On the day of the arrival parade, I ordered and picked up fries by phone. The store was packed with people waiting. It was impressive how the staff remained calm and prepared the customers' orders from behind the fryers.

Very bad food, fries fried for far too long, rock hard, no tomato sauce for the shawarma, dirty and you sit in a very unpleasant place. The outside terrace is piled up between the existing furniture, just don't go. One big disappointment

I was here recently and specifically asked for onions with my "patatje oorlog" (war fries) because of another review posted here. They charge ten cents extra for that. Look, I couldn't care less if you make the "patatje oorlog" ten cents more expensive, but just factor that in. It's common knowledge that onions are often (admittedly, not always) included with "patatje oorlog" (if not, just read Wikipedia). Then I got onions that shouldn't really be labeled "chopped"; they were incredibly coarse (half a finger's length). I feel like a real whiner, but isn't this a basic thing to do at a chip shop?

Asked for two chips on the war, come home and see no onions? Excuse me? They could have at least asked if I wanted onions. Vegetable croquettes are unbearable. It may be a good place for the rest, but at these prices I won't take the risk anymore.

If you want something on the table around dinner time, you shouldn't be here, a simple order took me more than an hour and it was also a lot less than the name “4 persons fries” suggests.

Very tasty kapsalon, well done fries and good meat/sauce ratio. The fries/snack eaters indicate that the fresh fries were well liked, could have been a little saltier, but that was easy to solve yourself. Delicious viandel!!!

Burnt flesh. Called the shop and said I had burnt doner. He offered me a new doner dish but I didn't do that. A very bad thing. So that's why 1 star

Good cafetaria that offers the traditional Dutch snacks, fries and pizza. They also offer Turkish specialties like Döner and Shawarma. They offer 'regular' fries, as well as their own freshly cut, homemade ones to an additional charge. Mostly used as a take-away place, though they offer three booths of seating for eating in.

A new owner who has a number of other catering businesses to his name. I've eaten at their place before and I really enjoyed it. good quality food and what is very important to me is hygiene and that is certainly the case with this owner. I thought the previous owner was just a dirty and cheap guy who stood in the middle of the kitchen with his skewer, scraping food scraps between his teeth. I'm glad you're here Cafeteria Steenbok.

the food is great at the Steenbok in Nijmegen the employees are friendly towards customers and they just have a nice chat with you and it is really cheap and delicious food they have pizza every Tuesday for 5 euros and so on my advice is come by, it's really delicious food
