Very yummy food!!! Fast service. Everything was really wonderful 😁😁😁 But the food is quite spicy. Even If its Just one Chili.

Superb culinary experience. I highly recommend it: I have never eaten such good crispy pork or such a delicious lamb recipe.

Food is super authentic! It has the most authentic dishes for sharing (And portion is big!), you can also order 1 person set, 2 pax set, 4 pax set etc. Highly recommend if you want to have a really nice Chinese food! Whats even better, the price is very reasonable ☺😇. I'll definately come back again if i visit Amsterdan again

Huh. Go figure. In the heart of Amsterdam there's a legit Sichuan place. I ordered my usual "ants climbing tree" and it was perfect. They used the thinner glass vermicelli but the wok-hei was phenomenal.

Every time I travel to Europe, I always crave Chinese food. Chengdu, Sichuan, is a great place, and their spicy chicken is very authentic and satisfies my appetite. I went there for two consecutive days. The service staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. First and foremost, the food was not very tasty because it was extremely spicy. While the food was good, it was way too spicy for my taste. The workers were friendly and helpful, but they should have informed us about the menu more thoroughly. For instance, when I ordered two bowls of rice, they put them into one bowl. The place was nice, but the food was the main issue. The sweet and sour duck was delicious, but the other dishes, like the Mongolian beef, were more chili peppers and onions than beef, which was too crunchy and not as flavorful.

The ambience and service was good, but the food was not fresh. We ordered spareribs and mangolean beef with pork fried rice. The spare ribs felt like the meat was not fresh enough, and the dried chillies that were there in both the dishes tasted old. The rice was fairly fine but not served hot. We spend almost 80 euros for all of this. Really disappointing 👎🏼

This is an incredibly delicious Chinese restaurant. The flavors are authentically Chinese and rich. I ate there two days in a row and tried three different dishes, and all three were delicious. Highly recommend!

Shows open until 12 at night on Google map, but when entered at about ten and a half pm, clerk claimed that it’s off already. If not gonna receive customer that late, change your info, shame on this restaurant.

Having tried many Chinese restaurants, this one really stands out for its intense level of spiciness, easily the spiciest I’ve experienced Be prepared, it can leave your tongue numb, portions are very generous, and while prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality and experience justify it. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance with distinctive Asian decor. Clean facilities (including the restroom), friendly staff, and a nice touch with complimentary candy after the meal, which is surprisingly helpful. Highly recommended, especially for spice lovers.

The food was great. Luckily, the menu had pictures. However, given the selection, it could also be overwhelming. The entrance door doesn't close properly – there can be a draft when you're sitting there.

Pre-cooked food, it has absolutely no meaty texture. I don't recommend it; it's manufactured meat and doesn't taste good at all. Avoid this place as it's also a bit pricey.

The food was good, not amazing. The meat dish was served 10 .minutes before we received the rice, so it was getting cold. The sweet and sour chicken dish was very good. The service was not great, impatient waitresses and cramped seating area.

A True Hidden Gem in Amsterdam Chinatown If you are looking for authentic, bold flavors in Amsterdam, China Sichuan is an absolute must. We loved this place so much that we visited twice in four nights—and it still wasn’t enough! Every dish we tried was incredible, but a few standouts are non-negotiable: Fried Rice: Honestly divine. It’s the perfect foundation for the meal. Kung Pao Chicken: Perfectly balanced with that signature Sichuan peppercorn kick. Beef Jerky: A unique and flavorful highlight—highly recommended if you want something with a bit of texture and deep spice. The restaurant is cozy (small and always bustling), which usually means a long wait. However, the service was impeccable. The staff did everything humanly possible to seat us both times, making us feel genuinely welcome despite the rush.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. We ordered xiao long bao, kung pao eggplant, rice, and Peking duck (delicious!). Friendly and professional service and a great location. Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant twice a day, for both lunch and dinner. Crave spicy food during our 30-day frozen Europe trip, and this restaurant is definitely the answer to everything! Remember to order the garlic pork belly, spicy chicken, a bowl of white dishes, and beer—so refreshing! P.S. It could be spicier, even more flavorful! 🤗

A very nice place with friendly service and quite good food. I expected it to be spicy, as it's Sichuan, but it was medium spicy. The portions were quite generous, although the soup, for 8 euros, could have been larger and spicier. Despite all this, the place is worth recommending.

Every dish tasted unique unlike the 'europeanized' Asian food that most places serve.

Excellent food, a variety of Chinese Sichuan and Tibettan dishes, all well prepared. Many of the dishes are spicy. The set menus provide good value. Good variety of vegetarian dishes, and a vegetarian menu where you can choose of any of the vegetarian dishes. Among my favourites are omelette soup, veggie hotpot (🌶️🔥), palace green beans, and kung pao eggplant. Careful, they don’t do take-out when it is busy, call in advance

We first noticed the beautiful Tibetan Thangka decoration while strolling in the evening, and decided to come back the next afternoon after finding the place on Google Maps. We had such a lovely lunch here ❤️! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. If you love Asian food and enjoy a good spicy kick 🌶️, this is definitely a must-visit. We had dinner in this restaurant. The food ordered is full of flavours and so authentic from its origin, not to mention the lovely service we got.

There are three Sichuan restaurants nearby. I chose one of them and ordered pepper chicken, fish-flavored eggplant, and pepper chicken. The taste was very authentic. The service attitude of the male waiter was indeed a bit unfriendly. I may not come back again.

