We can't confirm the bad reviews. Apparently, the quality of service depends on the staff present; the two guys had everything under control... Long waits are due to the freshness; our burgers were cooked to order and were very tasty. We've had significantly more expensive, but worse meals! The BBQ burger was topped with a lot of (also freshly cooked) bacon, amazing! The fries are cut from fresh potatoes, so they just take a little longer. The ambiance is due to the location (street, bus stop), but you can see it beforehand...😏. Tip: Order a set menu, value for money!

The chip shop's concept seems great and modern at first glance. What immediately strikes you, however, is the large number of people waiting. At second glance, you can see that placing an order is already a challenge. You can do it online, via a machine, and, what's not obvious, at the counter. However, because of so much waiting, you don't dare approach the counter. After ordering, we had to wait about 15 minutes. Our meals, consisting of four dishes, all arrived late, so the first dishes got cold. Behind the counter, there's a lot of hustle and bustle with four employees. These four, however, seem very disorganized and make a mess of everything. Since we had time to observe, we believe that two employees who know what they're doing would be better and could significantly improve the service provided to guests. The tables for eating were dirty. Unfortunately, we have to confirm the negative review on Google.

Fries are very good. There is hardly any atmosphere directly at a bus stop and the seating is not particularly clean.

The fries were cold and rock hard, like they just came out of the freezer. The hot dog was in pieces in the bag – no bun, no shape, nothing. Everything was lukewarm and tasteless. Like they deliberately went out of their way to make it dirty. Never again.

Great and busy on weekends now they're the only place for " een patat met" nice people working there and working hard. Good patat indeed...the place to go

Young staff, 19 years old, who bake the fries. Especially the guy at the counter who seemed to be in charge. Baking took way too long because the boys baked too large quantities. This also makes it super greasy. I also got all kinds of small pieces today and I realized this too late. This snack bar is highly recommended. Worthless

You order food, you take your food with you, what you received is incorrect, then no one answers the phone. When you go back, all your food is cold. And you are told that you are lying for 2 croquettes that should have been in the bag. For more than 60 everything goes to jail

When you arrive in Bergen, you should definitely fortify yourself with a fry. They are freshly cut. But the other fried things are also great! Especially the satay croquette. I had never eaten like this before. It is slightly spicy and has a nice peanut aroma.

Haven't seen such a bad snack bar in a long time. Fries are soggy and at other snack bars you get your fries and snack right away, here there is 10 minutes between your snack and fries. It was because I was really hungry otherwise I would have thrown away the fries so badly.

The food is perfectly cooked and the staff is very sweet and nice, even if something is done wrong, it is immediately resolved perfectly, as it should be and the staff is super talkative to the customer, really very nice, super place, if I say so myself Highly recommended!!!

There are kids working there that lack manners. They didn’t seem to care about anything else besides closing time. I will look for another place next time.

Amazing location, amazing food and sause and veriorty

Prices way too expensive. Almost 4 euros for small fries war with little sauce. Really very economical. I could count the number of fries on one hand. Asked if it could be cooked through, which was agreed, but it was not accepted. Eating little and paying a lot fits well with Bello, which consists of containers put together. Service-oriented and customer friendliness is unimportant. Wouldn't like to come here again.

Authentic chip shop! Staff friendly, everyone obviously has their job, structure fits. Staff have fun at work, sing and laugh, but don't forget what's important. Now the most important thing: medium fries special is enough for me, children shared a medium fries and Frekanel special and were full too! Fries are made on site from fresh potatoes, fried twice and well seasoned. It looks a bit wild around, but that's typical in front of a chip shop. Overall tasty and friendly!

In the centre of Bergen, you won't miss it as normally a small queue and location is on the main street. A few outside tables to sit and eat your food. I had a lunch, food was good, better than the regular fast food chains. Vegetarian burger tasted good, plenty of sauce and a nice soft bun. Fries also nice, a little too salty for my pallette butr dipped in the frite saus they tasted good. The young servers did make a mistake which I didn't notice but the cash was refunded, nice bit of honesty there!! Nice place for some fast food if your bored of the regular fast food outlets!

I didn't like the fries, they were in the fryer too short, way too much salt on them and tasteless potatoes, I think that could be better!

Croquette, frikandel and hamburger sandwich were okay, but the fries were far too few with plenty of small brown pieces. Unfortunately, downright bad service, so next time we'll go to another snack bar.

We didn't even get fries for 2 people even though we had ordered a bag for three people. We called because we thought maybe a mistake had been made, but they didn't want to help us🥴 bit of a shame. Not only are prices going up, but portions are also apparently getting smaller.

3-person bag was max two small plates at home. When I called I was told that it was correct and there was nothing he could do. What customer friendliness 😳🤢

Fries are very good. There were 4 employees behind the counter.... Dear owner, if you're wondering where the weak point in your business is.... these are the 4 employees. I've rarely seen such disorganized, overwhelmed staff... and that's with one person Workload that someone could easily have done.

Food is ok but employees are very young students who don't care about customers. They keep laughing between them and service is then very slow and bad! They don't know anything about allergens and cannot inform customers. Also no allergens are mentioned on the menu. Very annoying and also can be dangerous when you are allergic.

There were hardly any customers, but it still took 2-3 minutes before I was asked if I was being helped. Then it took at least 2 minutes before two bags of fries were ready. Fries could have been fried a little longer.

