Cafetaria de Prins in Wijk 14 Venlo-Noord

The food is good. It just takes a long time to get it.

First of all, I was at the wrong chip shop... (I ordered by phone.) This is because there are no fewer than three different chip shops, "De Prins" (The Prince), in Venlo. We actually wanted to get takeout, but because we had to drive an eight-minute distance from one chip shop to the next, we decided to eat it there. Good prices, not expensive. The food was delicious (frites oorlog (war fries), Viandel speciaal (special viandel), and vleesbal speciaal (special meatballs), but I was shivering from the cold (I think the heating wasn't on...), so I had to wear my coat. Friendly people and delicious food, but make sure you've called the right chip shop and eat it at home.

Not exactly cozy, but the quality you'd expect from a cafeteria, and the prices aren't even that high. Indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area right on the road. Takeaway is also possible, of course.

Food is okay. But it smells musty. These people are easy with hygiene.

As lovers and connoisseurs of REAL FRESH FRIES, but new to this area, we came to the fresh fries that this cafeteria advertises and boasts. The service does not yet have a good command of the Dutch language, which makes it quite difficult to indicate special wishes. But what mattered was the fresh fries....well they just weren't fresh. It's just bad factory fries that are also bone dry. Even with a lot of sauce you can't chop it. Sorry, but this was really bad. Oh yes and the frikandels were tough.

The only snack bar open on Mondays at 9 p.m. in Venlo. Nothing special. The owner very nice.

Tasty fries, friendly staff and even when it's busy, you get your food quickly. Absolutely recommended!
