Cafee Merci in Wijk 28 Centrum

We arrived at 4pm on Sunday and they were closed. The opening hours in Google need to be updated. یکشنبه ساعت ۱۶ متاسفانه بسته بودند.

I don't normally write reviews, but I really have to share this. I think it was a waste of our money. The staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was awful. We didn't have cutlery and had to ask for everything ourselves. We ordered Soltani and Chenje, but were given something else. The food wasn't good either.

Amazing service, they are very lovely and nice. Their baked potato is very delicious :) recommended 10/10 would come again!

Today we had a delicious meal at the completely renovated Merci cafe lunchroom. Beautiful presentation and super friendly owner, staff and chef. Clean and tidy. Really great! Had friends from Limburg as guests and they were also delighted by the food, drinks and presentation! The menu has also been changed to more modern dishes and baked potato with topping is now also on the menu. Delicious fresh baklava with ice cream. Definitely worth repeating!

The best place in town! As an Iranian I can confirm that the taste of the sandwiches was exactly the same as in Iran, with the same ingredients, receipts and flavours. Moreover, the owner, Armin, was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. He had an amazing attitude and hospitability. I TOTALLY recommend it, even more as an Iranian, but for everyone :) The best sandwiches in town!!!!!

Openingstijden van google kloppen niet de zaak is tot 19:30 open vertelde de vriendelijke eigenaar. Broodjes zijn heeeerlijk en voor een goede prijs!

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Sind letztes Jahr über UberEats auf die Sandwiche aufmerksam geworden und sind dieses Jahr direkt wieder hingefahren! Super Qualität, lecker lecker lecker! Mein Favorite: die 15 :)

Het eten was lekker. Voor de tweede keer rekende hij teveel. Als je niet oplet rekent hij meer dan normaal. Niet netjes!

At Cafee Merci you have a wide range of options of Iranian sandwiches. The sandwiches are super tasty. Besides, the guy here is very friendly as expected from a persian Dutch. Recommended for sure!
