Cafetaria King Lao in Wijk 00 Aalsmeer

€1 for a ketchup packet!! This is ridiculous.

I was assisted very quickly and professionally when ordering, everything was correct even under time pressure and last minute changes.

I went with the reasonably good reviews. Unfortunately, the bad reviews are right. The fries were cold and not cooked properly. I received the wrong sauce with the frikandel XXL, which was also lukewarm. A good €20 for mediocre quality. It's a real shame, because the restaurant itself looks nice.

The food is great and fresh. The atmosphere and service are also good. If you are looking for this, definitely go here.

The food is great, the service is usually great (in Dutch and English). Tons of menu options, pleasant atmosphere. They have definitely updated some signs so it doesn't look exactly like the shown pictures (as of March 2025). I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the chocolate milkshake 😊

The opening hours on the door say it's open until 9:00 PM, and Google indicates this as well. We arrived at 8:05 PM, the door locked, and everyone was already cleaning. The door was opened, but I didn't really enjoy eating amidst the smell of soap and the staff cleaning. So I brought something simple instead of actually enjoying a meal.

Just a good snack bar. The food is good, it's clean, the whole place doesn't smell like a fryer. Also plenty of seating if you want to eat there.

As always, very good service, very tasty food and the orders we picked up were ready on time at the agreed time, as always.

Food is generally good, but sometimes fries are too salty or something on the bill that belonged to another table. Waiting times are usually considerable and real crowds cannot be handled. Then you also see people returning with full boxes because something is missing or has been delivered incorrectly. Expensive too, unfortunately we won't go back.

Nice dutch food with a little Asian touch

Tonight I ordered 1 veggie cheeseburger, 1 special hamburger, 2 fries and 2 large milkshakes. At home the bag came with 2 regular cheeseburgers, 1 hamburger sandwich, 2 fries, 1 large milkshake and 1 medium milkshake. Was very chaotic at that time due to many customers wanting to eat on site.

A great asset to Aalsmeer! Price/quality very good. Service was good, helped by a friendly lady. And the food was very good too. Definitely worth repeating for us.

Had a croquette sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and an egg roll. The layout of the plates could be a bit better. Looked a bit sparse/boring. Doesn't detract from the quality. That was fine. It's nice that you can also go to the toilet.

Always very nice service, an extensive menu from the chip shop to sandwiches or a delicious plate. If you are in Aalsmeer, this is definitely a good place to have a snack.

Today June 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM we had to be here in turn and were looking for a snack bar for lunch. What a great snack bar! Customer-friendly, child-friendly, animal-friendly, very clean and much more. Food is very neatly prepared and presented. In short, if you go for quality, just come here. Unfortunately we don't live nearby, but we will definitely go there soon. From us, the lady who helped us and the business get a big 10! Family 2 adults, child 12, dog 4 months old.

Neat on several fronts. So clean and friendly service. The dogs were also allowed inside (sitting right around the corner) due to bad weather. Delicious coffee too!

Had a cheeseburger and fries here. From my first bite, I wished that instead of this €3.25 burger, I had gone to McDonald's and had a cheeseburger, which was warm and edible. The bread was dry and had the quality of supermarket burger bread, the meat was not too warm and the whole thing was cold. I didn't enjoy a single bite of the burger. The fries were tasty, by the way.
