Outrageously bad. When I read the reviews back, nothing has changed. This place should be closed. I don't know how long the grease hasn't been changed, but the kibbeling was lying in my container with black burnt bits. Kibbeling was soggy and soaked with grease. If I hadn't had guests with me and didn't want to ruin my evening, I would have parked the container back in their tent right away. When I threw away my rubbish, I saw even more unsatisfied, uneaten containers lying there. Service a bit arrogant. With a bit of passion, you can make this a nice place. Given the many Germans, this is a tourist trap!! For something tasty, it's better to walk to the beach entrance square. Close this place!!! (Didn't know I could add photos, otherwise I would definitely have done so)

Bet six. The booth wasn't a highlight over 25 years ago - and unfortunately nothing has changed. Even back then, the locals had never spoken well of this “fry ranch.” The hunger after the journey from the Ruhr area made us stop anyway. Result: €16.80 for two dry portions of fries with mayo and an extremely dark, completely fatty portion of kibbeling. In addition, there was an eternally long wait - the young employee seemed listless and completely disorganized. Conclusion: Never again! Next time it would be better to eat something real in the center of Bergen beforehand.

The cravings made us stop. The fries and kibbelinge were pre-fried. The fries were absolutely dry and the kibbles were very dark and greasy.

Really expensive, quality does not match the price. The employee was friendly, that's not the problem.

Outrageously bad. They have to make a choice here: either fry a greasy snack or sell fish. The kibbeling was shameful and the fried mussels criminal in quality. Herring comes from a wholesale package and the eel was in a slimy container. The young man was friendly and was busy with all the orders.

There's a first time for everything... I never expected that I would not eat my favorite, the 'fresh' herring. I have never thrown away a herring after 1 bite... but this place does not serve fresh herring, this is old mealy fish. Then we also see people around us staring at their black fried cod and considering throwing it away. I suspect that this guy is laughing his head off at all those stupid customers who keep coming while he sells junk and does not know how to prepare it. This is not an enterprise but a sad experiment. Go there if you want to eat something special that you fortunately can hardly experience anywhere else.

I've never had such nasty brown burnt fries before. So we will never come here again. And a couple behind us sat with 2 small containers of super dirty burnt kibbeling that looked more like charcoal!!!

The two employees paid more attention to each other. They were talking loudly together about going out. The fries were almost cremated. Really nasty

Food is ok, prices rise like others. The impudence is the unfriendly service who probably doesn't like tourists. Three different prices for the same order. Every time the mayo or the kibbeling dip was missing despite verbally ordering. Listless and unpleasant, I could also spend money elsewhere.

Very poor quality food and also very expensive. The hamburger sandwich was literally a soft white bun with a hard piece of meat on it, nothing else on it, not even a sauce. Kibbeling simply cannot be eaten. Fries special was mayonnaise with (literally!) half a teaspoon of curry and maybe 5 pieces of onion.

Skip this tent! Definitely a no go. Bickering? This should not be called bickering. Black deep fried pieces of tasteless fish in old oil + fries which tasted just as gross. 'Eaten', with 2 adults. 2 kids for 45 euros. Waste of money. Highly recommended!!!!

We always eat there when we are in Bergen aan Zee. Quality has remained fairly consistent over the years. Prices have risen sharply, portions have fallen sharply. Kibbeling now costs 7.50 euros. Quite steep. And the service is always consistently unfriendly and arrogant.

The oil is old. Fat runs out of the kibbeling and the kibbeling itself is not crispy.

Never had such bad bickering. Tasteless and fried in last month's grease. And also expensive. The customer service of the employee was even worse than the bickering. Had vicarious shame how he treated foreign customers in particular. My advice to him. Close that box and go find another job that you like. Once but NEVER again

Very tasty food, friendly service and good value for money!

Top fresh and very tasty fish in many variations. Very good price-performance ratio.

Anyone who expects 5-star cuisine from fast food is in the wrong place here. We always like to go to this location when we are out and about by bike.

A wonderful snack bar in Bergen aan Zer for 20 years

The stall is a classic and is a regular stop every time we are in Bergen aan Zee.

Today we ate a very tasty kibbeling with fries. Highly recommended if you visit Bergen aan Zee. The gentleman who helped me was also very friendly.

Very tasty fries with croquettes, very fast service. Depending on how the wind comes, it is also protected.

