Gardenia Chinees Specialiteiten Restaurant V.O.F. in Zwanenburg

I come here every year in May and get the delicious food several times, and the owners are incredibly friendly every time.

The owners are super friendly people. I always get good service because I always forget which dish I want. The restaurant looks very nice and they are also super fast with the food.

Warning: First of all, the in-house menu is extremely expensive, €10 more per dish than the takeout menu. And what's more, we only ordered one portion of fried rice, while a small portion costs €21. This is a complete rip-off. Never again.

Nice restaurant. Good atmosphere. Friendly people. Food is good. Would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Super tasty food, lovely people, well taken care of

5vStars are not enough. Best realistisch Chinese Food Store in NL. I like the way you can eat - dich by dich. Thy a lot

I ate there, quiet atmosphere and delicious food.

Extremely delicious authentic Chinese dishes, authentic cuisine, and friendly service round out the experience. Even though the food is a bit more expensive, the portion sizes are very generous and wholesome. A 100% recommendation.

Delicious food, quickly prepared, large portions, and of course, prawn crackers and sambal. Highly recommended!

Delicious food and excellent service.

My goodness, the food here is so good! We'll definitely drive from Limburg again; the people are super friendly too. Thanks for the fantastic food❤️

The food was delicious. Large restaurant. On Sunday evening we were the only ones there.

The food was delicious, but not everything is on the menu. Service was very attentive and polite. Atmosphere was neat, but lacked some Chinese flair. I have to say that the prices are quite high.

Top! Delicious food, great service. Authentic flavours!

Happy Chinese! Our Chinese takeaway for years

Food was very tasty! The portions were also sufficient and the service was very friendly!

Nothing to complain about here, I recently got a Chinese rice table here that I ate for days to come. Delicious, with sambal!

Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant. Very nice service.

Ordered Chinese noodles at the rice table for 4 people. The quantity was so small that we ordered more. Unfortunately, that was not possible or we had to wait a very long time as it was busy with collectors. Food was reasonable, there was no atmosphere due to the people coming in and out. Collectors are given priority over table guests. Service is substandard, but that is partly due to a lack of staff. Advice..... order for takeaway and enjoy a meal at home.

Lekker gegeten, verrassend druk!

Nice food, Good service, quiet perfect place for dinner

Never ate here but the take-away is excellent.

Gezellige gastvrouw.

Leuke tent , personeel is best vriendelijk

Very good! We had the chicken in a black bean sauce and it was amazing!

Super lekker gegeten en gezellig en vriendelijk personeel

Nice food and excellent service.

Goed restaurant en heerlijk eten, vriendelijke bediening! Top restaurant

For the past few years, I've always enjoyed dining at this restaurant during my annual visits to the Netherlands. For me, the highlight(s) of the menu are the lumpia, babi panggang and chop suey. The menu is broad and the staff that run the restaurant treat you like family. However, sadly, the quality of the food has slightly 'downgraded' from my past experiences. The food no longer has that 'zing' to it and is seems that the food no longer has that home cook feel to it. Quite disappointing.

Heerlijk gegeten, prima bediening

If you are looking for authentic Chinese cooking in a classy restaurant with reasonable prices then you must go to Gardenia. The food and service were excellent and the owners of this restaurant have gone all out in creating a wonderful dining atmosphere. This is the perfect place to take your spouse, partner, and/or friends for an exceptional meal or meet them here for a drink. We had soup, lamb, and a vegetable dish and all were delicious! We were in this town just for two days but if we lived in the area we would definitely be regulars. If you are in Amsterdam this restaurant is just a ten minute train ride and a pleasant 15 minute walk from the train station.
