It's a nice place to walk into, with a great atmosphere. After ordering a large special fries and a special burger, I waited a while before receiving my order from the grumpiest waitress ever (I'm not easily scared). When my food arrived, I received a not-so-large special fries, just a special burger. This was a huge disappointment, especially with added disappointment. I'll never come back (even though nobody cares). Sincerely, I certainly won't.

I'm completely done with this snack bar, so I won't be going back. My previous order was really bad (cold, old fries, incredibly hard, and the order was incomplete). I called the snack bar and received a credit, which was handled perfectly. I ordered again today. They had a spring roll menu with a hot chicken roll. The spring roll was cold inside, and the fries were incredibly salty, as was the roll. Basically, zero stars. After two years, I see they've finally closed. It's about time. Hopefully, a better (it couldn't be worse) snack bar will take its place.

Arrived 10 minutes before closing time, only to be told by two employees that they were already closed. The next day I was able to get fries, which were almost cooked through but still brown from the rancid grease. Other Charly's in Apeldoorn aren't nearly as bad.

€26.95 for a curry salad, large fries with mayo and peanut curry, 1 spicy satay sauce, 1 "parrot war" (French fries), 1 "frikandel special" (a Dutch speciality frikandel), a coke, and apple juice... What a price for a cafeteria ⚠️ The apple juice was 5 months past its expiration date. Reported it, only to receive a refund... No thanks for reporting it to us... They looked behind the scenes, and everything was past its expiration date. The fries were undercooked!!! ⚠️ mushy, limp, soft, floury... The containers smoked like crazy when something was being fried. I'm not used to this from Busser. While we were eating, people returned soft serve ice cream; it tasted sour and spoiled. They're making quite a few mistakes here.

Not great food and way too expensive, please choose another snack bar

Used to be a lot for work but now it really has faded glory, old healthy sandwich without ham and cheese? Forgot, not even an apology and throws ham and cheese on it, sorry it was a leading business 5 years ago with many branches but you don't expect this

Drove by by chance one Saturday morning and saw the door open. I think hhhhmmm I fancy a hamburger sandwich. Bwèèèehhhh, I wish I hadn't done it. Sour, burnt onions, ketchup instead of curry and a grumpy lady. Such a pity.... I did not express my disappointment immediately after the meal, because the lady paid more attention to her cell phone instead of her customers.

Well, what can you say... Ordered a delicious yet (simple, perfect ratio of sauce, lettuce and onion) hamburger/beef sandwich👍 Only the terrace was full of weeds and dried food remains on the table outside. This is quite a shame in terms of atmosphere, but can easily be solved😉 P.s. someone else's comment about milkshake is correct, the soft ice cream also had a strange aftertaste

It was quiet but still had to wait 15 minutes for a single fries. Employee was busier with his own telephone. Few fries and tough. Way too much sauce.

Received sour milkshakes, kids and I were very shocked. When complaining about it, the response is quite laconic: 'yes, sorry, there's nothing I can do about it and the machine doesn't indicate that anything is wrong...' Frikadellen also tasted mwhaw/'old'. I'm concerned about how closely this Charly's adheres to shelf life/hygiene standards... I could drive back to get a refund, but that doesn't really help if we still get food poisoning from it. We'll see how things go in the coming hours.

Eating ice cream outside at dirty tables while staff are slumped next to the building working on their phones. As the owner, I would say first make sure everything is clean and guests are welcomed in a friendly manner and if you then hang outside, it is on your own time. Never this again

Too bad they close at 8pm in the evening.

Good food, quiet and not busy, they help your girlfriend, you can park in front of the door and it has a wheelchair-friendly entrance

Small Bistro with many typical Dutch food. Kaasouffle, Frikandel, Bitterballen etc. for good prices and with quite fast service. The Location is a little bit like a American Diner.

I ate there today and was disappointed by the price, I got a plain hamburger without anything on the side and a few more things I ate there and it was really disappointing. Too bad I ate it more often, it was longer ago now and it was different.

It is striking that the staff still works with long, painted nails. This is not done...! The risk of pieces of nail polish breaking off and ending up in your food is high. Enjoy your meal...! The owner should tighten the hygiene rules: short nails (not visible from the palm, as prescribed by the Dutch Commodities Act).

The fries could have been baked a little longer. Not to eat😏

Too bad they already say at 7.40 pm that the machines have been cleaned and that you can no longer get a milkshake, not good customer service!!

Food is always ready quickly and tastes good. A Charly as you know it. Calling in advance and picking up is also an option. The disadvantage is the quantity you get, just over half a container.

Good snack bar, fresh, polite staff. Nice stuff, only downside; just a bit too pricey for my liking. Furthermore, it is HIGHLY recommended.

You can come here for a quick bite. A very bad thing is that the staff (and therefore come into direct contact with food) have painted nails. Very unhygienic and not done according to the Commodities Act. You wouldn't want to think about finding a piece of nail polish in your food. And so... owner, do something about this!

Always good, friendly, fast-working staff

Well, if you ask for fries fried hard and you get those very light yellow, limp fries... And you ask for sauce separately with the hogweed and when you get home you can't see the hogweed because it is covered in a thick layer of sauce... I think then the customer's wishes are not important. Shame.

Very tasty and not full on Sunday lunchtime (February 17, 2019) when we visited Charly; not to say, we were the only guests and were therefore served very quickly. Friendly service. The food came very quickly. Parking spaces right in front of the door. Large menu with lots of delicious snack dishes that are not very expensive

Well, how bad, we just got a milkshake that was way out of date, yuck.!! Bad really really really bad.!! We asked for mango and strawberry but we got 2 blue cheese milkshakes

What an illegal snack bar! After waiting for more than 45 minutes, you think you can have a tasty snack, but you get dirty, fried, not fresh fries, so you reuse waste fries and a weak net of hot snacks! Charlie is not what he used to be.... Place motivated and qualified employees who have something to do with the catering industry

Not the way it used to be. There are always too few staff during rush hour.

Helpful Service, not overcrowded, fast delivery, beutiful prsonel.

Very friendly telephone assistance. We were able to place a large order for 15 people. with fifteen minutes pick up. If we got there early, it was already ready. Service was also friendly. Luckily the food was good too. Will go back next time.

I often get fries there, I have a gluten allergy and they have a wide choice of gluten-free snacks.

I am always served neatly. Because of my gluten allergy it is sometimes difficult to eat out, but a young man (brown hair) helped me very kindly and was able to explain it well to me. Great experience and delicious food!

Only 5 fries mayonnaise all together in a box all the plastic melted together I had to cut it loose everything was covered in mayonnaise!