Disgraceful service. 2x4.5€ were 9.20€. Because of plastic (bowl for the fries). When I told him that it wasn't my problem unless he offered something else, I got the incredible answer that it wasn't his problem if it came from above. It wasn't posted anywhere, this plastic tax The fries were rather bad. He told a lady he had passed over twice when she complained that she should stand in line. They're doing too well in Bergen aan Zee! One star is already too many. Avoid at all costs!

We visited the Tijmes snack bar after checking in at the hotel opposite for a snack. Good selection of fish dishes. Next to the fish stall there is a small corner with tables and chairs where you can eat your food in peace.

A. Or the chip shop was in a bad mood. B. The chip shop hates his job. C. The chip shop had a huge hangover. Never pay a lot of money again at this cranky chip shop. What a sad boy.

RIP OFF . I've been going to Holland for over 40 years and have never had such bad and expensive fries. We also threw away the kibbeling.

Got 2 portions of kibbeling but it was burnt on the outside and still raw on the inside for €14.00

Fries are ok, kibbeling was too greasy and not enough fish. Everything is a bit questionable in terms of hygiene, the food on the display and the fries under the counter that don't seem to be well cooled. The most unpleasant thing, however, was the annoyed and stressed manner of the "cook" who didn't enjoy his work.

Worthless expensive chip shop, grumpy and rude staff who laugh in your face. Snacks (fricandel/croquette) that we ordered tasted like fish. I'd rather be hungry than go there and get something

Avoid! Expensive place with bad food. 7 euros for thawed fish, that's daring! Poorly fried, not crispy, yuck. Calamari rings were doughy, texture of the squid unrecognizable.

We had Kibbelinge with fries. Fries were delicious, but we have never eaten such bad Kibbelinge. They were dripping with fat (which tasted old) and were totally soggy, not crispy at all. The tables weren't particularly clean either. That's 11, 10€ per portion was definitely a waste of money. Tourist rip-off. Never again!!! After us came a family who were just as disappointed as we were. One star for the location, otherwise we wouldn't have given anything

Kleine Snackbude mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Auswahl ist gut, aber die Preise Recht hoch. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Es könnte aber alles etwas sauberer sein. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Ich hab meine 1. Frikandel + Pommes gegessen und es war sehr lecker.

Das schlechteste Kibbeling,-Menü, was ich je bekommen habe. Resteessen, Qualität minus - 5. Zu lange frittiert, Pommes ebenso, nur wieder. Das geht man nur 1x hin.

Statische sevice zonder lach. Kibbeling super vet van de olie zodat je bijna je mond verbrand. Ravigotte saus niet super. Friet daarintegen super lekker en vers gesneden leek het. Kibbeling friet twee x saus en frisdrank rond de 14 euro.

Dure zaak, porties veelste klein en kwaliteit is matig.

Mooie plek met zon en schaduw plekken om te zitten. Vriendelijk personeel. Van ijs tot vis. Redelijke prijzen. Contant en Pin mogelijk. Zeker een keer bezoeken.

Maandag 5 September hier twee friet gehaald. Het was zeer weinig,veel kruimels( verbrand dus weggegooid), oud vet en duur.Komen hier niet meer.

Leckere Snacks Preislich leider im oberen Bereich. Aber durch Strandnahe Lage wohl normale Preise. Eine Portion Kibbeling 6.80 €

Net een bakje kibbeling gegeten, nog nooit zo slecht gehad!!! Vreselijk vet en weinig vis, het leek af en toe of ik in lucht hapte, geen aanrader omdat ze in oud vet bakken volgens mij, ik kom hier zeker niet weer!

Leckere Speisen, Qualität gut. Viele Einheimische, gutes Zeichen, wenn die dort Mittag machen.

Pommes Wagen halt .....nix besonderes.....dabei noch recht teuer.....als einziger Wagen vor Ort kann er das wohl auch ....🤷🏼‍♀️

Um mal eben einen kleinen Snack einzuwerfen ausreichend. Nix besonderes an Speisen, keine super Sitzgelegenheiten, keine besonders erwähnenswerten günstige oder teure Preise. Einfach nur ein durchschnittlicher Imbiss.

Typische holländische "Frittenbude", im besten Sinne. Sehr freundlicher Service, auch wenn viel los ist. 😊 Empfehlenswert alles, was aus dem Meer kommt. Eine Tüte Pommes mit Mayo und dann wenige Meter an den Strand. 😊 Was will man mehr?

Lekkere patatjes, beetje aan de prijs. Maar 1 medewerker terwijl het best wel druk was.

Wat wil een mens nog meer, gisteren heerlijke kibbeling met frietjes op. Denk niet dat je meer kunt of mag verlangen, zeker als snackbar een prima stek.