Have ordered several menus and frikantel. The team suddenly became hectic and behind us there were already people waiting for their supposed fries. After about 45 minutes of waiting (without queuing), we were told that there were no fries and we were asked if it would be okay if we were paid the money for the fries. Was a bad deal! Furthermore, the food wasn't really lovingly prepared and it didn't taste really breathtaking either. The wait really wasn't worth it. I hope for the store that the processes are planned better so that there is no more confusion like this. A pity

One of the best reasons to go to Bergen

We ordered 2 weeks ago and received very few fries, we sent an email and it was resolved promptly.

Since September 2023, we have been getting something tasty from Bello every Friday. Very often tasty, sometimes hot dog bun burnt on the top. Boys do their best but it is very chaotic there. For 1 hamburger and 1 hot dog, the waiting time is 25-30 minutes. If the older (apologies!) method is available, it is more structured and therefore the waiting time is reduced. People are sensitive if they come earlier and get food much later. Sometimes there is no other way, but often it is forgotten due to the chaos. Too bad because eating there has potential. Without exaggeration, the best fries I've ever eaten and this from someone who normally doesn't like eating fries.

Really great, we went there several times during the week after work, and they always tasted... Delicious, The only downside was that at the end of work we only thought about burgers and not about work, which our boss didn't like, Worth recommending: BBQburger the best, fries 🍟 same, luckily we'll be back in two weeks 😉 Guests from the big bus 🚐 There was never a shortage of fries

Delicious cheeseburger, prepared exactly according to the rules of the art: not overdone, but well done. Next time I'll try a single (regular) cheeseburger; the double is really big!

The best and most convenient good quality food in Bergen, that is ready in minutes, staff are fluent in English /Dutch to understand any order or request and always respectful of their elders. Highly recommend the black Angus burgers and natuurlijk their fries.

We waren met zijn tweeën en na ons kwam er een grotere bestelling. Dus waren we eerder aan de beurt. Echter we kregen de harde stukjes, die nog onderin de bak lagen. Ik snap dat de baas ook brood op de plank wil en niks wil verspillen.Maar ik heb geen aardappel geproefd helaas. Bediening is echt modern, dus géén interesse, erg snel allemaal; de snacks kwamen 25 minuten na de friet. Wat mij betreft géén aanrader helaas. Sorry.

Heerlijke verse patat. Jammergenoeg wordt deze standaard afgetopt met mierzoete frietsaus. Porties zijn riant. De bamischijf was heerlijk. Qua sfeer, tja een zeecontainer met pubers. Weinig sfeer. Maar wel lekker patat.

Wat een tegenvaller. Vandaag patat gekocht omdat we vielen voor "versgesneden" Maar zoveel kleine stukjes, meer dan de helft van de zak patat was van heel matige kwaliteit. Nee, hier komen we niet meer terug.

Good streetfood in the centre of Bergen. Freshly cut potatoes, all kinds of burgers and of course superb hotdogs. Order at the counter, at a real human being or at a desk. Everything is possible. Food arrived fast, there were some benches and standing tables to eat and chill.

Eine zumindest günstige Alternative im doch recht teuren Bergen. Bestellung geht fix über den Automaten mit intuitiver Benutzerführung und auch auf deutsch. Pommes waren schnell fertig und gut. Unsere Burger kamen allerdings erst, als wir die Pommes schon gegessen hatten - und sie waren beide nicht gut. Fazit: Gut für schnelle Pommes, von den Burgern besser die Finger lassen.

Was für ein toller Imbiss. Tolle Qualität, sehr sauber und die Jungs sind super Freundlich und auf Zack. Die Preise sind auch echt fair. Haben hier die besten Pommes seit langem gegessen. Unbedingt ausprobieren.

Goede patat alleen het meredeel waren kruimels dat is jammer te normen maar dat doet afbraak aan het product.Kijk een paar kruimels is niet erg maar twee derde van het bestelde wel. Weet niet of ik daar nog ooit patat bestel. Errste ervaring was dus niet al te best

Bester Imbiss in der Stadtmitte von Bergen an der Bushaltestelle, gegenüber von Deka Supermarkt, für frisch geschnittene Pommes Frites. Hamburger schmeckt sehr gut.

good fries for a reasonable price

Ziet er van buiten super gezellig uit en trekt dus ook je aandacht. Aardig personeel en snelle service. De patat was erg knapperig en een goede hoeveelheid saus en zout. Het is lekker dat de patat vers gemaakt word het enige wat ik jammer vind is dat de aardappelen geschild zijn. Zonder schil valt de smaak gewoon een beetje weg. Dit is dan ook wel jammer

Super leckere und frische Pommes!

Lekkere producten, wel erg traag met het verwerken van je bestelling. Kan wel een kwartiertje duren. Overigens het loont het wachten wel!!!

Uitstekende snackcar met lekkere snacks en knapperige friet. Ernaast zijn enkele tafeltjes waar je kunt zitten. Aanrader.

Hab den Unterschied zu Tiefkühlpommes nicht geschmeckt!

Lekkerste patat die ik ooit gehad heb. Wordt vers gesneden. Grote porties en je wordt snel geholpen. Zeker een aanrader.

De patat wordt voor je neus vers gesneden van de aardappelen. Heerlijk na een mooie boswandeling in het Bos van Bergen Ook een ruim assortiment snacks, drankjes en heerlijk sauzen , Samurai-saus is een aanrader

erg slordig, maar 5 items besteld maar alles ging doorelkaar en kregen met grote intervallen steeds 1 snack. het was vooral vies in de zaak maar ook buitenom. de jongens waren matig gemotiveerd. de qualiteit van het eten was niet goedet name de ondefinieerbare stukken zwarte brokken in de gerechten (waarschijnlijk onder uit de frituur na 2 uur een keer naar boven gedreven). verder slechte parkeer voorziening (alles vol).
