Read a lot of bad reviews but our experience was the opposite. The staff was very attentive and fast and came every time to ask if everything was to your liking. Dishes were served quickly after ordering and were fine. Not Michelin quality, but you can't expect that for this price. 2 very big pluses of this restaurant: no time limit and you can just order a free carafe of tap water with your wine. I have never experienced that before at an all-you-can-eat concept.

The tapas were delicious. Outside there are cozy seats, where the heaters are turned on in colder weather. A bit of a shame is that sometimes there is an unpleasant sewer smell from the street over the terrace.

We had dinner at Solera on May 5. Everything went wrong and most of the staff did not act cheerfully, all the dishes were mixed up and the dishes from the wrong tables arrived. Fortunately there was 1 waitress with dark long hair, I believe her name is Larissa, who remained cheerful and spontaneous!!! A winner in times of stress!!! Hats off to you for how calm and attentive she remained. The food we received (after 1.5 hours) was delicious. So nothing to complain about the food, but how things turned out was terrible... all respect for Larissa (if that's her name) who at least kept the guests in by explaining everything calmly.

We've been here before, but yesterday it was just really bad... waiting an hour per round. The food was also not tasty this time, probably due to the crowds. Once I asked if everything was going well, but then I was told that it was just busy. Then the drinks were also lukewarm. When paying, the drinks were deducted from the receipt, but we had to pay for the food (the 2 rounds in 3 hours) in full.

We had dinner at Solera last night and it is the last time we come here. We had to wait more than an hour for the first round of food. Because it took so long, we ordered the 2nd round. The cold and warm dishes were mixed up. Hot dishes were cold. It was explained that there was a communication problem with the kitchen. However, that is not the customer's problem. After round 2 we decided to leave because it didn't just happen to us, it didn't improve the atmosphere. No compensation at checkout, just had to pay the full price even though we only had 2 rounds. Also not pleasant to have to order via your own phone with a QR code.

Top, very tasty food, good service. Nice concept. April 27, 2025. Terrace almost empty, and still had to wait a long time for a beer. The food was fine again.

I have been here, the food was tasty, only the fries with cheese gucamole were a bit less, it had no taste at all... the service could be better I had to wait a long time for the food. I got a broken glass which I find strange because they could just throw it away...

Service, atmosphere, no accessibility to toilet, etc. Actually everything was bad. Didn't have anything in stock even though it is Easter Monday. Went here with Social Deal and were happy that we could return to Enschede. Definitely not recommended!

It was just really bad and I don't want to waste any more words on it. Definitely not recommended and hopefully you will also read my Social Deal review which is not posted.

Today I was at Solera in Almelo with my mother. We had to wait a long time before someone came to take our order. Nobody showed up. I had scanned the QR code and ordered two drinks, but it was not possible to order food via the QR code. Eventually an employee came with drinks that we had not ordered. One drink was right, but the other wasn't. Our table was very dirty. We asked for the table to be cleaned and for a menu so we could order something to eat. Finally we got a bottle of apple juice, but they didn't have what we wanted. Moreover, we were not given a straw or glass. We thought we would have to wait a while for a glass so we could drink, but no one came. After an hour of waiting, our table still hadn't been cleaned, we had no glass or straw to drink, and there was still no menu to order anything. I knew Solera isn't always great in terms of service, but this was much worse than I expected. This was my last time going there.

It is a nice and cozy restaurant. However, the doors to the conservatory were open, causing a draft. We have been to tapas restaurants more often lately and Solera has missed the boat a bit. The choice of dishes is disappointing, especially the desserts (important for many), but the taste and quality of the dishes could also be improved. The app for orders also does not work properly, this can certainly be improved.

You should not eat when you are hungry because it will take a long time and small amounts to get you.

Delicious food!! Many different and very tasty dishes to choose from. And with 'all you can eat' there is plenty of choice for every eater. Quite a big, and therefore noisy, affair. But the service was very friendly and fast.

Cozy, atmospheric tapas restaurant with nice Spanish music and a friendly boy serving. Turkish roll with steak tips was delicious! No nice weather now, but also a beautiful conservatory and large outdoor terrace. We will definitely come again. Thank you.

Been here a number of times for tapas over the past 20 years. Cozy tent with a charming interior and nice staff. The food is disappointing. The meat in particular is often on the dry side. I have the feeling that a lot is prepared far in advance and only heated up. A cold fish dish was also served on a too dry cake with trout, which in itself was also quite dry and tasteless. This has not improved over the years. The potential is certainly there, but in my opinion the quality of the food really needs to improve.

