Very good burgers and fries, not expensive

Once again in Egmond, and of course eating here was a must. This time we had a crispy chicken meal that was fantastic. The service was, as always, top-notch, and our order was served quickly despite the large number of customers. We'll definitely be back on our next holiday.

Loaded fries were very pricey and although the fries were good, I have had better loaded fries.

A staff girl wasn't very nice when I wanted to go to the toilet. I just wanted to fill my stomach.

Cozy place. Fries were delicious, i especially liked the peanut sauce.

The fries here are the best. Friendly service when ordering. Not too crowded and therefore not too loud. The seating is relatively comfortable.

A classic Dutch snack bar with a wide selection at reasonable prices. Something that's hard to find along the coast. The fries are delicious, made with fresh potatoes. The snack bowls are plastic; there are better, more environmentally friendly alternatives for dishes and cutlery.

The fries are simply fantastic. Crispy, fluffy on the inside, and not as light as you often get elsewhere. 😋 A full five stars for the fries. The service is okay. The tables could be wiped down a bit more often.

Contrary to previous reviews, my French fries weren't fresh. Instead, they were cold fries that had been put back in the fryer and cooked again. You can tell that's what happens when you look at the fries, and especially when you taste it. They don't taste good and are greasier than they already were and beyond crispy. It's strange, considering there was nothing going on at the time, that the fries weren't freshly made. Also, the saleswoman was pretty listless. I find it inappropriate that you have to pay 50 cents to use the restroom when you eat there.

Unfortunately, potatoes were fat and dry. Meat in the burger was not very tasty.

Very good food but a fly problem

The fries were made from fresh potatoes and were pleasantly crispy. It's a typical Dutch snack bar with a classic menu. The staff was friendly. There's a small outdoor terrace, and there's also indoor seating. Overall, a solid place for a snack.

Ordered 2 large fries and a frikandel XL. We think they were the ‘last leftovers’ of fries; lots of small and hard pieces of fries instead of nice big fries. Too bad, because when I looked at other visitors the fries looked better. We were looking forward to it but now it is literally and figuratively heavy on our stomachs. Grade a 4.

Really great, eaten there very often and it is a great place and super tasty, really recommended

2-3 years ago it was "my" chip shop in Egmond. Unfortunately, a lot has changed. Today, 30 minutes before closing time, no more burgers because the two boys had already cleaned the grill plate. It's a shame about the thawed (or fresh) patty on display, which will probably have to wait another day to be prepared. Generally significantly more expensive and noticeably smaller portions than two years ago. Large plus medium fries over 8 euros and only half a bag full. That's not possible, even if it's the "Flemish" fries. Burgers much smaller and no longer with fresh patties (eaten the day before yesterday, there were none today), cheeseburgers 7.30... and not much more than at McD.). Everything seems to be becoming excessively more expensive in NL. Maybe only in the tourist hotspots, but beautiful is different. I had booked the apartment particularly close to "my" - now unfortunately ex-favorite chip shop. Service: The two gentlemen seem to be doing this as a student job, because unfortunately they don't seem to have heard anything about customer friendliness. Sorry, I would have preferred a better rating.

Delicious fries and croquette. Prepared from excellent potato varieties and baked with love and expertise. The young lady who helped us speaks with love about her work and product. Excellent catering experience and fries.

The tastiest fries in the area!

Since I was little I have liked coming here. I live in Spain and every visit to my family… REQUIRED. Even my Spanish partner says it is the snackbar he likes the most.

It was dirty. We cleaned the table ourselves. Food was ok. The atmosphere is cool and something different.

We had the citizen's menu, the citizen's menu was very tasty, juicy patty, the fries were awesome. We can also recommend the krikadelle on skewers with onions in peanut sauce. No matter what we got, everything was edible and the service was super nice.

Good chip shop typically Dutch.

Fries are freshly made in-house, fried and snails are not bad. I can't yet judge whether it's the best in the area. There have been better things. Hamburger turned out small for me. Based on the packaging, it won't be any bigger. Meat was well grilled and ingredients were all fresh. The taste (sauce?) could be even better. That disappointed me a bit. Staff forgot our order a few times. This can happen because you never know what pressure the staff was under beforehand. But we were also compensated. No problem.

Small branch of SnackPlaza in Egmond. Few seats, but a great location next to the bus station. Nice meal.

The food is very decent, good prices and large portions though. The service was fine, nothing extra, but they do what has to be done. Ambiente is like the rest of this small town, peaceful. Btw, their special sauce is just ketchup and mayo with a lot of onions. Yea... stay away from it. xD

Very good snack, with typical Dutch specialties. Prices are reasonable and the employees, who speak German very well, were polite. We would definitely come back.

I was looking for a chip shop and found it. We were a bit late at 8 p.m., but it was very tasty. Hamburger fries sauces very tasty! Perfect for a chip shop!

Authentic chip shop with very tasty Frietjes....

I ate fries with a hamburger and the fries were delicious, made from fresh potatoes, so I didn't think the fresh Flemish fries were that great, hence the 4 stars, everything else was fine.

Wanted to eat there on October 31st, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. (90 minutes) before closing time. After the waitress had already pointed out to us when we came in that individual tables in the store were not allowed to be entered because they had been cleaned, we were rudely asked out a few moments later because dogs were supposedly unwelcome. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed on the entire restaurant area. Apparently the young lady is not interested in entertaining guests. Customer friendliness seems to be very important here.

Waar vind je nog zo'n plek? In een authentiek busstation kun je een heerlijk patatje eten.

Guter Imbiss, wenn es mal schnell gehen muss. Die Speisen sind vollkommen in Ordnung, wie auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Wenn wir in Egmond sind, sind wir hier sehr oft, aber auch weil es oft der einzige Imbiss ist, der noch auf hat. Hier findet man alle typischen niederländischen Imbiss Snacks. Pommes könnten oft etwas mehr Salz vertragen und je nachdem welche Bedienung man bekommt, sind es etwas wenig Pommes. Aber wir kommen trotzdem immer wieder.

Beste Bistro für den typisch Holländischen Kram aus der Fritteuse. Die Pommes sind Oberklasse 👍🏼

Es ist schon verwunderlich, dass man wenn man Pommes und was zu Trinken bestellt, dann den Bon erhält ein Milchshake aufgeführt ist. Der Preis für den Shake 3,5 und meine Bestellung 10 € da vermutet man, dass da der Fiskus hinters Licht geführt wird. Das beste fand ich, dass die gekauften Getränke (leer) nicht dort zurückgenommen wurden sondern nur im Supermarkt. Was für ein Schwachsinn. Und auch vermutlich der Besitzer war ein doch recht Unfreundlicher Zeitgenosse. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Aber Reichlich.

Fijne Snackbar, hele goede pindasaus

Eten was snel klaar en omdat wij met zijn tweeën 1 portie patat normaal bestelden kregen we een groot. En we kregen een muntje voor het toilet. Ze hadden ook nog de frikandel voor ons doorgesneden. Een echte aanrader!

Die Gerichte sind ziemlich teuer.

Beste Pommes Spezial weit und breit. Wir lieben diese Pommesbude. Immer unser erster Halt, wenn wir in Egmond ankommen. Im Mai sind wir wieder da und natürlich gibt es dann erst mal ne leckere Pommes. 🤤❤️
