Worthless place. 1 in 3 orders is incorrect. Online orders are pointless because they're never ready on time.

Always good. Lots of friendly staff. Always fast service and top-notch products.

I wouldn't recommend it. The tables were sticky and hadn't been cleared. There were four people behind the counter, but none to clean up. The floor was dirty. The food was fine.

Super fun and funny experience! I was helped by a very friendly blond young man, who immediately knew I wasn't from Limburg. The Mayo-Satay Fries and Mexican Sandwich were delicious, and indeed, not a child's portion. 😅 I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Very tasty food. We happened to be there because we were shopping. Fries with mushroom sauce and mayo, along with a frikandel and a Bami slice. I haven't had such good fries and the like in a long time.

‘t Bakhuus Gashoes in Venlo is a real recommendation for me. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The food is impressive in both quality and taste: the Parat Orloog was perfectly cooked and served to perfection, exactly as you would expect. I was particularly impressed by the Bami, which truly tasted like it was fresh from Indonesia – intense and authentic. The meal was accompanied by a wonderfully cool Coke, perfectly tempered. The team also has a knack for preparing dishes with high levels of trans fat: the food still comes out pleasantly light and digestible. The relaxed atmosphere invites you to linger and makes you want to return. If you value friendly service and honest street food, this is the place for you.

T Bakhuus used to be 't Gashoes. I ordered a fried egg from 't Bakhuus for the second time in a short time. The first time, it wasn't really warm/hot. The second time, it was still frozen solid. They literally can't fry anything anymore.

A very nice shop with a good selection of vegetarian options. Whenever we're in Venlo, a stop here is a must. The menu is now also available online, with the option to order directly.

Good cafeteria for a quick bite or a more extensive lunch. Extensive menu with many different dishes. Located at the same location for years, which makes it easy to reach but also a lot of traffic passing by.

Finally a top chip shop again, who know how it SHOULD be done..... Quality & service are of paramount importance, and the terrace has become very beautiful, even just for a nice ice cream or something to drink

One of the best frituuren in Venlo and the surrounding area. Everything tastes excellent and they also have many homemade specialties.

Previously it was t gasthoes, this chip shop was great! Now it's called t bakhuus; really gone bad! Too bad for what used to be a great chip shop.

Due to a traffic accident in the "world city" of Venlo, there was a complete traffic jam, which meant I "drove" for over an hour over 1.5 km, which of course made me much late for my - now - cold order. The order was prepared again without further costs, top service!!!!

Food has become more expensive, no problem, but why is the quality going down? Chicken satay was not tasty Bought a cheaper kippie? It's also very cold inside

Very good snack, we discovered it by chance. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is right. 25€ for two people, but the portions were pretty big! The entertainment and menu were in Dutch, which we unfortunately can't do very well, but the staff tried really hard and somehow it worked. The next time we are in Venlo we will come back!

Gigantic portions! The large fry is easily equivalent to three large fries at other stores. Unfortunately it wasn't salted/seasoned, so it had to be seasoned a lot. The price was right, service was good, but the table was more than dirty. The selection is large.

We went shopping in Leurs and wanted to go out for something to eat afterwards. We found 't Bakhuus and absolutely loved it. Away from the hustle and bustle of Venlo, you could eat in peace, the selection is perfect and the portions are huge! Price absolutely great! I can recommend everyone to take a look here.

Ik had friet met gyros besteld. De friet was goed, de tzatziki redelijk, het vlees had nog nooit van Griekenland gehoord (maar smaken verschillen), de sla was verlept, de uien en de feta waren ook ruim over tijd. Kortom een schotel waar t Gashoes zich diep voor moet schamen om zoiets te serveren. Op mijn klacht hierover werd beweerd dat alles vers was. In het Venloo's zegt men dan "aan mienen hak zach Coba" U bent gewaarschuwd

4 months later after my 1st review - frikandel is now good. Goulash soup since takeover - good. Fries still worthless. Dark brown thin fries - again unedible. What on earth could be so difficult about frying fries?

Tolle typisch niederländische Frittenbude. Sehr nette Bedienung, lekker und reichliche Portionen zu guten Preisen. Ambiente ist auch sehr nett.

Already 3 times when I picked up my order at home, I found out that the order was incorrect! Check your order carefully before taking it home. After a phone call, the right thing was quickly delivered to my home.

I ate a delicious meal of salad and rice with goulash on the terrace with my wife. It was really tasty, but we couldn't eat everything as it was a generous meal for us. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff 👍

What was a nice chip shop a few months ago, turned into a disco after the takeover. Having the music on so loud that you can no longer hear each other. Otherwise messy and dingy!

Very good fries!🍟 Were freshly prepared Staff also speaks German. However, fries are brought without salt, you have to add salt yourself. It's ok for some, but if you add the salt yourself it doesn't spread so well. But it's a matter of taste. Overall, solid, but not great.

Price and performance are very good. The hamburger tastes damn good and fresh, highly recommended. The portions of fries are very large and lightly seasoned - but seasoning or salting later is not a problem. We'll definitely come back here next time we're in Venlo ☺️

What a terrible tent! Or they forget to put things in the bag THAT YOU PAID FOR! They put the fries in the bag 3 minutes before the rest is ready so that you have cooled, limp fries when you get home. Then you place an order for a quarter to 6 and it turns out that no one knows where the order went. After asking and searching, they arrive with a happy smile on their face saying no, sorry is not possible! Indicate that you are going to take your food off the fire at home and when you return, still nothing has been thrown in the fat! And then they look at you with a smile. Never eat here again.

Got fries here today and it was a complete fiasco. Case appears to have been taken over. It turned out that something was wrong with the order. For two people fries plus snacks, 50 euros was charged. When we had it repaired it suddenly cost 20 euros. One of the snacks fell on the floor and we were just able to prevent it from being given away. Once home, the order turned out to be incomplete (snacks were missing) and the mushroom cream sauce smelled sour and looked crazy. We won't be coming back here again. Too bad, because it used to be quite an okay tent.

Delicious fries and frikandel special. When we are in Venlo, we always take a lunch break there. The service wasn't that good last visit. They had forgotten our order. We asked twice, after waiting 25 minutes. The ambience is good for a chip shop, but very simple and not cozy.

We found it by chance after shopping last year and always enjoy coming back here. Delicious food, nice staff and a great and modern atmosphere. An insider tip for us!

Discovered by chance one day. Regular customer since then, much better than the places in the city center. Simply delicious. Huge portions. It was a pleasure. One of the best in Venlo.

Surprisingly good. Basically a quick service restaurant with the look of a normal, modern restaurant. Small disadvantage, the area is very busy and that makes sitting outside a bit uncomfortable.
