Cafetaria Friet van Riet in Breda west

The best fried snacks I have ever had.

Special snacks that are surprisingly tasty.

Went out for dinner with two friends today. I had the best viandel and sito stick ever here. The staff were super friendly. Great place!

Super sweet people, always up for a chat, and the food is good. Ben, Melissa, Djaylinn

Such tasty fries and milkshakes of all kinds

Gigantic homemade viandels that are really good and crispy. Their small fries are almost a medium or nearly large; we couldn't finish them all. Crispy fries too; highly recommended! The only downside: no prices visible on the board.

Great cafeteria. Lots of homemade snacks.

Review with correction to the second half. An excellent chip shop and tasty scoop ice cream; I enjoy going there. But as a milkshake lover, they score a zero. I have ordered a milkshake several times, but every time it feels like you are drinking ice-cold milk. Not the thickness I am used to. A correction from here. Otherwise, a very good chip shop. I especially love the 'oorlog de luxe'.

Always tasty fries! We only know them from ordering, but they always arrive good and hot. And here they have delicious, original snacks; the damn hot viandel is highly recommended 😍

Super tasty fries with homemade stewed beef, one of the best I've ever had. Ordered via Hebbes and delivered exactly at the agreed time!

Delicious fries with a tasty snack. The Frietje van Riet is especially recommended.

Had a delicious and gluten-free meal

Very friendly staff, food is always great. Highly recommended.

Tasty fries and good snacks, friendly staff, and a clean place. What more could you ask for?!

Friendly and helpful etc... great fries place

Fries from Riet?? You won't regret it!! 😃 You can no longer call this an ordinary chip shop/snack bar. Rather, it is a specialty fries shop, with a passion for the craft and countless taste sensations! An enormous variety of super tasty homemade/fresh (!) fries & snacks, with unique toppings as a specialty. Choose from many ‘exotic’ creations, and you can also pick a delicious ice cream for dessert. You name it; Riet has it! 😉 - a frikandel with disco dip, the “discodel” - a bag of fries with delicious fry seasoning inside, with the instructions “shake well before use” (shake it, till you make it!) - a Fiësta fries! What a party for your taste buds! 🥳

Always good fries. And always a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. And the homemade snacks are super tasty.

Great! Friendly people and delicious fries! Gluten-free options and tasty snacks, also creative with your own snacks and choices. Good!

Always friendly, tasty personal specialties - fries from Riet (fresh fries with chicken thigh and curry mayo) - fries fiesta (minced chicken, melted cheese, spicy sauce) Ever tried the Belgian burger? Never had it anywhere before.

Nette friettent. Vriendelijke mensen, snelle service.

Very friendly staff. Nice terrace in the summer.

Unreachable Neither by phone nor by email. Bad business, including receiving the wrong order.

Delicious fries and tasty standard snacks, but also delicious snacks from our own kitchen.

I was in the area and thought I'd grab some ice cream with my wife. The staff were very friendly, and I had a delicious ice cream too! I'll definitely come back next time we're in Breda!

One of the best chip shops (if not the best) in Breda

the cervela is very tasty and the fries too and the staff very friendly

The food was fine but the customer service was very poor and not friendly.

Bart and Lotte always make sure you have a great team that gets your order ready quickly! A fantastic chip shop!

Top snack bar with friendly staff.

Super good quality and very enthusiastic service. Generous portions for a reasonable price. It's clean, tidy, and the atmosphere is always friendly. Highly recommended!

Delicious fries and friendly staff

Yesterday I tried fries (hard fried) fiesta for the first time, delicious! I've never had such delicious fries before.

Great fries with, take away, cone, helpful staff and good fries, price not exaggerated

Delicious fries and friendly staff.

Very neat chip shop, with nice staff!

FRIES FIESTA!, what a delicious fry!

Great stuff from our own kitchen, highly recommended,

Riet, despite the negative reactions, we're going to have a nice meal at your place this afternoon without Pietje. I think we can all organize it together.

Fries with Rendang. Super delicious!!!

It took ages, we had to wait over an hour for our order. They can't handle the Sunday rush. Lots of unsociable customers.

