Amazing. Was here last week with my son. Great food. And exceptional prices.

It took very long to receive our order and when it was brought to our table it was cold. The mixed grill was a bit bland and dry. I believe this restaurant has much more potential if they put more attention to seasoning and service.

The food was fine, but the service was unfortunately very poor. We dined here as a family and had to wait over an hour for our food. While we were waiting, several tables that arrived later were already fully served and had already finished their food. A larger group that arrived after us was also served much more quickly. It felt like they prioritize large groups, which I found very disappointing and disrespectful. The staff was disappointing, with the exception of one employee. No one came to ask if we wanted to order anything else. We wanted tea and dessert, but because we literally waited 15 minutes without anyone looking at us, we decided against it. Employees kept walking past our table without paying attention. We finally got up, paid, and left immediately. Moreover, the food was nothing special.

Had a wonderful experience at Shiraz Restaurant I recently visited Shiraz Restaurant in Den Haag and I must say that I had an unforgettable experience. The authentic and delicious Iranian food served here is truly unique. The kebabs and stews are incredibly delicious and flavorful, and of course the fragrant pilaf really had a special flavor. From the desserts, what I personally liked was that they made their own ice cream and faloodeh, the ice cream was filled with pistachios, there were three types of faloodeh that were delicious and excellent. The restaurant atmosphere was also warm and intimate, providing a pleasant environment for a friendly or family evening. The hospitality of the staff was also great. We really felt like we were guests in an Iranian home. Thanks to the Shiraz Restaurant team for this great experience

Restaurant Shiraz in The Hague is truly one of the best and most renowned Iranian restaurants where I've experienced traditional Iranian cuisine. From the very beginning, they presented a professional menu with a list of various Iranian dishes, such as kebabs, stews, rice dishes, and Iranian desserts. The taste of the food, the quantity, and the service were truly excellent. The restaurant's interior wasn't very large, but it was clean and attractive. In my opinion, if you want a good Iranian food experience, you should definitely visit Restaurant Shiraz. Even though we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was very busy, we were greeted with a smile.

Shiraz Restaurant in Den Haag was one of my best Persian food experiences. The warm and cozy interior with traditional Persian music creates a special sense of calm. The food is very tasty and authentic; especially the kebab kobideh and the vegetable stew which had an incomparable taste. The staff was very respectful and friendly, and the service was timely. The prices are also quite fair for the quality of the food. If you are looking for a real taste of Persian food in the Netherlands, Shiraz Restaurant is a great choice.

[August 29, 8:48 PM] .: I've been a regular at Shiraz in The Hague for years, dining there regularly, often alone. What I've noticed for a while now is that solo diners don't receive the same treatment as larger groups. Several times, I've been told a table was "reserved," while a little later other guests—without reservations—were simply seated. This feels unfair and gives the impression that they prefer serving larger groups over individual diners. [August 29, 8:48 PM] .: During my most recent visit, my disappointment was even greater. For a considerable amount of money, I received a plate with no more than 15 tablespoons of rice and only two small, burnt kebab pieces. An exceptionally meager portion, especially considering the sharply increased prices. Because I was still hungry and, moreover, a regular, I politely asked if I could have some extra rice. [29-8 20:48] .: However, the waitress acted as if the small amount of rice I initially received was a normal portion. When I indicated I only wanted a little extra, she said this was only possible if I ordered a "new portion." To my surprise, I then received a large plate of rice, many times more than my first plate—and exactly the amount I was used to from previous visits. In other words, what was initially presented to me as a full portion was actually only a fraction of it. Moreover, I had to pay an additional €5 for this second plate. [29-8 20:48] .: The biggest problem for me isn't so much the extra charge, but the feeling of being misled. There was no honest communication about the portions, and I got the strong impression that they were deliberately telling untruths. I would also like to emphasize that most of the staff don't speak Dutch well, but there was no language barrier: I spoke to them in their own language, so there was no chance of any misunderstanding. That's precisely why this experience feels like deliberate dishonesty. [29-8 20:48] .: Furthermore, the quality of the food has clearly deteriorated. The saffron in the rice tasted artificial, the kebabs were burnt, and the portions have become much smaller, while the prices have risen sharply. The price-quality ratio is completely out of whack. All in all, I've unfortunately had to conclude that Shiraz no longer offers its loyal guests the quality, honesty, and hospitality you expect. For me, this means, after many years, that I will not be returning.

Very good food. Same standard as in Iran. Well-priced. The blond saffron beer was only 3 euros, which I can't find anywhere else in the Netherlands anymore 😅. The atmosphere is much nicer than the photos on Google Maps suggest. Service was fast. Best Iranian restaurant I've seen in The Hague so far.

Ordered the dolme for appetiser, they did not bring any plates for us! For main we got kabab kobide which was horrible, disgusting, I can not even be sure it was made with real meat ! The worst kebab I have ever had ! We also got mahiche which was good and tasted fine . Overall the staff were not friendly at all and not hospitable! They would not even check on us or any thing ! DO NOT Recommend! Poor food and hospitality quality .