Honestly horrible experience. The dishes were all very overpriced. Average 20€ to 30€ for a dish and half of the dish is dried chili, chili and onions etc. the sour spicy beef soup tastes very weird and chemical. I hope we won't have food intoxication after this. The 2 servings of rice is more like 1. The biggest joke is the service : they just drop the dishes on your desk and walk away without saying anything, when I asked for tap water the waitress actually replied that they didn't have any. 🤣 It's not authentic at all, please don't have high expectations of it. Total tourist trap.

Mapu tofu priced around 22 euros is a joke and a half.. Its extreme prices for Amsterdam I understand, but its small portions as well. Ordered three dishes, majority of them were peppers and onions, 30% of the dish was actuall edible foods.

Very ruud and bad chinese man ever at amsterdam. Scammer chinese restaurant, in menu tab heineken beer but he will give you in tin which normally below 2 euro in supermarket. Even juice in small bottle will charging you very expensive. I try asking why not in tab beer? He not happy and agressive to force you to drink and pay. Dutch authority should keep in eyes to this restaurant and making more checking...

We were given 3 novels they called ‘menus’ for a table of eight, all of which were very difficult to navigate. The pictures of the food is probably bigger than the real portion you actually get. The service was poor. It took a long time for the waiter to come to our table to ask us what we wanted to eat, and didn’t seem bothered when we called one of them over. The food was wayyy too expensive for what it was. I could have went to a chinese takeaway and gotten it for half the price, but regardless the food wasn’t even that great, lacked flavour. 9.5€ for 6 tiny spring rolls…? The food came and it was nothing like the picture, we thought we had gotten the wrong order. We were seated at a table with a bright white light shining into our faces, it strained my eyes and totally ruined the atmosphere of the place.

Fourth time at this wonderful little restaurant. Lovely decor, lots of Asian guests, and honest advice about the dishes. I feel like I'm back in China; what wonderfully intense flavors. The lamb is wonderfully tender and deliciously seasoned. I'll definitely be back. Tip: ask for more information about the dishes on the menu!

THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER Allergy information is a joke - at least for the staff in this restaurant. In theory, the menu contains information about allergens, but it turns out that this information is incorrect - and according to the staff, it is the customer's fault if they trust it. I have a severe allergy to gluten and dairy products, so I was pleased to see allergen information on the menu. Unfortunately, after eating one of the dishes, I started to feel unwell and asked the staff if the dish was definitely wheat-free. It turned out that the dish contained large amounts of wheat and the information on the menu was false - and the staff knew this very well. The staff asked me if I had an allergy, which I've confirmed - but they weren’t bothered by my answer. And according to the waitress, it was my own fault because I assumed that what was on the menu was correct. The whole situation is absurd, and the attitude towards the customer is shocking and unacceptable. Especially since this is directly misleading to the customer. Allergies are a serious matter. Someone could end up in hospital - but clearly it's not a serious matter for the staff at this restaurant, since they are blatantly lying about it on the menu and just don't care at all. As a result, I paid for the dish, after which I got a fever, felt terrible the next day, and still - two days later - have not recovered. I have eaten at many restaurants around the world and have never before experienced such a dismissive attitude. I will never go back there again.

The food was genuinely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The prices on the menu seemed reasonable, and overall we enjoyed the taste and atmosphere. However, I had a disappointing experience when it came to the bill. I ordered the “menu for two” listed at around €35. When the bill came, I was charged €82. I asked the waiter why, and he replied quite bluntly: “No, you pay x2 because two people were eating.” When I pointed out that the menu clearly said “for two – €35”, he simply said: “Yes, but you ate as two people.” And when I said, “I thought €35 was already for both,” his response was: “No, that’s not possible.” Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but it felt like important information was intentionally not mentioned upfront. If the listed price isn’t actually for two people, it should be made very clear when ordering. Instead of paying around €37, I ended up with a bill for €82

It was a heaven for spicy food lovers. I’ve tried maoxuewang, xiaolongbao, cold vermicelli, mouth-watering chicken, the portions were generous. Very satisfying dinner😋

Most recommended Tibetan and Chinese restaurants in the heart of Amsterdam, foods are very delicious and traditional, it’s located just few blocks away from the very famous museum (Wax Museum) Madame Tussauds in the Centraal Station of Amsterdam! Very disappointing dining experience. The food tasted very average and not worth the price. The menu clearly stated that there was an aperitif, but the waiter said there was no aperitif, which felt like a perfunctory experience. I wanted to take away the food I couldn't finish, but they only gave us two lunch boxes and told us to "figure out the rest ourselves". The overall service attitude was also very unprofessional. I don't recommend this place at all. I won't come again.

The food there was really, really good! I had the Mandarin duck – which was breaded and served with a sweet sauce – but it stayed crispy for a long time! I actually wanted to order it spicier, but the waiter advised me against it, as it would have ruined the authenticity of the dish and the sweetness that the dish stands for. I think it's very good! So I ate it "normally." Very, very tasty! Definitely recommended! However, the prices are too high.

We had the chrispy duck 🦆 , kung pow chicken and chicken noodles 🐔🍜 and it was delicious! Recommend if you are looking for tasty authentic food in a great atmosphere! The service was good amd my daughter was really happy with them.

Surprisingly, this Chinese restaurant is very authentic in old town Amsterdam. The decoration is very Chinese as well. The spiciness and ingredients are very tasty and good. Overall, we had a good experience.

The Asian-faced male waiter downstairs in this branch looks as if he owes him money and has a very bad attitude. The boss should replace him as soon as possible. Keeping him will definitely affect the business of this store. I walked more than 100 meters to another branch. The waiters were much better and the food was absolutely outstanding.
