Friendly service, large food menu, tasty food in a cozy atmosphere

Food is good. Only I find it a shame when you order something and there is a time that you can pick it up. That you can pick it up or at least within 15 minutes that you can take it with you. Unfortunately this is often not the case. The last time I had to wait 45 minutes. And even saw some people who came in later get their food earlier to take away. I find this very unfortunate. Again the food is good.

Tong Ah is only a take away. The restaurant part has been given a different concept and is now called Nola. The food taken away (Chinese-Indian) was fine, as usual. While waiting for the order I saw the Sushi chef at work. Neatly with gloves on. But unfortunately, with those gloves he also touched the dishcloth, the cupboard doors, a gas burner, his clothes and you name it what was near him. Luckily I'm not a Sushi lover........

What a beautiful restaurant located in Weesp. Modern Chinese cuisine served with style and love. The high level of service is remarkable because we also wanted to eat traditional meals and there was room for that. Thanks to a particularly empathetic employee Clint who made this possible especially for us. All praise for the service and quality of the Chinese food..... Highly recommended! Useless if you order a 3 person rice table and a 2 person rice table 1 without pig 1 with pig they mix the whole mess together and when you call them for an explanation they hang up in your face! What a disrespectful company And no receipt, nothing!

Dinner on site with Nola's new concept. Fantastic, what a surprise. Really delicious food, original surprising Asian cuisine in a very relaxed cozy setting. Nice round seating areas, good wine. Had a great evening with friends. Recommended.

Once again good old-fashioned good food and hot at the right temperature when you pick it up. It has even become a bit spicier, I like that spicy sauce. The teppans dishes are well filled with meat and vegetables. Satay sticks should actually be grilled/baked, is now overcooked, but nice and soft.

Worthless place, for the first time in years my girlfriend ordered 3 dishes. Sour employee keeps insisting on chicken satay which we don't eat. After indicating several times not to eat this, there is a charge on the cash register. When she picks up food, she accepts a bag of food and is normally called back to receive the chicken satay. When we got home it turned out that we had received half a bowl per dish. In retrospect it was fortunate because the dishes had no taste and the meat was tough. Jumbo Weesp was closed so we tried it here again. But never again

2 people ordered a takeaway menu. Only indicated to leave out the satay as we did not like it. I asked if a piece of prawn crackers was possible, but that was not possible, but I had to pay the full amount without the satay. A bit bland and not service oriented...

After quite a long time, I picked it up again at Tong Ah because I was alone at home. First checked opening hours and saw in a few reviews on the site that "all you can eat" is now also offered, but I stuck to my plan: combination dish 53 with noodles and a portion of prawn crackers. Price still the same as a few years ago (compared to many other catering establishments!) I saw after comparing it with the menu from the drawer at home. Food ready quickly, still fine, and still warm after 10 minutes in the car on the way home. More than enough for 2 days. Very satisfied! At Tong Ah I have always stuck to old-fashioned "Chinese" so I don't know any details about other dishes. No personal experience with wheelchair accessibility, but it looks good (front door on the ground floor for dining on site, ramp at the rear to the take-away counter). Never had a problem with parking. All in all: great business!!

Sensational food and perfect service

I hadn't been to Tong A in Weesp for a long time. The 'All You Can Eat' concept has also been introduced here. Inquiries show that the old classic 'A la Carte' menu still exists, although the number of dishes to be ordered is a lot smaller. No App or Tablet at the table here, but you order by checking dishes on a strip of paper. Not very convenient and it distracts from the conversations at the table... Friendly, attentive and fast service is a plus. The food was delicious and a lot of attention was paid to presentation and quality. The interior of the restaurant has not changed much in recent years. Dark and many shades of brown, but cozy.

We ordered food and picked it up. How disappointing that was! The babi pangang was bone dry and impossible to remove. So unfortunately it ended up in the trash. Fortunately the nasi was okay, but I don't think it can go wrong either. This was a last ditch attempt to order food as last time the food was also bad. That's why I recommend not ordering, because the food is of a completely different quality than what you get in the restaurant.