If i could give 10 starts, i would definitely. This place is hands down THE BEST Iranian restaurant i have tried in the Netherlands!! I have tried 4 other restaurants in Amsterdam and Rotterdam in total and nothing tops this place. Their kebab is the best! So so yummy and delicious and rich with flavors. Other dishes like fesenjoon and ghorme sabzi etc. are delicious as well. Everything tastes so fresh and is very well seasoned. I always recommend this place to my friends who want to try really good iranian food

I recently went to this Persian restaurant and absolutely loved it! The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and warm - you immediately feel welcome. The food was also a real highlight: fresh, aromatic and prepared with a lot of love. The grilled meat dishes and the rice variations were particularly delicious. If you like (or want to get to know) Persian cuisine, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back!

The best and cleanest restaurant in the Netherlands, and the management is respectable. When I came, I found crowds and an empty table. She said, “You don’t have a reservation. We apologize.” I told her, “I’m coming from a walk.” She let me in and gave me a table where her son was sitting. A delicious, delicious, and professional restaurant. Ordered food here today as a regular customer (uber eats). Part of the order was incorrect and instead of being helpful, the gentleman on the phone was downright rude "mint and basil are not in season" "and just call Uber Eats". First of all, it seems very clear to me that as a restaurant you cannot get mint and basil, and in addition, why not take the item off your menu? It's nice and easy to fob off your customer with "just contact Uber Eats". Never again.

The only place in the Netherlands where we can trust the type of food cooking, the observance of hygiene principles and the quality of their raw materials and enjoy the good taste of their food. The attitude of the staff of this restaurant is also very friendly and polite.

Kashke bademjan and Mirza ghasemi were super delicious. If you are a fan of eggplant, I would suggest trying one. The main dishes were served in large portions, although the rice wasn't Persian as stated on the menu. We also ordered saffron ice cream, which wasn't authentic, and the taste didn't resemble Persian saffron ice cream at all. I would say the service was lacking; we asked three times to have our table cleaned, and each time, it was only partially done. The environment was nice, with Persian songs playing in the background.

Food was very bad. The soup was because the last portion of the pan was given to me. mahi che polo meat was so hard you couldn't eat it.. not again this restaurant..

Due to the good recent reviews, we wanted to give Shiraz another chance. but this time was once again disappointing. Kebab Barg was inedible. meat was not fresh and tasted very strange. As if it was cooked and microwaved a few days ago.

We ordered Shishlik and Kashke Bademjan, both food’s portion was good and the taste was fine. They also provided a complimentary tray of sides, which was a nice touch. However, I found the Kashke Bademjan a bit too spicy for my taste, though others might appreciate the extra kick.

I just wanted to share my frustration about my last visit to the restaurant. I am often in the Netherlands, usually in Rotterdam, but this time I was in The Hague for the first time and I wanted to spend a nice evening with my colleague. Being from Germany, I had some problems with the internet. When we sat at our table I asked the owner if there was free Wi-Fi. His response was simply rude: "You're asking a strange question!" That's really not the way you should expect a restaurant to treat customers. Maybe that good man has not had any integration in Europe and therefore does not know how to deal with customers. In addition, we wanted to sit outside, which was rejected. That in itself is fine, but other guests were allowed to sit outside and were served. Then you wonder about customer friendliness. And the food? The kebabs were way too salty - for me a sign that the quality of the meat is not really great. You just have to season it strongly to hide the flaws. The rice was dry and only the portion size was okay. Unfortunately I cannot recommend your restaurant. For me, the service counts the most and that's where you really failed.

Don't be misled by the good reviews... yes, the flavors are fine, but the portions are extremely small and the prices are bizarrely high... not to mention the 'service', a very unfriendly man! I paid (170!!!!!) euros for food for a party and it wasn't even enough for 4 people... mainly a mountain of rice, but in the 2 containers with the emphasis BOXES there were a few stray pieces of meat in a lot of sauce so that it wasn't noticed, (3!!) Pieces of bread and the salad included 2 cucumbers and 2 tomato pieces.. ridiculous! When I called, the man on the phone very unfriendly said that they couldn't do anything and that's too bad and hung up in my ear!! Never experienced this before...never again for us!

Really delicious food. As an Iranian who is a real kebab lover, I must report that the food really exceeds the expectations of an Iranian restaurant in Europe! Really delicious. I recommend it to everyone. We have now eaten there 3 times and picked it up once and eaten at home. Perfect quality every time. Only pub for improvement: the atmosphere could really be better. Sometimes it is dead quiet in the store and the music and lighting could certainly be better

I have eaten several times in various Persian restaurants and unfortunately this time the Shiraz restaurant in The Hague was disappointing. Persian cuisine includes many stews and of course the Chelo Kebab. However, in this case it was overcooked and the meat could have been anything. By the way, you get plenty of rice with your dishes. The restaurant itself is not very large and the service is hospitable. it just doesn't invite you to sit for long. Despite all the good reviews, this restaurant disappointed us this time.

One if the best Persian/Iranian Kabab (Kebab) we have tried Europe. We ordered Samoese as starter, and Kasse-Kabab (Bowl Kebab), and Soltani-Kabab as main dish, and two Persian Dough, altogether €63. Very satisfied with taste and portions. Nice staff. The ventilation could be improved since the smell was not really good (either from the kitchen or from other guests?!). Overall, highly recommend!
