Cafetaria De Dreef in Wijk 02 Zeist-Noord

Not familiar with Zeist and went to eat here based on previous reviews. The food was very good and tasty. One minor point; the menu said 'patat' -> it's 'friet'!!! 😉

Unfortunately, we had an incredibly bad experience with our order. We had ordered kapsalon döner kebab, but ended up receiving kapsalon with chicken. This was not clearly indicated anywhere, nor was it discussed with us. If we had wanted to order chicken, we would obviously have done so ourselves. On top of that, the order arrived completely mixed up. The kapsalon was literally upside down in the bags, causing everything to be mixed throughout the packaging and making it look anything but appetizing. When we finally wanted to try the food, it unfortunately turned out that there was much more wrong. The 'berenklauw' (bear claw) was raw inside and, in terms of texture, resembled a bouncy ball more than a well-prepared 'berenklauw'. The cheese soufflé sandwich was clearly old and not fresh. The peanut sauce was cold, whereas with a hot order, you would expect it to be delivered hot. As if that wasn't enough, there was a napkin under the sandwich that was completely stuck to the bun. We couldn't get it off neatly no matter what. This just comes across as very sloppy and unhygienic. Naturally, we wanted to contact the business immediately to explain what had happened and look for a solution. Unfortunately, the business's own phone number turned out not to be working. As a result, we were initially unable to call at all to file a complaint. Eventually, we had to call the delivery driver's number just to be able to get in touch regarding the order. Of course, that is also not the way a customer should be able to report a problem. In the end, we just threw the food away because it was simply inedible. For an order of about €50, we find this truly unacceptable. For that amount, you expect at the very least to receive what you ordered, that the food is well prepared and fresh, that the order is transported properly, and that you can reach the business if something goes wrong. Of course, a mistake in an order can always happen. But in this case, things actually went wrong on multiple points: the wrong meat, the kapsalon upside down in the bag, raw bear claw, a stale cheese soufflé sandwich, cold peanut sauce, a napkin stuck to the sandwich, and subsequently a business phone number that didn't work. The result: we paid about €50 for food that we ultimately ended up largely throwing away. That is a terrible waste of money and, above all, very disappointing. We enjoy ordering food and understand that things can sometimes go wrong, but this was really too much at once. Hopefully, this feedback will be taken seriously and the quality of the food, the way orders are packaged, and the fact that customers must actually be able to reach the business when something goes wrong will be looked into. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering here again anytime soon in this way.

I just thought I'd come here to mention that this is one of the coziest cafeterias. Very sweet bald man and his brother, top guys, quick and delicious preparation. And I also saw in the reviews a few people complaining about the food; as if they own a cafeteria themselves, they're just acting all important here. That aside, highly recommended, and the Berenklauw... wow!

Truly a top-notch place! If you are looking for a good cafeteria, look no further. Cafetaria De Dreef is highly recommended! The food was really very good; everything was perfectly cooked, super fresh, and delicious. In addition, the service was simply perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and hospitable. There is also a very good atmosphere in the place, making you feel welcome immediately.

Cozy atmosphere, the bald gentleman has a funny laugh, keep up the good work! Great place

Waited an hour and a quarter for a delivery with bizarrely soggy fries in a broken container? (I live 5 minutes away) And a Mexicano that was just tossed loosely into the bag. All the bags looked wet too. No salt on the fries either. Absolutely not recommended.

Delivery was disappointing. It turned out to be busy, but we still waited a very long time with poor expectation management. The food wasn't special, which is logical for fast food, but fine in itself.

Thuisbezorgd listed €2.50 for delivery, but at checkout, this suddenly turned out to be €5. I ordered an XL dürüm döner; it tasted fine (a bit sparse salad), but I was surprised by the size. It seemed just as big as any other normal dürüm I have ever eaten, so I don't know where the term XL comes from. I have also never ordered from here before, so I can't compare it to the regular version. All in all, I had a tasty meal, but I found the two points mentioned above disappointing.

It's really hit and miss here. The fries are OK, the hamburgers are horrible, the turkish pizza and shoarma are better. Ask them to go easy on the sauce, they like to drown things in cheap sauce. Prices are high for the (quality.

Always good food for a decent price and friendly staff.

Delicious food and very friendly

Super! First order from Soesterberg (where everything is closed), but definitely not the last. It was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Super food!!! We ordered at 19:00 and received it at 19:08. The chicken nuggets were delicious, perfect, and perfectly spicy. The burger menu is definitely recommended, and the kapsalon couldn't be better!! I will order here more often. This is the best eatery, and the customer service is also super; friendly people behind the counter, and it seems like they make it with pure love. REALLY super!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Totally fine man gap, really tasty

Very friendly place with great prices!!!

Goor and does not meet inspection

Quick service. Delicious food and excellent value for money. Last year's Christmas decorations are still there, but that shouldn't spoil the fun 😀

Had a wonderfully delicious meal, highly recommended👍🏻

The food was delicious. Friendly staff. Wide selection. Large portions. What more could you want? Choose from fries, snacks, burgers, doner kebab, and kapsalons. Great place.

