Cafetaria De Smulhoek in Wijk 01 Binnenstad

I am surprised to have found a Lumpia as a Filipino, I really love it!!!

The food was delicious, the peanut sauce was amazing, and the rest was great too.

Definitely stop by 😃 Friendly service. Fresh oil. Very good snacks and soft serve ice cream too.

Always good and friendly people

We came in and they already asked for our order. We said we would just look and after 5 seconds they asked again. If there are 4 of you and 2 of you get something, the other 2 have to go. I am very dissatisfied, the people were angry. I do not recommend it.

The first time I went in, I was greeted kindly and served immediately. Within 5 minutes I already had the food, it looked good, and it tasted great too! The place looks clean as well and there is plenty of seating. It gets 5 stars from me.

This is an overall cheap place, so I think I got a correct plate for the money I spent there.

The food (menu) was excellent, the service was friendly, and the wait wasn't too long. Perfect for a quick snack or a simple meal.

I ordered a shawarma platter and waited over half an hour for it. When it finally arrived, I was given a large plate filled with: Dry meat, Salad from a jar, Limp fries, And a soggy roll. Definitely not going back.

Very bad thing, hairs in the food, lukewarm food and poor customer service, we come with 4 people, 2 of whom are going to eat something, we are sent away because 2 of the 4 have ordered food

Friendly staff and super delicious food! 😍

Good business and friendly staff.

Have a good range. The food is tasty.

Hello, I was just sitting at the table here (yesterday the service was also bad btw) today I sat down and the old food from the predecessor was poured on me. Hence this review Greetings Jelle Postma

The fries are delicious and the friendliness is top notch

The food is great, typical Dutch chip shop

Great cafeteria, good fries and snacks, I like to come there every now and then to do something unhealthy for lunch, haha! Staff is always incredibly friendly! I do notice that it is sometimes quite cold there, but of course most people don't sit there and eat. And you should think like this: lower heating costs = cheaper food!

absolutely love this snackbar, great smoothies and fries too. nice workers, very friendly. loved the view.. saw this cat outside too, near the church.

Very tasty food, good service and it all looked very good! Great, I would come here more often

How bad… Asked very politely for lukewarm water for my son's bottle, my bottle was taken and placed near the chip shop... after 5 minutes the water was finally put in, cold... that can happen, you ask nicely, do you have a little warm water, I will mix it myself I had to pay €2.40, how much this and that for half a cup of hot water service is far too poor!

the food tasted good staff friendly customer toilet

Hamburger sandwich €4.50 inside outside €5.00 they say with onion but there were two onions in it. Sandwich completely fell apart! Had to wait a very long time, although there was NOTHING to do, 20 minutes. Mayonnaise, just a spoonful more.

Friendly service. Beautiful location!

Delicious food, made quickly and hardly any language barrier

6 (!) people behind the chip shop, but an order for fries and a bami slice takes 15 minutes, even though it was not busy. The one table there was dirty, no one thought to clean it. And then the prices: a small fries war €4.50! I won't be back...

Food was very tasty but unfortunately there was a hair in my fries

Hello, any idea when it starts again?

I got an ice cream with peanut sauce on the bottom!! It was inedible!!!!

Just completed another 38 km (round trip) cross-country by bike to enjoy the delicious patat with Bamischijf. It was worth it again 👍

always neat and correct and the orders are always correct

We eat here every year on holiday. Always delicious!!

Smulhoek is the best I am now a regular customer ouleh

Very tasty fries with peanut sauce

They do have tasty food but they don't ask what kind of sauce you want. I got peanut sauce with my frikadel even though I didn't ask for it.

Forgot the sauce, otherwise great!

It fits there. Courteous people...

Good coffee. Take Corona into account

Okay for a small snack...Friendly staff...Shop clean...You should just avoid the toilet.

Food was ready quickly, staff is friendly. The things we ordered were very tasty.

Excellent cafeteria in the center.

Very tasty food and always clean

The visit and the Patat Special are of course a must when you are in Oldenzaal!

Nice and friendly staff, good communication possible even without knowledge of Dutch words.

Tasty and certainly not stingy portions

Simple cafeteria. With tasty fries.

Tasty satay sauce. The rest was adequate. Chaotic, yet friendly service.

Good service, you can order by phone too.

Very good cafeteria, I like coming here.

Popped in for a tasty snack during 'a day in Oldenzaal'. Fries with a bami disc, which you can tell when you see the bami disc that it is tasty. Neatly served on a plate with cutlery and a napkin. Both the fries and the slice were fried very well and at the right time, and certainly not too greasy. Excellent price/performance.

Always friendly, low rates for good portions, good central location

Wednesday, July 25, around noon, at Cafetaria De Smulhoek. Very nice service, the food was fine, the toilet clean. Henk & Paul (2nd stage of our Amsterdam-Berlin bike tour)
