The whole ambulance was full of old junk. Food far below par in terms of taste and quality. Once is enough, never again.

Only got spring rolls and satay. Very tasty and friendly people.

Through Social Deal, we ended up at China Fantasy on Kruisweg in Hoofddorp. A restaurant that has been here for years, but where we had actually never been before. So, it was high time to change that! We opted for the unlimited Asian tapas, and what a fun and delicious introduction this was. 😋 You can order different small dishes, allowing you to taste a lot. And that is exactly what we did! We truly enjoyed every single dish. Everything was prepared with flavor, and precisely because the portions are small, you can try something different every time. This way, you also discover dishes that you might not normally order so quickly. The service also absolutely deserves a compliment. We were received very warmly and were helped in a friendly and hospitable manner throughout the entire evening. We were regularly asked if everything was to our liking and if we wanted to order anything else. That makes such an evening just that little bit more enjoyable. For us, this was exactly what Social Deal is so great for: getting to know a restaurant that you might otherwise keep passing by unnoticed. China Fantasy certainly surprised us positively, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended if you love Chinese cuisine and want to sample various dishes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good, authentic traditional Chinese food; the babi pangang bacon is out of this world!! Quietly enjoying some perfectly prepared dishes on a Sunday after 4:00 PM.

I have ordered here many times before and have always been satisfied. This time, however, the chicken satay and the babi pangang were both very greasy, the babi pangang was not crispy, and the spring rolls and pangsit were also soggy and cold. I spent a lot of money and am very disappointed.

Eating tapas/dim sum at a Chinese restaurant was new to us. Research has shown that we will be doing this more often. And specifically here at China Fantasy. Delicious food! Prepared so well and fresh. Vegetables crispy, meat just right. Beautiful shrimp, fried for exactly the right amount of time. Best foe yong hai ever!!! And many more delicious treats. Definitely go! The exterior needs some TLC, but inside everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and gives good advice.

Delicious meals and also an all-you-can-eat Chinese tapas menu, except on Sundays. Nice round tables with a rotating platform, but also regular tables. Takeaway and home delivery are also excellent. Dim Sum is also available.

Always had a delicious meal, definitely recommended!

It is a real shame that I have to share this, but I will never order food here again. The reason? There were bugs in our food. We called immediately and shared the photos via WhatsApp. However, the manager responded calmly and nonchalantly, saying that this was normal and likely came from mushroom remnants. The bugs and their legs are clearly visible in the photos. We politely asked for our money back, because this was obviously inedible. Instead, the lady offered us a voucher, but that is of no use to us. After an experience like this, we don't want to eat here at all anymore. In the end, we were left without food, even though my children and I were looking forward to it so much. A real disappointment. Nowadays, you have to give companies two stars so they can't remove your review. If only I could give it a 0.

As always, we had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. We had Dim Sum, a delicious variety of small dishes with the Babi Pangang being an absolute standout! It is revolutionary for this restaurant! Fantastic! The service was very accurate, fast, and friendly. We would love to be back soon!

We had a delicious rijsttafel (rice table), with lots of different snacks. We ate about half, but were politely asked if we wanted to take the rest home with us, which was very nice and put in small containers.

Inedible, incredibly cold, everything was greasy and tasteless. Not recommended!!!!!! The sesame balls tasted burnt from the inside, and the fries were limp and cold—absolutely unacceptable! Social Deal says they get a 9.7 here, which is truly unacceptable. They didn't listen to us when we told them it was cold. Absolutely unacceptable. The meat was also tasteless, fatty, and cold!! The same sauce with every dish was also tasteless. When we paid, we were approached by what we suspect was the owner of this tasteless shop. What a rude woman. We clearly stated that we really didn't like the food and were ignored. They told us we belong at McDonald's!! Even though we genuinely said we didn't like it. Unbelievably sad.