Nice restaurant under the care of Van Der Valk Almelo. Grabbed the all-you-can-eat menu. Dishes are of excellent size, can be on the table in not too long, and the taste is also more than excellent. Staff is friendly and alert. Andre Hazes coming out of the speakers is a minor disappointment. Would have liked to hear some Spanish or Mexican music to complete the experience. But despite that, we will definitely go back again 👌😃

The service was very pleasant and good, the atmosphere is also good. The food was disappointing, some dishes were fine but others, such as the chicken with mozzarella and the salad with blue cheese (a large piece of blue cheese with a lettuce leaf and figs) were disappointing. We come to la cubanita regularly and this one is much better and consistent.

I have never eaten such bad tapas before, it was dry meat and salmon, it was either not seasoned enough or it was too overly seasoned... fries bravas, just look up how it should really be done, it didn't look right... Service was super bad, we were there at 7.15 pm and at 8 pm we had only had our 1st round... So no, I don't recommend this restaurant!!! And if the waiter is petting the dog of someone who is sitting on their terrace, it is not very tasty if you then have to serve food to your guests!!!Bah bah!!!

Boxing Day, eating out, a tradition but this time... very disappointing. It started at the entrance door, which is very heavy. This causes the door to close hard when it is released. It really pops. At least the Christmas atmosphere is missing in the restaurant. The positive thing is the liqueur 43 that is offered as soon as you sit at a table. And the house bubbles are also positive since proseco was not in the range. The staff is also customer friendly. Now the food... tapas that should not be called tapas. The meatballs, which are advertised on the menu as Italian meatballs, are tasteless supermarket meatballs that are covered with tomato sauce/puree. Presumably just from a can. The mushrooms were watery, unfortunately not tasty either. As soon as you bite into a mushroom, a lot of moisture is released, causing all flavor to be lost. We did our best to order something that would hopefully be fresh and tasty. Unfortunately we were not successful. It was all watery or too salty. The dessert, which was ultimately what we were hoping for, unfortunately did not make up for it either. Fruit that was topped with mango foam, or at least that's what it should have passed for according to the app or the menu. Such a shame. The apple pie didn't work either. And there was something else but my memory just blocks. The app, which can be used to order, works, but... there are still plenty of people who do not like this. The card, which also serves as a coaster, has very small print, making reading difficult. A plate would also be nice instead of the small bowls that you constantly have to eat from. Not possible with a knife and fork. A very disappointing evening in the restaurant. When paying, the question arose whether everything was satisfactory.... All mentioned above because you really can't sell this to people. The bill was lower than previous years but really...we would rather pay more for a wonderful evening with great food that leaves a positive memory. We would rather have spent this bill on a good cause. Done with a social deal lunch. Really got a lot for the money. The only disadvantage is the narrow stairs to the toilet. Would rather use the toilet downstairs.

Delicious wrap. Was there on Tuesday afternoon it was almost a private restaurant hahaha. Staff was hospitable and could also chat with them.

One star is too much, wouldn't recommend this place. First of all, I got food poisoning, and the time between meals takes a lot. And would recommend changing your menus and properly translating Spanish words.

In a word, scandalous. Especially staff and management! Without batting an eyelid, charge 18 euros for a 3-year-old child who has eaten 3 fries and a few nachos. While it was agreed with the waitress that the child would only eat with us. You'll never see me here again.

Overall score of just under six. Wait staff in orange shirts still have a lot to learn, a lot. Quality tapas is good enough but not more than that. All in all, it reminds us of the now well-known expression in the Netherlands: mass is cash register. Delicious food, large portions and conveniently ordered via the QR code. The food arrived quickly. The terrace was attractive, the service was super friendly. Also a nice play area for younger children on the terrace and a children's menu. I will definitely come back with my family!

The worst among all places I have visited. Waiter often ignore you, it takes infinite to wait until someone will notice your table first. Also the quality of food doesn’t compare to the prices. Poor menu, barely anything to order.

We made a reservation through an offer from socialdeal. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a spot. We were early and the only customers at that time, so we could sit anywhere. We ended up sitting in the conservatory, which was a great spot in the heavy rain. We could choose from a starter and a main course (lunch). The food came out pretty quickly and tasted great. Everything was very fresh and you got generous portions. This place is definitely worth repeating.

I decided a long time ago that I would never go here again because of the bad food at the time. The family wanted to come here for my mom's 86th birthday, so that's fine! But really, never again. Present at half past seven, first meal at half past nine. Dirty food and had two rounds at a quarter to 10. You can no longer order after 10 p.m.!!! Drinks are not served, tables are not cleared. The staff is downright bad, but they are young, often do not speak Dutch and are inexperienced! The saddest thing is that my mother has to withdraw more than 500 euros from her state pension after such an experience. If you still had a fantastic time, okay, but this is really scandalous!!

