. Pity. Otherwise, a great concept. Easy seating. Ideal to work or just get together. Pastries ok. Service ok. Price ok.

Best coffee I’ve had in a coffee shop. Personnel is kind and helpful. It’s a great spot to study and work. The prices is a bit higher but it worths it!

Wanted a regular coffee. Had to ask 5 times before she understood what I wanted. No, not a cappuccino, espresso…. To my bizarre surprise, the coffee is taken from a thermos for 4 euros!!! I have never experienced this before. Is it so difficult to make a cafe creme? It was even difficult to cancel. But a good amount would be refunded. But they don't say how, when. After a week, nothing has been refunded… that you have to get rich for 4 euros This place with a cold appearance and staff is a farce!

One star cause they've increased prices of sandwiches by 50% in a month, and I think almost double in a year. Last time I eat here.

Good coffee, but very expensive. It's better to check out one of the amazing cafés just steps away from Lebkov, which offer coffee of a similar quality (if not better) for a much more reasonable price.

Not sure why it took 15minutes to make a bad coffee, when there was only one other person waiting for coffee. AND there were two people working the machine. Honestly have no idea what they were doing.

Perfect spot to study and chat. There’s tons of sitting space and the bathrooms are clean and easy to access for customers. The highlight of my time spent on various days studying here: their oatmeal cookie. The outside is nicely crisp, but the inside is literally fall-apart soft. Reminiscent of a crumble pie, a wonderful combination. It’s not the most spiced/complex in flavor but the texture is just divine and I return to it again and again.

A delicious start to the day with an oat milk flat white. The sandwiches and cakes are freshly baked and a real treat.

Vivid and vibrant cafe that offers various coffee drinks and lunches. Despite the busy lunch time there was enough space for seating and the service was quick and friendly. Lots of university students as clients.

The hot chicken sandwich must be the disappointment of the year. €9,50 for a slice of supermarket cheese and one flat slice of supermarket chicken with some unidentified red sauce that might have been next to some chillies. A very expensive but extremely disappointing tosti.

I’m quite disappointed with the service here. I ordered a cup of Latte and the coffee maker was quite careless and impatient to make it. She just poured the syrup directly after the milk without mixing! (as far as I’ve known, syrup should be filled in the cup first instead of pouring later after the milk) But it’s 5€ just for a cup of coffee! I told her that I didn’t even taste the coffee but only with milk. She just replied me very impatiently:” just shake it” 🙄🙄To be honest, this bad service and coffee making skills don’t deserve such a high price.

So super disappointed in the Lebkov Club sandwich. No where does it mention it’s a HALF sandwich. Also there was no mayo on it at all and a total of ONE SLICE of cold chicken coldcut, not at all the “organic smoked chicken” that I was expecting. Also, the bread is not toasted. Overall the most disappointing experience in Amsterdam at any food establishment. Further, there is no service here. You order at a kiosk, they call your drink and food separately, so you need to go up twice to the counter. a complete underwhelming experience.

My friend and I ordered drinks here, and one drink was without syrup. The barista added syrup to both drinks, and tried to give us them without asking whether we wanted them remade. When we asked her to remake one of the drinks, the barista reacted extremely annoyed and rude. It took her a total of 30 seconds to remake the drink, so we did not understand the attitude. Moreover, the drink was super watery and overpriced. I do not recommend this place at all, neither the service nor the drinks justify the price.

The interior is really cool and stylish: a lot of space, wood and glass. Latte with regular milk was also tasty and strong enough for me. It was cooked for less than two minutes. Highly recommend this place especially if you’re waiting your swapfiets appointment 😃

The service here is not good for a breakfast spot. My bread took 20 minutes because the staf was hanging out and talking to someone instead of paying attention to the tickets. I arrived with so much time for a cup of coffee and a piece of bread for breakfast and ended up being late anyways. Incredibly overpriced.

Very overpriced for average coffee. Wouldn’t normally say this but the seating is very impractical and the weird tables and other seats make it also uncomfortable to sit. Only have business because they’re so close to the university.

I do not recommend this place at all. The drinks are overpriced and watered down. I decided to try the chai latte which costs 6€… and to my surprise, more than half of the cup was ice. Additionally, it was so watered down and had no flavor. The service was ok and the atmosphere was good if you want to study there, but the food is a big no.

It's outrageous! A simple sandwich with chicken fillet easily costs €8 and a coffee €5. It's not that the sandwich has super thin fillings, but it certainly deserves more for the money! I would at least expect a club sandwich for that money. The kcal are listed, so you can easily calculate what you can eat (useful if you track calories).

My friends and I stopped in daily while visiting Amsterdam for our morning coffee and sweet treat. We were able to start the day with a smile with their delicious lattes and baked goods. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The prices are fair. The setting is convenient to the university and Hyatt. It's right on the water. What more could we have asked for?! Cheers!

Super overpriced, did not really like the service, they were very slow, and not so nice even though I was the only one waiting for my coffee.

