I ordered something over the phone, and it was ready quickly, but the meatball was still raw inside. I called again and received a new one as a courtesy.

Good cafeteria and not too expensive. Woul recommend you come here after a day on the beach. The chicken saté is amazing.

Possibly the best place to eat in Egmon aan Zee. The prices are reasonable (especially by Dutch standards), and the food is good. The staff was particularly patient with us; they spoke English, Dutch, and Spanish (and consequently a little Italian due to the similarities between the two languages).

I went to this cafeteria this week during the Reffurence event! And I wasn't disappointed ! I was looking to fill my stomach cheaply and honestly, that's exactly what I loved about it; the staff were very kind and pleasant despite the huge crowds this week with the Reffurence 😅 If you're looking for something good and fairly heavy, this is the right place! Lovely snackbar with seating area. Went there during a huge convention nearby, the lines were super long and the seating area was full, but I still got serviced really quick. The food itself was marvelous and very tasty/fresh. Even the toppings were super fresh and there was real proper meat used. Would definitely recommend this place.

Heroes! There was a convention going on at the hotel, so it was incredibly busy, but they had everything under control and we were helped so quickly. The food was truly amazing, and the staff were truly amazing. See you next year!

For us, this is a must on any vacation in Egmond. Definitely try the Egmondburger with fried egg and roasted mushrooms! It's delicious, especially as part of the menu. The salad is a dream come true, with sun-dried tomatoes, walnuts, and a fantastic dressing. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Cafeteria de Egmond!

Well, it's so bad there's a collect o com across the street that's a kind of fair where they have all sorts of things but I eat there and order fries but we got 22 fries and I know that because I counted them

They don't know about fries on a water bike here. But I had a damn good meal.

We went there tonight, and the food was excellent. The staff was rude. Initially, we were asked if we wanted to order, but after less than two seconds, we were told, "No? Fine then." We then ordered inside because the terrace was full. We sat down and were asked if we wanted to order, explaining that we had already done so. The woman then rolled her eyes and sighed deeply at us not to do so (understandable, but the tone was awful!). We walked inside at the same time to say we were eating outside. They then said they would just wrap it up and not change anything. We were two families, and one family got everything on their plate, while the other had to take everything out of the bag! I find this truly scandalous and won't be coming back anytime soon. It's a shame because the food was excellent!

Cafetaria Egmond made a professional, skilled impression on us. The service is spontaneous, friendly and your order is quickly on the table. A neat place where you can eat nicely for a reasonable price. As a fries lover I was very enthusiastic to hear that they fry farm fries, very crispy and at the right temperature as fries should be. The homemade curry sausage also tasted delicious. In short, an excellent Cafetaria where they know their trade, really recommended for a good quality snack and tasty fries

Ordered via the website (from a lazy holiday address) checked delivery 6.15 pm... 6.15 pm sharp, an extremely friendly lady who did the delivery. Excellent food and good temperature...recommended...

We were looking for a little something for lunch away from the restaurant in the center of town. This “snack bar” directly opposite our hotel was ideal for this. We chose several of the Dutch specialties and really enjoyed them all as they were all very tasty. The snack bar is located directly on the thoroughfare to the beach, which is why the ambience suffers a bit, but the very friendly service and the good food easily compensated for this. In terms of price, the food on offer is also absolutely reasonable and even cheap compared to the restaurants in the town center. Absolute recommendation!

If you don't feel like the hustle and bustle of the shopping street and the promenade, just take a few steps away and you'll be rewarded. Great snacks of good quality, everything well maintained and clean. Here you can enjoy your snack much better and more calmly. Hello, Today I had something to eat with my family in the above-mentioned restaurant. The burgers and salad were great. As is often the case, the fries were a problem! Apparently cold fries were fried again. Too bad! Thank God our children have healthy teeth. Our son's nuggets were also very dark and crispy. Don't put up with anything and let it go back.

Nice meal! When the weather is nice, outside on the terrace. Table service and fast service. Recommended!