You can enjoy delicious food here, tapas and other fine dishes. They just can't make a mojito. This is truly the worst mojito ever. I have already sent it back once and received a new one, but the same sheet and suit. Nice terrace, nice atmosphere, good food

Enjoyed a delicious lunch, tacos with shrimp and avocado. Highly recommended in terms of price/quality/taste. Sun and good background music on a cozy terrace. The friendly waiter and sweet friends complete the 5 stars. You can go here for that holiday feeling.

We had a delicious meal with 6 people and enjoyed it! The children could play outside and have a bite to eat in the meantime, the atmosphere was fantastic, super nice staff and the bill was not too bad, we enjoyed it for 3 hours, thank you!

We wanted to try it again because we were in a hurry the last time. It really takes forever to help you. It is poorly explained and the wait is really not worth it. The food is often reheated and there is a lot of juice from reheating and a lot of sauces over most of it, which does not do justice to the meat. Staff keep walking past you and not looking at you, so you can't order anything if you don't call them yourself. The portions are also strangely distributed, they serve baguettes, nachos and olives, for example, which is a lot compared to other things on the menu. Not worth going to again for us.

Yes, very average. Thought it was okay, on average. Expensive, price-quality not in balance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not everything was fresh (carpaccio was really tough) and I had my reservations about the tuna, it looked a bit glassy. All in all, quite expensive for average food

You can sit there in a relaxed atmosphere, with conviviality and tasty 🍸🍹 Nice for a pleasant evening. The only downside: all you can eat and eating from the menu is quite a difference in terms of quantity (from the menu; it is much too expensive for what you get). If Solera adjusts that, it is 👌🏼

Went for dinner recently, but definitely the last time. The food was dry, not fresh and not tasty. Left after 2 rounds. Menu on the table does not match that on the phone (other names and some dishes cannot be found at all). This used to be a nice tent, nothing left of it.

I had dinner at this tappas restaurant with a group of 4 on the evening of July 11, 2024. Previously I had very good experiences, but this time I was served raw chicken. which made me very ill and a friend of mine had the same complaints when we were still there, we indicated this but we were not taken seriously.

Not what it once was. Solera used to be really delicious. Now we have a lesser experience. Food was very spicy. We also wanted to cook everything thoroughly because of the pregnancy and this went wrong 3 times. You were also very close to each other. On hard chairs. Not for us again unfortunately.

Ate on Sunday May 12, 2024, had an all you can eat Tapas, but there was no dessert or drinks. Okay, I know that drinks sometimes have to be paid separately. But no one understands that there is no dessert. Very strange. Several dishes were not cooked properly, often burned or fried dry. It takes quite a while before you get anything. The staff is also very friendly and there is plenty of choice. As a tip, I would add dessert and increase the price slightly.

The food just isn't it for me. If you order quail legs, it is a pity that there is so much bacon around them that the ratios are no longer correct. For the price where you get two hours and you feel like you have to continue eating and the desserts are not included, I unfortunately didn't think it was worth repeating. We were staying at Van der Valk hotel and decided to eat here. These are not Spanish tapas, but Dutch ones. Sorry, just not good. Price for a glass of wine is €5.50, which I think is pricey. Staff really super friendly, but the food is not good.

Had dinner with the four of us on Christmas Eve. We come to eat regularly, at least 4/5 times a year, and always with complete satisfaction and a pleasant atmosphere. As a company, you have made the choice to switch to ordering with QR code. I understand why, it is difficult to get staff and this certainly contributes to this unfortunate development. It does provide an impersonal approach and bond with your guests. Unfortunately for us, 7 hours in and the 1st round of tapas went well. It was tasty and on the table in reasonable time. Immediately ordered the 2nd round and unfortunately it was not yet on the table at 8:20 PM. I asked and it turned out that the order had been charged, but had not reached the kitchen. Then urgently ordered and received a 3rd round. After consultation we received a discount on the bill and desserts on the house. Great solution, but all in all it was a bad, unpleasant evening. You go out to dinner on Christmas Eve with certain expectations and that doesn't come close to being fulfilled. This was the last time for us and our group, despite the good solution, the impersonal approach is not the way we want to eat out and certainly not on Christmas Eve.

I was here a number of years ago, but unfortunately it is no longer the same as it was back then. The dishes have become quite simple. Are served in somewhat larger portions, so you don't get the real tapas effect. In the 2 hours we had we were eventually able to order 2 rounds.

Eating out with work, 1 person has a gluten allergy, no problem was the answer, but in the end after ordering she just had to wait half an hour for her food, I found out myself and it was arranged, 15 minutes later nothing, in the end she didn't want to order anymore because she felt like it was too much!! Very poor service, so we won't go there again.