This review is maybe 6 months too late - I asked for a splash of oat milk in my Kenya filter coffee, and it was curdled (sour taste, cloudy appearance, rank smell). When I asked the barista for a new coffee, they used the same carton of oat milk to pour curdled oat milk (yet again) into my new coffee. Then I asked for a refund and threw the coffee away. A person who appeared to be the manager told me I was imagining the curdled oat milk, even after I had showed them both cups of coffee with the spoiled oat milk. In fact, they did not change the carton of spoiled oat milk and continued to serve other customers with it. Six months later, I still haven't received any refund, even though I had left my IBAN and mobile number with the barista. They did not respond to my email asking them to take food safety seriously. For such high prices and proximity to the UvA, I had expected better from Lebkov.

I ordered two “hot sandwiches”, but apparently a Lebkov sandwich is two simple slices of bread, sparsely filled and grilled too briefly. Looked like a failed sandwich. And you pay almost ten euros per sandwich for that... ridiculous. When I order a tuna melt I at least expect the cheese to be melted, but that wasn't the case with me. The staff was not unfriendly, but very disinterested and lazy. I was there for an hour and didn't see one employee clearing away the used cups from previous guests or wiping the tables after someone left. There were stains and crumbs on almost every table, so I wiped them clean myself. The person next to me also looked for a seat, but could only sit at a table with dirty cups. That was probably the cleanest table there. The person also had to clean that up himself. It's scandalous that this is not done by the employees as the place was not busy. All in all not a nice experience. Definitely not worth repeating and a waste of my money.

I paid c. 10 euros for a small and medium cappuccino, the coffee was not good at all, semi-warm with too much milk. Crew was chatting whole time and make fun, instead of focusing on making a decent coffee, which is expensive. I would not recommend it, especially because there is no respect for the money you pay

Would not recommend any sandwiches. I paid 9.50 for a chickensandwich that should not have cost more than 3 to 4 euros.

The coffee is not bad, but the service … from forgotten orders to overcharging for things I didn’t order at all. Most annoying,however, is bumping up prices secretly, first for take away lids and now also for cups. This is not a problem as such, but it is not written anywhere what you are being charged. Careful with ordering “deals” - I’m not sure they actually cost less than ordering things apart. Very sneaky, don’t appreciate it.

Sandwiches turn out to be simple toasted sandwiches, even though you pay at least 7.95 for them. Service is also lacking. I wouldn't say recommended

I know the bar is set low for lunch delivery restaurants, but this really beats everything. I placed an order today just after 12 and I received two very small pieces, blackened and clearly burnt, of toasted toast in a wet bag in which half the cheese was of course stuck. And you pay 11 euros + service for that! Also ordered a juice, ordered medium size but received a small cup. Please act normal.

3.50 euros for an oatmeal cookie! Completely insane and inedible! Completely dried out and falling apart on all sides. Could go straight into the trash... Too bad I hadn't read the previous reviews yet.

Overpriced. Was served luke warm soup. Had to ask for it to be hot. Gave me back same soup just heated up in microwave. Sandwich had a thin slice of chicken and thin slice of cheese. Very overpriced for what it was.

Not recommended, find something else!!! Ordered a “hot chicken sandwich” for €7.50, which turned out to be just a cheap, very mediocre sandwich. When I asked if I could have sauce (ketchup) with it, I had to pay extra for it because there was already sauce (siracha) on the sandwich itself. There are much better places near Roeters where you get value for your money!

Ik kom hier om iets te drinken en te studeren. Ik kreeg van een barista te horen dat ik daar niet kon zitten tenzij ik iets bestelde. Ik had die ochtend al een drankje besteld. Het personeel is meestal beleefd en de koffie is goed, maar ik vond deze interactie onaangenaam. Ik wist niet dat Lebkov onvriendelijk was tegen studenten.

In the heart of the university district this is a great place for breakfast or lunch, serving mainly sandwiches, cakes, coffee and juices. It looks like it serves alcohol later in the day but I’ve not tried it. We visited a few times during our stay, it’s a good place to just eat quickly, slowly catch up with friends or do some work.

Decent coffee but it’s always a worry to find a place in a total mess and staff behind the counter having a nice chat with each other rather then cleaning up. Dirty tables and uncleared dishes.

Great food, coffee ☕ and drinks. Conveniently located next to the university on the canal. Great place to study a bit or relax in a very chill, modern atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Wonderful friendly international staff makes you feel welcome. Will come again.

Large space but ridiculous prices for single triangular sandwiches that look and taste like they just got defrosted in a hurry

Bizar dat een broodje een jaar geleden nog €4,95 kostte en nu €7,25!!! Inflatie begrijpelijk, maar dit is echt niet ok voor een plek gelokaliseerd op de campus van een Universiteit. Het broodje smaakt an sich prima, maar voor die €7,25 is het echt te weinig. Compleet scheve prijs/kwantiteit verhouding en bovendien matige/warrige service.

rating on behalf of my girlfriend - oddly this coffee has displaced all others and is now the “best coffee ever” in her mind beating an Icelandic one she gets every time she’s there which was her prior favorite. Astonishing feat for a relatively banal looking establishment. Bravo.

Good place to have coffee and do some work. The wooden interior feels relaxing and the wifi is good enough. The location is good too: it’s right next to the UvA Roeterseiland campus.

The coffee is delicious, but it took far too long. It’s not a cheap coffee at around €4.50 for a medium latte, so I’d rather not wait close to 10 minutes for it. I understand baristas may be in training but maybe you should make that clear. Sorry to spread negativity just wanted to try and give some feedback. Thank you