My family and I have been coming here for years, always to our complete satisfaction. We've celebrated so many special occasions and wonderful moments here. We recently had food delivered again, and it was delicious again! The staff is always extremely friendly, and the owner is exceptionally welcoming and a great endorsement for the restaurant :) The aquarium in the back is also very entertaining for the kids. We're so happy with this restaurant; we hope to be able to enjoy the beautiful China Fantasy (in its charming atmosphere) well into our old age!

Christmas at the Chinese Restaurant You walk in and think: this isn't a restaurant, this is a truck stop that's dressed up as a Chinese restaurant for Christmas. A single string of lamps, sparsely hung, as if it were there reluctantly. On the table, vases of plastic flowers that were once pink, but now the color of fatigue. Christmas begins here with a compromise. The starter is served by a friendly young man who clearly isn't responsible for the kitchen. A characterless lump of dim sum, which looks as if it already knew it was going to be eaten without being remembered. The spring roll, on the other hand: surprisingly okay. A spicy sauce salvages the evening for a while. Like a Christmas song on the radio can sometimes suddenly calm you down. There are twenty minutes between the starter and the main course. Plenty of time to look. And smell. Formica tables with wood prints—atmospheric in the sense that they've been around for ages. They match wonderfully with the 1980s carpet, presumably installed during the last renovation. That carpet tells a story. From three generations of soy sauce, Haarlemmermeer sludge, and flattened heaps. A little soap wouldn't have been out of place here. Or a fire. Then the main course. Rack of lamb in teriyaki sauce and chicken in pickle. More than enough, they say. The rack of lamb, however, looks like it came from the black sheep of the stable. Or from a stable fire. I'm thinking of a cremation. Here and there, well-done meat with a charred edge. After the wait, I decide not to say anything. Some fights are won by not feeding them. As an extra, a side dish: a bowl of noodles. Four euros. There must have been beluga caviar in it, considering the price. The vegetable accompaniment is a minor tragedy: four strands of iceberg lettuce. Fortunately, they weren't charged separately. That saves. We skipped dessert—a small ice floe with canned fruit—after a 35-minute wait. Waiting is also a choice. This time we chose to go home. We were greeted kindly upon departure. That's true. Paid 115 euros. Outside, in the cold, I thought: we should have sat down with Jesus in the stable. More warmth. And probably better lamb.

We (two people) had a special Christmas menu on Boxing Day—it was a huge disappointment considering the small portion of Babi Pangang and shrimp we received. We paid €116 in total! We didn't even get an extra drink or anything on the house after dinner! N.B. We've been customers for years! It's our last time!

Christmas Day for two. The restaurant was very dated; they hadn't invested in any decor in a long time; the carpet was very dirty; the window seat was very cold. The dim sum appetizer was good. However, it was decorated with a plastic flower... 1960s... The main course, chicken and sweet and sour sauce, was good. The nasi was sticky rice with a few vegetables here and there. Dessert never arrived. It was just a bowl of ice cream and a glass of fruit. So we left without dessert or coffee. The hostess apologized: it was busy. By that point, many people had already finished eating and left. An expensive 112 euros for this "Christmas menu." Not worth repeating...

We had dinner here with our business associate (William). The welcome was warm and welcoming. The service was very pleasant. The 5-course menu was delicious, and each dish had beautiful, unique flowers on the plate as decoration, creating a festive atmosphere.

We always go to China Fantasy for Chinese takeout. Three large spring rolls and mini spring rolls. What happened to them? Where did the delicious small spring rolls go? The fat wasn't warm, so not tasty. €31 straight in the trash. A total of €76 was spent. It was worthless.

On a Sunday evening, without a reservation, we were still able to join the restaurant. It is nicely decorated in a Chinese atmosphere and also well maintained. The food is delicious and prepared with care. The staff is friendly and fast. No negative points for this excellent restaurant.

How bad, how bad!! Just had food delivered for 3.25 euros!! You must order for 29.60 euros otherwise it will not be delivered!! Food arrived late and cold. The mini spring rolls were tough and cold. If you order food for 29.60 euros, you really don't get much for that money. Not even a piece of prawn crackers!! Never order from this Chinese again!!