Unfortunately, gluten-free food, as agreed in advance, turned out not to be gluten-free, resulting in someone being ill for 3 to 4 days due to the gluten in the food.

I often order tjaptjoi because the other dishes contain virtually no vegetables. That's fine. Ordered a spring roll yesterday, which unfortunately was fried in frying oil that should have been replaced long ago. Outside tasted like burning and was very dark due to the oil with carbon mix. When I pick up an order, I never get prawn crackers, not even with a large order, while I see that others often get them for free. Too bad, but okay.

Nice atmosphere and nice staff. The food was unfortunately mediocre, but nice tapas-like dishes. There was a huge variety of food, from many different countries. So be careful when ordering, because something Indonesian doesn't mix well with sushi.

We, three adults, went for Sunday dinner. Good parts: - Dishes were okay. - The service provided by the young staff was pleasant. Areas for improvement: - The timing of dish servings was uncoordinated; for example, I received my meat, but the noodles arrived 20 minutes later. - There were excessively long wait times for dishes, with some taking up to 40 minutes to be served. - After waiting for 50 minutes, we decided to cancel one dish that had not yet been delivered. - Unfortunately, despite the cancellation, we were still billed for the dish.

As a Chinese I am happy to say that the quality of the food is outstanding and the service is one of the best I have encountered in any restaurant in/near the capital. Dining here is a lot of fun too: you choose small different dishes shown in the menu (with photos) and you can order several rounds! Highly recommended!!

I order nasi babi pangan foe yong hai but get noodles and very nasty fried balls. It's impossible to eat satay, it's so soggy. the spring roll was tasty, that's for sure. But all in all not recommended.

It was delicious food. We didn't get everything we ordered, but that doesn't matter, you can simply order again. With the fanta we always had to ask for a glass while with the other drinks we always got a glass. And I thought it was fine, but we were rarely asked if we wanted any drinks or if everything was okay.

The food is good, but I think it is quite pricey for what you get. Ordered 2x tenderloin tepanyaki today (there was 1 container in the bag, when I asked, I was told that there were 2 pots of €7.00 in it). When the container was opened, there were 11 cubes of tenderloin in it. This equates to €1.27 per block (the size of a die). The taste is fine, but I don't think I will order from here again.

Was fine several times. Been again for a long time, but unfortunately. Food has become average and it was ice cold in the restaurant. Attempts were made to take action but without result and without excuse or compensation :-(.

A disappointment, usually it is decent but this time really substandard, loveless food. Nothing was good, at best something was quite fine, the rest was all unsatisfactory. Badly rolled sushi, not ok. Crispy wasn't crispy. Shrimp not good. Cheap unfilled noodles. It's off our list of options, but not for the time being

I bought food there. The taste was mediocre. There was almost no difference between the vegetarian and the regular spring roll. The chicken pieces were difficult to find. The stew was not simmered long enough. All in all, I thought it was quite expensive and the quality was mediocre.

Had a delicious meal at Tong Ah, normally we order for a birthday party this time, the buffet was simply delicious! Tasty and really super fresh. Starter was actually ordinary, nothing special but also tasty.Drank wine (chardonnay) and that was also tasty.

Super goed restaurant met het share diner principe

Fijn restaurant, goed eten, royale porties en goed van smaak. Het enige min puntje is door de drukte zit tussen de gangen teveel tijd. Dit is misschien doordat het restaurant vol zat en heel veel afhaal was, en de keuken dat niet helemaal kan bijbenen.

Voor grote groep eten besteld. Was op tijd klaar. Kleine klacht. Er was 1 vegetarische maaltijd bij maar daarbij was geen witte rijst gegeven, enkel en alleen nasi en daar zat overal vlees in. Beetje jammer. Rest was goed, lekker gegeten.