The first impression is charming as always, but neither is the food (chicken schnitzel from the deep fryer, dry fried and fillet in sake, also quite dry. The side salad with walnuts and capers. I would like to see the owners if someone with a nut allergy turns into an allergic one Shock falls) nor the service (unfortunately not very attentive) were convincing. Smoking outside is not permitted. Whatever the reason... You're sitting in the open air. Well... price performance leaves a lot to be desired. Once but not a second time.

So, to put it briefly: Everything was top, from the food to the service. I've never had a salad with capers and nuts in any cafeteria. Here it is standard. And that with a mixed salad! Cheers!

Were very satisfied here. A good mix of restaurant/snack bar, you can sit comfortably on the terrace or inside, the menu includes the typical snacks, fries and burgers (but also rolls and salad). Very friendly service. The food is delicious and really cheap compared to other restaurants in Egmond. Clear recommendation!

I can't understand the negative reviews, people you are in a Dutch Friture and not in a 3 star restaurant. I ate the Egmondburger there today, delicious and juicy! The man at the grill knows his craft. The fries were hot and delicious, the satay sauce was to die for. The waitress was super friendly. My God, what else do you want? 6 out of 5 possible stars from me Update from May 31, 2024: Two years have passed and what can I say, my rating remains the same, still 6 out of 5 possible stars. 👍👍👍

Delicious Egmondburger menu, provided by friendly staff in a clean, neat counter. The burger was real meat and well prepared. Fries nicely done with lots of sauce. Salad, fresh, crunchy, with dried tomato. Everything tasteful.

Endlich hat die Cafeteria Egmond nach ihrem Urlaub wieder geöffnet. Mega freundlicher Service, angemessene Preise und sehr leckeres Essen, sehr schön angerichtet (es ist eine Snackbude, kein Restaurant!!!!) Kipmenue und Berehapmenue mit Pommes und ein ungewöhnlich leckerer Salat. Unsere Nummer 1 in Egmond und Umgebung. Absolut empfehlenswert. TOP mit 5*****.

Ganz gute Snackbude in Egmond aan Zee. Pommes sind O.K. Saucenauswahl könnte noch größer sein, Samurai Soße bspw. fehlt. Es gibt das Egmond Bler, allerdings in einem nicht 100% sauberen Glas.

Wir waren, wie bereits die Jahre zuvor, Gäste in der Cafeteria Egmond und erfreuten uns an den hausgemachten Burgern. Der Service war wie immer schnell und hervorragend - unkompliziert und nett. Auch wenn es draußen bei strahlendem Sonnenschein netter ist, entschädigt das Essen. Die Preise haben etwas aufgeschlagen, aber das ist angesichts der allgemeinen Teuerung völlig ok.

Lekkerste snackbar in Egmond aan Zee. Fijn om daar te eten maar ook super met bezorgen. Bestellen regelmatig en altijd alles op tijd bezorgd en goede kwaliteit snacks en patat.

Lekkere schnitzel met patat en de cheese-bacon burger was ook erg lekker. Goede patat (erg patat-fan, dus dat zegt wel dat het écht goede patat is) ijsjes, 1 met stroopwafel en 1 met smarties. Heerlijk!

Schon wenn man rein kommt, sieht man wie sauber und freundlich alles ist. Der Klassiker, Pommes Spezial, ist einfach nur superlecker, aber richtig toll und kreativ ist der Salat. Super frisch und mit vielen Zutaten die zusammen wunderbar schmecken! Wirklich, sowas feines bekommt man selten in einem Imbiss. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind dann auch noch superfreundlich. Top!

Wie gewohnt, sehr netter Empfang und toller, aufmerksamer Service. Selbst gemachte Burger zu fairen Preisen. Schnell, gut, ausreichend und preiswert…wer kein Sternerestaurant erwartet, ist hier genau richtig. Reservierungen sind nicht möglich, aber laut Chefin ist immer irgendwo ein Plätzchen frei.