A cozy chip shop in a residential area of Breda, just minutes from the highway. After a few hours of driving, we were looking for a quick, gluten-free bite and ended up at Friet van Riet because of their selection of gluten-free snacks: frikandel, vegetable croquette, and beef croquette. The sauces—such as fries sauce/mayonnaise, curry, and satay sauce—are also gluten-free. I ordered a small "frites oorlog" (fried war fries) with a gluten-free frikandel and croquette. The croquette didn't quite turn out right, but they resolved that immediately and without any problems by re-frying it. It was great that they handled it so smoothly. The chip shop has two tables inside and a small terrace in front. The staff were very friendly, making me feel welcome right away. Highly recommended for anyone craving a quick, gluten-free snack on the go!

Loved it! Great chips, big and crispy. House made 'stoofvlees' was amazing! So was the rendang, peanut sauce and 'kapsalon'. Great flavours friendly service and good value. Plenty of parking space.

Nice and good chip shop on Monsieur Nolensplein. Good sandwiches and fries.

They forgot an order but they solved it very well, good service

Nice clean shop, friendly service and delicious food.

🍟Friendly people, delicious ice cream🍴

Always friendly service and delicious food!

Absolutely recommended. Various snacks are still prepared traditionally in our own kitchen and that makes this small cafeteria a special one. You just have to experience it yourself. On warm days there is also artisanal ice cream.

Potatoes are a good choice! Unfortunately, they're salt-free! You get a packet of salt. Which doesn't work! Try getting that under your dollop of peanut mayonnaise. Peanut sauce, too sweet for my taste, doesn't belong with peanut sauce.

The fries are tasty. You will be helped in a friendly manner.

Limp fries, spicy frikandel was really rancid but I couldn't order a frikandel special with Thuisbezorgd 😂

Very disappointed. Didn't get a snack (but paid for it) and the milkshake tastes like a yellow cloth from the kitchen. Luckily the fries were tasty...

Great job, always a personal approach.

Rarely have such tasty fries! We ended up here by chance, but we might drop by again when we're in the area. Absolutely recommended!! Delicious pure fries with various homemade snacks. The staff is very friendly and the cafeteria is stylishly decorated.

Great staff great food and a lovely atmosphere

Lekkere friet voor een schappelijke prijs. Assortiment vegetarische snacks mag uitgebreider, verder top.

Very tasty fries and good snacks. Very friendly lady to be helped by. Topper

The fries and snacks are really perfect. especially the bami disc, never had such a tasty one before. The fries have no salt on them, and I like that because I can decide how much I want on it. the portion of fries you get are perfect, not too big, not too small. and the service is perfectly the same, with how clean it smells and how clean it looks, and does not immediately give a nauseous feeling due to strong frying air. the atmosphere is also perfect, never seen a chip shop that is so neat and attractive.

A great place can serve you good food

The fries were lukewarm and covered in sauce. Couldn't tell the mayo from the curry. Bami disc was very greasy and had a strange aftertaste.

What a nice location, and delicious fries. Also a great sweet owner. Even though we live further away, we will definitely go back again.

The fries may have become a bit soggy under the heavy blanket of mayonnaise, the croquette may have been a bit on the soft side, but all this was more than compensated for by the exceptional, high-quality bami disk. At first glance, the crispy crust makes you believe that you are dealing with a slightly overbaked disc, but once you bite through it you will discover the wonderfully soft interior with a fresh yet spicy, well-seasoned mix of spices. All in all, the bami disc gets a 4.8 out of 5 from me!

Leuke tent, goed eten, fijne bediening. Blijft goed !!🍟

Tasty food , fast , and amazing service :)

Super friendly staff, the fries are perfect almost every time and all the snacks are always delicious. Mind that if you ask for sauce they add it onto your fries, which for me is a bit much. But you can always ask for it to be on the side!

Onze nieuwe favoriete friettent!

Erg lekkere friet, vriendelijk personeel.

I used to work at a fry shop that was famous for having the crispiest fries in the Netherlands. The fries I had here are even BETTER! 😋👌 Super friendly staff as well. Do recommend.

Lekker patatje huisgemaakte stoofvlees!

VERY NICE STAFF, VERY CLEAN PLACE. I just wish the fries were crispy, and served with some salt.

All the food items are delicious. My favourite - chicken wings, Burger and not to forget the crispy tasty friets (aka fries) .All thumbs Up for the owner and the place.

Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker eten. Gewoon zoals t hoort!🥳

Leuk personeel en super lekker eten! 🤩

De Bacon CheeseBurger is echt een aanrader! Heerlijk! 🙌🏻🍔 Bestelling was erg snel klaar gemaakt :)