Eten was prima Rekening goed nakijken . Wij hadden div drankjes van een andere tafel op de rekening staan Die niet zijn gecorrigeerd

Het eten was goed en lekker. Tevens was de bediening gastvrij en behulpzaam. Hier komen we weer eens terug.

Chinees restaurant. Ze hebben een aantal rondes concept. Alleen wij wilden chinees eten gelukkig hadden ze daar ook een menu kaart voor. Maar mijn voorkeur de volgende keer zal zijn om het eten af te halen. Service was triest, paar keer moeten vragen waar mijn extra bestelling bleef, blijkbaar vergeten terwijl ze drie tafels bezet hadden.

The food has quality, we liked the dining ambiance. The buffet menu sheet was sort of multiple choice page which had to be learned for the first time.

Erg lekker eten maar een ontzettende slome service. Ze vergeten sommige rondes te serveren, vragen niet of je nog wat wilt drinken etc etc. Na 1,5 uur ronde 4 pas gekregen terwijl ronde 3 nooit is geserveerd. En dat terwijl je maar 2 gerechtjes per ronde kan bestellen.

We hebben hier met vier volwassenen en twee kinderen gegeten. Je kunt per persoon maximaal vijf keer twee gerechten bestellen maar daar zijn we niet aan toe gekomen. Na drie keer bestellen waren we voldaan. Lekker gegeten..

Sushi gegeten kwaliteit was goed maar we hebben erg lang moeten wachten tussen de rondes. Dus dit was de laatste keer voor ons

Geweldig gegeten het personeel was top en de sfeer heel goed.

M'n dochter is dol op het onbeperkt-eten-concept hier. De keuken biedt gerechtjes uit verschillende aziatische landen. Je bestelt ze in rondes van maximaal 2 gerechtjes per persoon. Allemaal lekker, maar wij blijven het meeste bestellen van de sushi, koude en warme voorgerechten en mini porties salade. Enige nadelen hier: geen terras, en binnen wordt het in de zomer erg warm. Het personeel is erg aardig en de gerechtjes volgen elkaar in een goed tempo op. De soft drinks komen in van die kleine 200 ml flesjes en de prijzen ervan zijn relatief hoog. Ik ben zelf altijd der thee, die komt in een leuk potje en je kunt er met zijn tweeën van genieten.

Wat is er gebeurd? Het eten is een stuk minder sinds kort. Het vlees is taai en de bami smaakt naar oud vet.

Snelle bediening en alles wordt vers gemaakt.

Ik kan mij niet herinneren dat dit niet bestond, soort van begrip in de buurt. Ik heb afgehaald en wat gedronken tijdens het wachten onlangs... meestal prima eten, leuke mensen en mooie locatie.

Het eten werd bij ons erg sloom geserveerd. We waren aan het eten op een donderdag avond. Met 2 personen €95 afgerekend en het enige drinken waren 2 spa blauw. -te hoge prijzen - te lange wachttijd De prijs is €37,50 per persoon en je mag 5 rondes eten, waarvan je 2 hapjes met ronde mag en kraanwater wordt niet geschonken. Een fles water kost €7,50, dit heb ik voor zo ver ik me kan herinneren nog nooit meegemaakt, geen kraanwater en een fles water van €7,50. Service ontbreekt hier door degene die de prijzen bepaalt. Ik ben gewend om 5 hapjes aan te kruizen en dit 5 rondes voor een goedkopere prijs dan €37,50 per persoon. Na onze 3e ronde zaten we 2 uur te eten. We besloten maar tegelijk ronde 4 en 5 aan te kruizen, omdat we niet nog 45 min wilde wachten op 2 stukjes sushi. Uiteindelijk hebben we 2,5 uur gegeten voor 10 hapjes, wat ik erg lang vind. De dumpling was niet wat ik gewend ben van een dumpling. Ik vind het erg zonde dat ik hier ben gaan eten, toch was ik erg blij te zien dat ze vegan zalm sushi verkochten en deze was dan ook erg lekker.