Disgusting food. Bought two doner sandwiches, and they were inedible. It was beyond words.

I don't understand how this still exists. There aren't many really good cafeterias but I've never seen worse than the dreef. Everything thrown away, filthy junk.

The food and the price: it's fast food. Not particularly good or bad. But how do they manage to get something wrong on EVERY visit? 1 fries with mayo and 3 without? -> 1 fries with mayo, 1 fries with war and 2 without Doner with pepper and onion? -> Doner with cheese 2 veal croquettes? -> 2 satay croquettes EVERY time, but I mean EVERY time, something is wrong with what I receive.

Ordered several times. Nice delivery people. Always super fast. Forgot to give me Coke. I thought I would send a message for next time. But it was brought anyway. ✌️

Is a recommendation delicious food🫶🫶

Yesterday I got fries with a frikadel and hot wings. It was super tasty. The kids were really happy.

The fries were tasty, just a little too much salt

A great place for a simple snack.

Kapsalon was super nice!! The snacks and fries are super tasty!! but the most important thing is that they have the good sauces here, including not that cheap satay sauce, but the real one!! Hold that!!! In short, worth eating!!!

Got a kebab sandwich: soft, shelf-stable sandwich instead of a fresh kabab sandwich, not even warmed up in the oven or something. Half a leaf of lettuce shredded and placed at the bottom of the sandwich, so it's all limp lettuce. And then mash a soup spoon of dehydrated meat on top. I thought I had pita cheese because my sandwich was that big. Cheese souffle was cold. Girl was nice. This wasn't a kebab sandwich. Kebab sandwich is a fresh hard bun, nice fresh lettuce with tomato and cucumber, a little cabbage or something. Below and above the meat!! Nicely stuffed sandwich so that you can eat from the sandwich with a fork... that way you don't sell sandwiches and you can throw away your meat every time, I think, or keep it for days... Dirty man. This morning Mediterranean atmosphere in the toilet, intestines didn't like it either.

Tasty Turkish pizza and good service

Because it had to be delivered a little further away, I asked for the sauce separately for the Turkish pizza. Rolled very limply. And completely soft on the inside, gunk. Really dirty. With a little bit of lettuce. Kapsalon döner was tasty and luckily the sauce was special. It's just a shame that there was so little döner meat on it. Many times more if you pick up. 5 euros delivery costs then you expect something. Total price was 18.5 and I am quite disappointed.

Traffic jam, and craving fries, this one was close by with a good review. So off the road and easily found. On the recommendation of a customer, I ordered a Turkish pizza with doner. Very tasty and fresh . Helped by a friendly young man. If there is a traffic jam again I will definitely come back.

Very tasty snacks and döner and not expensive either. Delivery people are always friendly too

Didn't get a lot of fries and didn't get a lot of doner kebab either, bad service, went twice but didn't find the service good, too bad I don't think I'll go again

At first glance it doesn't look like much. A small cafeteria where you can order something outside and secretly you might not expect much... But appearances can be deceiving! What a delicious kebab sandwich we have from you!

good snack bar and certainly not expensive, much cheaper than other snack bars and in a good location

A bit of a crazy look, a kind of mobile home next to a main road. But that says nothing about the great service, friendly staff and delicious fries. Not the nearest snack bar, but my go-to. Recommended!

At first I didn't know what it was exactly. Minced meatball was tasty, I give it an 8 Fries were also tasty, an 8 Disadvantage. There was no lighting outside (or wasn't on.) So not pleasant when you're waiting for your food. Definitely I'll come back here.

Sehr gut gegessen. Der Service sehr freundlich und der Preis ist genial.

Goed eten, vriendelijke mensen. Het meeste is halal 👌

Super snel en kwaliteit is goed.

Goede snackbar, kapsalon zeker proberen mega

Top gezellig klant vriendelijk personeel. Goed eten 👍

Very good kebab and very great staff

Erg lekker. Goed doorgebakken allemaal. Vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader!

Beste plek in zeist heel lekker en gezellig !!

Prima snackbar. Lekkere frietjes, prima Turkse pizza's en betaalbaar

Beste Chinese eten ooit! Alles lekker vers, ik ga nergens anders heen!

Snelle bezorging, vriendelijke bezorger.

Erg lekker eten. Lekker vlot en vriendelijk personeel

It's what you can expect from a simple cafeteria. It's a bit beat, meaning it can use a paint job and an overhaul touch-up. Good food however.

Goede kwaliteit voor prima bedrag

Echt lekker eat, patat, hamburger, turkse pızza alles echt moi, beatiful best restaurant 👍🏻👌

Lekker, schoon en divers eten en aardige mensen (aanrader: broodje adana)

Meh smakeloos. Nu verwachten we nooit zoveel van MC donalds, maar warme frietjes zou leuk zijn.

Kleine zaak, meer gefocust op afhalen. Parkeergelegenheid genoeg,

Klein zaakje redelijk assortiment
