I ordered a hunter's schnitzel menu here, but the hunter's schnitzel came without hunter's sauce, which seems like a must for something like this. Furthermore, the special sauce came without curry and onions. The fries were soggy. What a terrible place, don't go here!

The food is very tasty. With the 'patatje oorlog' (fries with mayonnaise and onions), you get freshly cut onions, giving it a rich flavor. Additionally, the portion is large. We had the Dallas and Nashville burgers. These were also very tasty. The only thing is that the buns could be on the griddle a little longer so they are a bit firmer. Otherwise, a big thumbs up!

Unfortunately, I had cold food and the staff wasn't very friendly either. Next time I'll go somewhere else.

I had just placed a telephone order that was even repeated twice by the employee I spoke to on the phone. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect when I went to pick it up. The employees intended to quickly fry something else, causing the rest of my order to cool down. I consider this poor service. In the end, I just took my incomplete order with me so it wouldn't cool down. This is the umpteenth time something has gone wrong. In the future, I will go to a different cafeteria that delivers correct orders.

Upon entering, I was immediately told to throw away my nearly empty water bottle. 7.80 for a doner kebab made for gnomes, and it's cold to boot! It is served in a plastic container with a plastic fork. Once is enough, never again for this filthy snack bar.

If you want to pay too much for food that they cut up (e.g., a meatball that is cut in half piece by piece so they can sell even more. But... so stupid that they didn't cut one piece of meatball and it is a centimeter thick (as usual). Parts of an onion you wouldn't want to give to a pig. Very little sauce. Fries like chips, re-fried so many times that you immediately want to make an appointment for a cancer screening. And above all: COLD. So they get the fries ready first. It takes minutes for your 'mini-meal' to be ready. Then you get home (300m away) and everything is cold. And all that for 14 euros? Aren't you ashamed to charge such prices for rancid junk that is inedible? But the "laughable" part is that you just get food poisoning there!!! Not just me, I know countless people who have caught it. My advice: steer clear of this place if you care about your body. In my personal opinion, they can go bankrupt, just like that sleazy café of theirs next door. Lost 14 euros there with vicarious shame. And incurred medical expenses on top of that. Once, but never, never again!!! And in my opinion, more people should do the same.

Snackbar de Thij deserves a bit more recognition than it occasionally receives. We don't go every week, but when we do, it's simply perfect. Friendly staff, excellent food, no hassle. We always order online, and it's always good. Exactly what you'd expect from a good snack bar. A great local spot where they take pride in their work—you don't see that everywhere these days. Keep up the good work!

Customers are being yelled at while other customers are in the store, even if it's just between them. It's disruptive. Customers also took my food and refused to give it back.

The food served is tasty and excellent. However, this cafeteria is not in order in terms of corona rules. There were almost 20 people standing on top of each other and the staff said nothing about it. Keeping distance is not possible. Very unfortunate, otherwise great business.

I live on the Thij myself, but I prefer to cycle to the city to the greener cafeteria because Snackbar De Thij has very dirty, limp fries, always ask for extra frying so that it is still edible because they simply do not use the normal way of baking with them. overcooked and tastes like cardboard. Recently a hair between my sauce and a very aggressive owner towards suppliers. We were quietly eating some fries and you heard how he was threatening a boy at the back door. Just terrible. I will choose another place in the future. Just don't give them the turnover!
