Ordering food there was always good, but I was very sick after last Saturday night. Loose stools for two full days. I hadn't eaten anything else that Saturday or met anyone else. I'm going to call them. Furthermore, I find the lady of the house in particular not customer-friendly. She can barely manage a friendly word. At the moment, I cannot prove whether the food poisoning was caused by the meatball dish with raw vegetables, but it is plausible given what I mentioned earlier in my post. I have called them in the meantime and they indicated that they are going to pay extra attention to the raw vegetables.

Scandalous service from start to finish!! Waited for nearly 2 hours while the app indicated the order was on its way. When I contacted them myself, I was brushed off with the statement that I should just call Thuisbezorgd, because it was “MY FOOD.” Remarkably, Thuisbezorgd actually states that in these kinds of situations, you should contact the restaurant. Only after further discussion did the story suddenly change, and it turned out my order had arrived after all. The communication was chaotic, unprofessional, and contradictory. At no point did I receive clear or honest information about the status of my order. In the end, I was left empty-handed and received no food at all. No solution, no responsibility, and not a single form of customer friendliness. Never again for me. A company that treats customers like this does not deserve trust. If you want to receive your food on time and be helped properly if something goes wrong, I would absolutely skip this cafeteria.

I ordered food here and they forgot the peanut sauce. They delivered the peanut sauce afterwards, but by then the fries were already cold and therefore not tasty anymore.

Ordered food, was also fine. Delivered well within the indicated time, great. BUT.. Forgot 2 things, a milkshake and a tub of ice cream of €8. Called back, yes ma'am we will bring it right over. Well indeed, the doorbell rang, but only with the milkshake. Well then choke on it, don't order from them again..

The croquettes were overcooked and bitter, and the service could have been a bit friendlier. Other than that, the food was excellent, and when the male owner is around, the service is excellent with a smile.

Wok to go! the dish wok to go with noodles and shrimps. You only have to look for the shrimp and unfortunately also the noodles, luckily the sauce is tasty and plentiful.

Really nice meal here. Furthermore, really good service. For example, I was helped with choosing food and the service was friendly. Friendly family helping each other in the cafeteria. And that girl in the cafeteria is a good fryer, she is really great.

Picked up sushi here which wasn't fresh. The sushi had such a strong fishy smell that I threw it away, as raw fish should absolutely not smell. It seems to me that the employee must have smelled this when making my order, but still gave it to me.

26 -07-2021. Now ordered for the third time at Cafetaria Maat. Last time I asked for fries that were softly fried, but I got hard pieces, bami balls were fine (I normally think these are one of the tasty ones in the area). Now ordered again, and it took almost 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes, but okay, it can be busy. I get my fries in large size again with the majority of hardened pieces. And the bami balls and the pikanto had been in the fryer for far too long You could immediately see this in the dark color and you could also taste it. One plus point was that there was 1 more bami ball than I had ordered, but it was also just like the other dark bami balls. It's a shame. So I won't be placing an order here again anytime soon.

Bought voucher via Social Deal, you are not allowed to use it immediately at Ter Maat, you can only use it the next day, you have to make a reservation first and the steps are completely unclear. So I now have to order food somewhere else because I can't use my voucher at Ter Maat today