Schandalig slecht eten. Twee verschillende maaltijden opgehaald die pittig zouden moeten zijn. De basis is zoete tomatensoep en worden gevuld met gekookt vlees.

Na jaren weer eens online besteld Kip met kerriesaus en nasi Hoop kip met groenten maar de kerriesaus minimaal ofwel praktisch geen. Vroeger had je echt kip in een kerriesaus. Voor mij geen China Fantasy jammer

I picked up food. So I can't really judge the atmosphere. Food was very tasty, not much and a bit pricey. Especially compared to where I normally go in The Hague. Here a 2, combination dish was a lot more expensive, € 26.50 where I buy chan Man, I buy a 3 combination dish for 20 € and then.with two large bowls of nasi. Here one smaller one and the second had to be paid extra. The dishes were also clearly smaller. But... good quality!

We went back to the restaurant full of expectations where we had a very good meal. But the last time on Sunday, September 22, we were not at all satisfied. Online besteld, 1,5 uur gewacht en toen......was het niet te eten! Nasi komt rechtstreeks uit de fabriek, alles smaakt naar niks en dan blijf ik netjes. We hadden een rijsttafel voor 2 personen, binnen 10 minuten alles weggegooid, 63 euro lichter, nooit meer!

The food here has gotten bad. I thought the last time might have been bad luck, but unfortunately it happened again. Tofu not fresh and tastes like the one from the supermarket. Siu Yuk is not crispy but chewy and limp due to closed container and bean sprouts and tasteless. Chinese noodles are absolutely worth crying over. I really don't understand why there are people who gave this tent 5 stars and are certainly not used to anything else. NEVER AGAIN!

Delivery time would be approximately 45 minutes. After almost an hour we received the message that the food would almost be there. After seeing this message for 20 minutes, I called and it turned out that the order had not even been prepared!!! Staff on the phone indifferent and unwilling to think along. Do not order!!!

Tonight I ordered four chicken spring rolls from China Fantasy in the takeaway section of the store. After waiting 35 minutes I was told that they had run out of spring rolls. That could have been done a little earlier. Like going to another Chinese restaurant and being outside with fresh spring rolls within 15 minutes.

Sinds jaren weer eens gegeten in deze bekende tent in Hoofddorp, eten was oké…echter uitermate ontstemd over de rekening… bij 2 gerechten zowel de witte rijst als de mihoen apart berekenen t.w. €6.50!!!! ernaast voor een kan kraanwater €3.50, rekenen kan echt niet, tevens bij meenemen per plastic bakje, 3 stuks, €1.50 berekenen, (sic) en als toetje nog eens €0.10 voor het plastic tasje..ik zou willen meegeven, prima als je verdienen wil en voor je gerechten een serieuze prijs vraagt, kan ik goed mee leven…alles wat onder verdere gastvrijheid etc valt is niet te rijmen en geeft deze avond toch wel een mindere “nasmaak”

I have eaten in this well-known place in Hoofddorp for years now, the food was okay...however, I was extremely displeased with the bill... for 2 dishes, we had to calculate both the white rice and the noodles separately. €6.50!!!! next to it for a jug of tap water €3.50, calculation is really not possible, also if you take 3 pieces in a plastic container, calculate €1.50, (sic) and for dessert another €0.10 for the plastic bag... I would like to give that, fine if you want to earn and ask a serious price for your dishes, I can live with that... everything that falls under further hospitality etc. cannot be reconciled and gives this evening a lesser "aftertaste"

Our favorite Chinese was close so we ordered from ChinaFantasy. Babi Pangang was fine, but Daging Seraki Pedis was full of tough chunks of beef and the Tsi Chiu Kei was supposed to contain chicken fillet, but those were strange cubes of pressed chicken. Nasi was almost not filled (3 pieces of leek and a little egg). Spent more than €140, but a small extra like a portion of prawn crackers was not included... Next time back to the competitor. PS delivery was on time.

Guests who arrived later than us were helped through the evening faster than we were. Goed restaurant met aardig personeel

Food was delicious and tasty. We turned up out of the blue as a tour group of 20ish. The lady served us took control to ensure our orders were taken.

Altijd lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening .

Met een groep hier gegeten. Bij binnenkomst door de achter ingang hing er een penetrante rioollucht. Deze kwam uit de toiletgroep en was ook te ruiken voor in het restaurant. Beetje vergane glorie. Eten erg oppervlakkig van smaak. Zeker geen bijzondere Chinese keuken. Prijzen op de menukaart op de website kloppen niet. In december 2022 waren de prijzen hoger. Positief was het kunnen zitten met een groep aan een ronde tafel. Maar verder in het restaurant weinig eters. Geen aanrader ook al niet vanwege de stank die door het hele land hangt.

Ze zijn wel vriendelijk integenstelling bij de andere chinees bij Toolenburg. Ik ben hier 3x geweest uit nood. Maar nooit meer. Een simpele bak nasi met vlees was veel te duur en bakje nasi alwas echt klein. Ik kom hier nooit meer.

Het rundvlees wat in de bezorgde rijsttafel zat, rook bedorven en smaakte vreemd. Tijdens telefonisch contact wilde ze hier niets mee doen omdat volgens de kok het vlees goed was. We kregen ook geen andere rijsttafel. Toen ik later het bewuste bakje rundvlees langs bracht, vertelde ze dat het vlees urenlang opgestaan had en daardoor niet bedorven kon zijn. Later zei ze dat ze eenmaal per week vlees kocht. De andere geur en smaak zou komen door de kruiden. Ik kreeg ook te horen dat klanten haar vaak belazerde en dat klanten tegen haar logen. Toch een bijzondere manier van klachten behandelen

Het wordt steeds minder voor meer geld. Bezorgkosten zijn vrij hoog. Fooi geven we dus niet meer. Het staat helaas niet helemaal meer in verhouding met hetgeen je krijgt. Een bak bami / nasi hoeft echt niet de zo duur te zijn. Daarnaast vragen wij altijd om bepaalde ingrediënten niet te verwerken in de gerechten. Helaas gebeurt dat steeds vaker niet dan wel. Jammer.

Zeer gemoedelijke restaurant, authentieke sfeer als je binnen komt lekker knus maar zeer vriendelijke personeel dat hard werkt en de klant zich thuis laat voelen. Wij hebben de onbeperkt "all u can eat dim-sum" dinner genomen voor 2 uur. Zij werken nog met het oude systeem, geen tablet hi tech technische gedoe, heerlijk ouderwets menu kaart met plaatjes en beschrijving erin, daarnaast je rondes turfen met pen op de ouderwetse manier. Dim-sum keuze is niet heel uitgebreid, maar genoeg om de 5 rondes door te komen. Elke ronde is 3 items per keer per persoon. (uitzondering kan gemaakt worden) Heeelijke dim-sum gerechten op de kaart, helaas geen sushi (het is ook geen Japans restaurant). Buiten de Dim-Sum om kun je ook gewoon normaal ouderwets Chinees eten. Combineren is niet mogelijk, dus dim summen en dineren kan dus niet het is of/of.. (dim-sum/diner). Trouwens de aankleding in het restaurant is zeer rustgevend, toiletten zijn schoon en fris. Niet al te druk in het restaurant reserveren is wel. Aan te raden. Vaccinatie plicht word niet gevraagd. (hoef geen QR-code te laten zien). Parkeren kan voor de deur van het restaurant, maar is zeer beperkt. Mede door dat er ook een, Pools, Russische en Roemeens supermarkt naast restaurant China Fantasy aan zit. Helaas geen 5 ster, omdat het er weinig aan keuze aanbod is voor het dim-sum. De porties zijn redelijk voor sommige items iets minder. Wel heerlijk gegeten!! 😋

Zeer schone eetomgeving, het eten smaakt heerlijk. Groenten zijn er in overvloed. Een goede eetervaring. Zal de volgende keer weer komen.
